I was visiting from out of town and wanted to try Double D's Pizza. I called ahead and spoke with L who was very friendly. When I arrived, L greeted me and was my server. She was so nice and friendly. I ordered an individual pizza and it was incredibly delicious! The sourdough crust was amazing. Definitely, one of the best pizzas ever. I really enjoyed the service from L and the incredible pizza!

Soososososo good! Whenever we come into town we have to go here! The crust is so unique and if you like sourdough you'll love it! Also love the option of having them make it but then getting to take it home "raw" is a great option because you can cook it however you like!

Lunch today at Double D's Sourdough Pizzeria @ Taphouse was great. My husband had the Italian Awe sandwich and I had the small pepperoni pizza. Both items were delicious! Restaurant was spacious, easy parking, and service was excellent. I would recommend!

Yeah, Double D's is fantastic. My wife and I absolutely love this place. The sourdough pizza crust is extremely good and definitely fermented for the perfect amount of time. The pizza sauce is tangy and sooo good. Add whatever your favorite toppings are and you will get a fantastic pie. The smell that hits you when you walk in is just like so many great pizzerias back in New England. We have a new favorite pizza shop!We ordered online, I showed up to the shop just at the time when the pizza was said to be ready on my confirmation. I walked in and was greeted immediately by a lovely lady with a great smile. She asked for my name, went and got my pizzas, and I headed out with another great smile in no time at all. Great service, great experience.

The pizza was delicious! The service was okay. Our waiter had a big party and unfortunately it affected our service. The waiter was very friendly but there was 3 other guys standing around and I felt like they should have stepped in to help. We didn't get our salads and wings until after the pizza . I had to get up and ask for a drink. The salad wasn't fresh but my daughter really enjoyed the wings. I would definitely order the pizza again. It was small but very tasty.

I got a flyer in the mail and decided to try Double D's. I'm new to the area, and have yet to find my pizza place. The pizza was pretty good, but a little overcooked. I ordered two vegetable toppings, and they were extremely scant and barely discernible on the pizza. Kind of disappointing. Might as well have just ordered a cheese pizza. I love the concept, and the outdoor seating is great. My server was wonderful. Just feel like the pizza needs to up its game a little bit.

Excellent Brooklyn Sourdough Pizza!Ordered two pizzas for takeout today. Not in mood to fix anything and wanted pizza. So VERY glad I tried this place. One of the best things about good pizza in NYC is the dough. This sourdough took me right back to my favorite joint in Brooklyn, right near the bridge. Most of the time the dough is pretty tasteless. Even when the crust is good-- crisp outside with a great chew. This crust has that, AND a superb sourdough flavor. It compliments the molto de carne (meats pizza) beautifully. If you, like me, miss pizza from NYC, give this place a try!
