Cultivar cafe

I was really excited to visit a new coffee shop. Especially one right next to the Molly Brown Summer House. I've seen the signs for a few weeks and decided to stop in. The building, inside and out, is absolutely beautiful. The staff is ultra pleasant but that's kinda where the wheels fall off. I ordered butternut squash soup, a bean and cheese burrito and an iced coffee. The soup was hot and quite tasty. The burrito was a cheap frozen burrito they heated up in a microwave. I was expecting a real burrito of some kind, not a six inch frozen burrito. The roll was so stale and hard I couldn't open it. My wife finally managed to get it open but it fell apart in her hand. It was stale, solid as a rock and inedible. My experience was not especially worth my time and certainly not worth my money. They seemed to be setting up for an event and my presence was distracting them from that. I was excited about a new coffee shop but the experience has me doubting I'll ever return.

I recently went there with two friends. Very disappointing. Extremely limited menu, and the few items that were available were not tasty. In fact, barely edible. I had the salad bar, which was ok, but certainly nothing special. My friends had entrees, and they reported they were not very good. This is apparently a "one man operation" and he tries his best, but the service is slow. I cannot, in good conscience, recommend this restaurant to anyone. The three of us agreed it won't be in business long, so if you want to try it you should hurry in. And good luck, if you do.

Best butternut squash soup I have ever had! The spaghetti meatballs was also delicious! I will definitely be going back.

Yesterday we savored our tea and morning sweets in this beautiful, quiet space, listening to soul-soothing music. Great service.
