El Alamo

The menudo and pozole are amazing at this spot. If you are new to Mexican food and want try these two things out, def come check this place on a Sunday.La comida estaba bien rica! El pan blanco que le dan con el menudo estaba blandito y tostado.El que no le guste, que coma taco bell.

I've only been here less than a handful of times but I can say they have the best bolillo I've had in Colorado! When you walk in you'll see the pastries but you'll have to go to the register to order the bolillo. This bread is very big and so soft inside. It doesn't get hard either after one or two days. It stays fresh! I also tried the pastries and they are also very good.

Came in early Saturday evening. Was craving tamales but they were out. Decided on the chile rellenos instead. OMG! The best non crispy authentic I have had in Denver. You get two large rellenos, rice and beans and 2 large homemade tortillas (choice of flour or corn and I chose flour). The staff is very friendly, and bilingual. Service is on point. Sodas are super cold. They have an amazing assortment of pastries but held off. I was curious if they sold liquor but didn't ask. Will definitely return!!

We ordered to go. Very busy place. All tables were occupied and the phone rang to place orders. We had caldo de res and menudo. Both were good. They came with bread and homemade corn tortillas. We will be back. Probably best to order by phone.

This place is awesome and food is delish. The best menudo, and street tacos on this side of town. Always clean and fresh food. The staff is always friendly and they do speak English. They even offer pastries. Give El Alamo a try, you will be coming back for seconds.

The food is good but thats about it,horrible customer service, the people at the counter is very rude too, I think is because of the lack of the owner to be around.Dont even try to place an order in this place they will forget about it and you will end up with no food.I placed an order for menudos and some bread and the lady at the phone said that it was going to be ready in 15 min, so I drove 30 min to get there and I told them my name and what my order was, the lady asked me again who I was and that they didnt have any orders under my name and that it was going to take another 15 minutes to remake my order, so yuup I left and I lost 1 hour of my valuable time for nothing.For me that did it, I won't give it a try again.

This place was the best most authentic Mexican food in town price is very very reasonable in fact they're pretty cheap the excellent excellent meals they even have their own Bakery excellent bread Donuts and the staff or service Goes Buzz goes above and beyond to make their customers happy. Try it You'll see I'm right I give them 5 stars
