Son and daughter-in-law's fave Mexican place - great atmosphere, great big margs, and excellent fajitas! Our server was great and kept our chips and salsa filled!

Let me start by saying they have a great margarita here at El Tapatio, it's the food where they lose me. It feels very unauthentic and frankly bland. Little to no spice in anything which I understand they want to appeal to everyone but for Mexican food it just doesn't quite do it for me. The prices are not extremely high but I don't feel that the value on the dishes is fair. The service has always been friendly and the staff is very knowledgeable.

Yelp reviewers are right.Pretty mediocre mexi cuisine.This place use to be a Bennigans...and the ghost of mediocrity still lingers.Food is very bland and uninspired.Service was great but that don't make the food taste better.If you are starving and gas is on E....this might suffice.Also the yelp app offers a 10% discount which they refused to accept....oh well.

We never had a bad meal from El Tapatio, no matter which location! Was thrilled to try Chef's salad which is a bed of fresh, crisp veggies topped with 5 fat hot wings! They are more temperature hot (just freshly fried!) than spice hot, which was perfect for me and my family. The Bianca salad is very tasty as well. The Tapatio special quesadillas is more like an inside out quesadillas and the enchiladas are full of flavor, tender, and more than enough food. I can't wait to try other items on the huge menu especially the big platters that serve 4-5 people. Sounds perfect for taking out and sharing at home!

Stopped in for lunch with my lovely bride after my hand surgery appointment. We were impressed from the time we parked until the time we left. Plenty of safe parking and a beautifully maintained building. The patio space and the flowers are really a nice touch. We were seated immediately and chips and salsa appeared on our table within a minute of sitting down. Our waitress, a beautiful and pleasant woman named Paulina, took our drink order immediately. She returned with our drinks a minute later and took our lunch order. I can't stress just how pleasant, professional and friendly Paulina was. It really made our lunch even more enjoyable. My wife ordered fish fajitas and I chimichanga. The food was delivered piping hot and fresh within ten minutes of placing the order. The portions were huge and everything was cooked perfectly. Our lunch itself and our dining experience was first rate and we will gladly return. This is only a mile from our house and used to be a Bennigan's. Minor hint. When the place is completely empty, it felt odd to have anyone that came seated right next to us.
