Gnocchi marinara. Gnocchi was light and pillowy as you'd hope, marinara needed salt and sweeter tomatoes in the gravy.

Kind of a fascinating place. It is much bigger than you think. It has three distinct levels. Did I mention it was fascinating?Service was excellent. I think the wine selection could be better. We had a party of two and were seated immediately. It was an early Sunday evening in January. We had fettuccine Alfredo and gnocchi with meat sauce. The fettuccini was homemade and delicious as was the Alfredo. The gnocchi was properly cooked and served however I found the meat sauce to be a bit bitter. Prices were reasonable compared to other similar restaurants. The ambiance was. . . . a lot. It was a cross between New York City and 1970 Las Vegas. My opinion is you need to see it. I do recommend

Food is good, but really pricey. Even at lunch. Everything is ala carte so that really pushes the price up. Want salad with your meal? Extra charge. A couple of meatballs? Ditto. Also, don't even think about splitting the check. You'll need to find another way to share the cost with your dining companions. I'm local but I think most of the people who dine here come from hotels and there are not many dining choices in the area.

The food was delicious. Lovely atmosphere. I understand the price the Fettuccine Alfredo, but it could have used more flavor. The Minestrone Soup $4.50 was not included with my meal, and it was a very small cup, maybe 1 1/2 cups?WHAT ASTOUNDED ME WAS THAT THE GARLIC CHEESE BREAD (SEE PHOTO) WAS $17.00!!!! ( Basically almost as much as the Fettuccine Alfredo I HAD NO IDEA IT WAS THAT EXPENSIVE OR I WOULDN'T HAVE. EVEN ORDERED IT. To top it off, I never even got the bread and butter that is supposed to come with your meal. I probably won't be back,

When we walked in here, we walked in to every Italian restaurant your parents and grandparents would take you to. From the decor, to the ambiance, down to the food, everything was just as you remembered it. As Frank Sinatra Duo's were playing in the background, projected like you were in a little courtyard somewhere in Europe on a Friday night, we have the menu the once over. We settled on an appetizer. The fried calamari. Boom, done. On to the mains. I see the Combination: 3 mains in one. I was hungry but not that hungry, so I saw the Mezza Mezza which was 2 mains. Boom. I went for the lasagne and ravioli. The wife went for the spinach tortellini alfredo with artichoke. Food came out in good time, staged over courses appropriately. Everything was good. Very happy with service and food.

When we visit DiCicco's, we ALWAYS start with the House Salad ($4.95) and their homemade Dressing! The salad is filled with fresh Iceberg lettuce, crisp tomatoes, slivers of red onions, olives, Feta cheese, and croutons. A perfect precursor to an Italian meal!

The award for "not what I was expecting" goes to Dicicco's. From the outside it looks like they are out of business. It's in an area with mainly hotels and not much other industry or dining options. The building looks a bit run down and very old school Italy. Walk inside and the decor is what I would call cheesy Italy. Murals and carpet everywhere. The main dining area is spacious and has a giant projector screen which was playing a Andre Rieu concert from 2006 on it. The interior is multiple levels which are apparently used for conference space. We were skeptical...I was sure I was going to get razzed by my colleagues for this lunch choice. The service is impeccable. Prompt, efficient and friendly. The menu has classic Italian dishes. Since it was lunch we didn't check out a wine or alcohol menu. The food was delicious and massive portions. The rigatoni bolognese was made with real tomato sauce and fresh sausage. The calzoni was HUGE and could have easily been shared by 3 people. Gnocchi was fresh and in a fancy tomato sauce and the bread for the table was warm and so soft and delicious. Don't let the decor fool you. This is a legit dining experience. I would willingly eat here again.

I've eaten here about a half dozen times in the last year. One of my favorite Italian restaurants to stop at in Denver. They have a projector playing (usually opera) and the restaurant setup makes for a great lunch or dinner atmosphere. The pasta, lasagna, and pizza are all very good especially considering the entree price (I'm personally quite fond of the lasagna). The staff has always been really great and never had an issue with them or any of the food that's been served. If you are looking for a dessert option their tiramisu is quite excellent! Crème Brulee was also good! I'd definitely recommend checking this place out and I will be stopping by again next time I'm in town!

A great alternative to the many chain restaurants near the airport. Both the food and service were great. We would definitely return.

The food was really good and the service was excellent. It's a very unique looking place on the inside with a festive atmosphere. However, they need to fix their plumbing. As soon as I walked in the door, there was a strong smell of sewer.

The service was okay. Our waiter was pretty attentive and then disappeared when it came time to pay the bill so we had to wait 20 extra minutes.Food was good, however there are a lot of extra charges to consider if you want anything besides just plain spaghetti. They also do not split checks and add 4% if you're using card so be prepared.
