Egg Roll King

I haven't been here in a while and thought we would start going there again since it was so close to home.the food was ok.However, I didn't notice until later that on my receipt that there was tip charge for my Take Out order. That is a bad business practice and unscrupulous.Will never return.

We've ordered delivery from Egg Roll King two or three times a year for the last decade and a half, and always on Thanksgiving Eve. The delivery times are consistently faster than what they state on the phone, the drivers are always very pleasant, and the food is fantastic every time.My wife and I invariably get the "Family Style Dinner" with each one's choice of entree, an appetizer sampler, hot and sour soup and extra mustard for dipping our appetizers in. Sometimes we'll add some sushi. The portion sizes are large enough that we have leftover Chinese food to rotate with the leftover Thanksgiving fixings every year.I've only ever eaten in the restaurant once, many years ago. I remember it being pleasant with good service.I'm sure we'll continue to get delivery on occasion from this great little place as long as we live in the area and the restaurant remains open.

Unassuming little place in a strip mall off of County Line and Quebec. The staff is extremely friendly, I often see them greeting folks as regulars. You really get a close neighborhood feel from them. It's a small interior, but quaint. We usually do takeout. The Chicken entrees are my go-to. The batter is light and crispy, and I never have an issue with soggy chicken! Today, the chicken was so fresh that is was still piping hot - perfection. The general chicken is my favorite sauce, but I like the orange as well. Though, my orange chicken has less sauce than usual would like, it was still delicious and I appreciated that they made sure nothing would soak up the moisture and get soggy - I don't need something drenched in sauce.The fried rice is good, flavorful, but it would be nice to have some eggs, scallions or veggies in it. Still flavorful and nice, regardless. We usually add on a vegetable egg roll or crab Rangoon to complete it! So overall, very happy with this location and I would go as far to say it's my favorite Chinese takeout in the area.

Located in a small strip mall, Egg Roll King is unpretentious. However, this establishment is doing things right. On a Saturday early evening, there was a steady flow of customers coming to dine in or to pick up orders.Service was helpful and prompt. The food was delicious and portion sizes were good. I had the Curry Fried Rice (prepared mildly spicy at my request), my wife had the Cashew Shrimp, and we shared the Vegetable Egg Roll appetizer.

Learned about this location through Tik Tok. The shrimp eggs rolls, chefs kiss. Ordered lunch special which came with entree, fried rice,egg roll, and a wonton. The food was ok. I prefer my wontons on sweeter side. Service was quick and food hot when it came out.

Had a great lunch here on Saturday. Fast, quick, friendly service. A robust menu of Asian dishes. I had the King Pao Triple Delight lunch special served with hot and sour soup, fried rice, and egg roll. The food was hot, fresh and very delicious. The combination of shrimp, chicken, beef and fresh vegetables was just perfect. Definitely coming back here for more.

First time customer here. I was not disappointed. I was a walk in customer and placed a to go food order. My food was ready within 8-10 minutes, well packaged and included a menu for future use. The staff was efficient. Highlights: the hot-n-sour spicy soup was delicious; the sweet and sour chicken entree was great and the vegetable egg rolls were warm and tasty. The business interior was roomy with tables and booths. It appeared to me they do mostly take out orders. I look forward to trying other items on their menu soon. Thanks!

I held back on reviewing this place after my first experience because I wanted to give them another chance. I tried them again tonight with different menu items and I have to say it's some of the worst Chinese food I've ever had. So disappointing.. The wrapper on the egg rolls and crab/cheese wontons are horrible. They taste like starchy cardboard and the filling isn't much better. I tried the beef and the chicken and I would pick the chicken because the beef was mushy. Either way nothing tastes fresh at all. The apps taste like they have been sitting in the freezer for months. I hate to rip on them, but the food is just not good at all.

It's always a hit or miss with take out from Asian restaurants. This one however to me is the worst I have had. We got the orange chicken and sesame beef with white and fried rice. The orange chicken had no flavor and was nothing but breading and the beef was dry and again had no flavor to it at all. We also got the crab wontons and they were so greasy that is all you could taste with them. The only decent thing about the meal was the fried rice. It was actually very good compared to other places I have been and gotten take out from. I would be willing to go into the restaurant to give them another shot though.

This restaurant has been in our neighborhood for a long time and we have never tried. We ordered takeout. It was very fast. Food was average. WS hoping for more. Will try again.
