En Fuego Cantina

This space has changed restaurants several times and nothing seems to stick.So when Ted Montana's Grill next-door had over an hour wait and this place had opened seating I wasn't hopeful. We were starving so we decided to give it a shot anyway.Immediately, I noticed how friendly the staff was and grateful that we were quickly seated. I decided to just order a bunch of things on the menu to give it all a shot, since I didn't think it would last long nor that we would be back. When I tell you, I was floored by how delicious these tacos were I've already been back twice to get more. The Elote appetizer was better than I could've possibly expected, and the queso with guac and chips was a really great portion considering price.At this point, I've tried every taco on the menu and I highly recommend all of them. I wanna say steak is my favorite but honestly, it could be any one of them on a different day. To top it off, the drinks were strong, and the staff was incredibly friendly. I think in time this place will have the hour wait and not the other way around. Southlands has finally got another great restaurant and I believe they're here to stay. The decor's classic Mexican restaurant with a warm family touch. The lighting is great not too bright comfortable for eating a meal and this restaurant could be for an intimate date night dinner, a night out with the family and even a fun evening with friends. The atmosphere is very versatile. I'm so glad we popped in.

I cannot get enough of this place!! Pork belly tacos are insanely fire, spicy tomatillo salsa, flavorful crispy tender pork belly, pickled red onion... holy crap!! The best fire in my mouth! The Cadillac marg is out of this world, so delicious and boy is it strong! Delicious blue corn tortillas, actually guac of substance with chilis inside! Service is phenomenal and fast. Elsa and Bailey specifically have been great! You have to check this place out!!

Stopped in here for a quick dinner before the Southlands Wine Walk. Enjoyed the cocktails and tacos, and great chips. Overall though it was a bit expensive for regularly going to. This spot has gone through a few different restaurants, and honestly all of them have been good and something I was sad to see go. The chef/owner came over to check on us ad the staff was very friendly.

We have been waiting for a new place to open up in this spot. We learned they have been in operation for about 7 months. It is a cozy atmosphere with Latin photos and a nice size bar area. They have happy hour that starts off at 2. I really enjoyed my chicken fried chicken taco and carnitas taco. The slaw on the carnitas taco burst with yummy pineapple. I ordered a skinny margarita. The cost of $14 was shocking, and it just wasn't good. It tasted like straight lime juice and no salt on rim. They were also out of 2 of the three drafts that they advertise. The server was quiet but attentive. Lastly, they have good guacamole and chips. Their elote needed a bit more seasoning and their charro beans, well needed more beans. It was mainly sauce and bacon and tomatoes. We like to support locally owned restaurants, but they need to kick it up a notch to be remembered.

Service was great. Decent food and drinks but way overpriced. It's like an overpriced Torchy's with a smaller menu.

The food here is amazing! The queso and hot salsa are super delicious, and the margaritas are awesome. Service is so sweet and sincere and on point. I highly recommend!

Came here for a happy hour with friends. Happy hour prices were a good deal and the tacos weren't bad. Drinks were a different story. A friend asked for a skinny margarita and the waitress said "we can't really do that." Another friend ordered rum and coke and it was vanilla flavored. All in all, the drinks weren't good and service was inconsistent. It's a big bummer because I love when new places come to Southlands but, not sure I'll be back.

Yummy yummy awesome appetizer, tacos, small plates and deserts at this "new" spot in southlands. Service is outstanding front of house greeting by super great young folks, bar was very prompt and cocktails were very well made and tasted great. 1st visit there were no draft beers, but they now have that worked out. As they get service and kitchen rolling I'll bet we see more menu items and some specials. For now just taco offerings mostly, but all are delish. Family owned and operated makes this a great little addition to our date nights. They care about the ingredients and preparation of all the great items. It is very tasty

EnFuego Cantina at Southlands Mall in Aurora, Colorado is "on fire" with fun, food and drink! The trendy taco and tapas bar, is a great find for an affordable taste treat and creative libations! Must stop if going to the AMC theater in Southlands. Lunch special 2 designer tacos and soft drink $12. They open at 11 am. We tried many of the menu items and they were all fresh and had a light flare! Read the company mantra about supporting local farms! We enjoyed several types of tacos, shrimp, skirt steak and blackened fish. Added some delicious guacamole and pinto beans sides. The brisket sliders are a must try choice! The creative mocktail, margarita was flavorful! They are willing to create your dream drink! Taylor was our server and made our first visit festive and enjoyable! Be sure to try this new restaurant!

Best dang tacos and margs in town! Been here a couple of times and have had a great experience every time. From the food to the friendly staff and atmosphere this place is one of my favorites to frequent weekly. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
