City Pho

I think they fixed the issues i read in the previous reviews. I would consider myself a pho snob. And I was very pleased with the temperature and flavor. The broth is excellent. Only regret was there wasn't a tofu option. The Bahn mi is where we lost a star. It wasn't bad, but I personally did not enjoy the shrimp being coated in a creamy sauce. There is comfortable seating in the surrounding area. We would come back for sure.

PSA: DON NOT EAT HEREBroth is like warm and extremely bland. Meat is not cooked and are all raw. They put the wedge of lime IN the broth. I've had food court pho that were more edible than this. Super gross and inedible!

DONT GO HERE! Go to POUR LE FRANCE downstairs Get the steak frites. It's $20 and freakin delicious.

The pho is just okay since it is at the airport, nothing to expect. Quick and easy location to grab a quick bite before the flight.

I ate Chicken Pho here on Tuesday afternoon and got very sick~ I hope they check the food more carefully!

Dang, 2 stars for service and price...but flavor is definitely 1. The soup is flavorless, not hot enough to cook the noodle to a good state....the condiments all looked closer to their expiration honestly.There are better options for sure...

Pro - the bread was nice and chewy. Perfect consistency.Cons - everything else. The carrots inside weren't even pickled. The bbq pork had no flavor at all. The Banh Mi fell flat. I've had a lot of Banh mi(s) in my lifetime and was craving some Asian food. Should have known better. Tried to avoid the chains nearby but they probably would have been a better choice.

I guess I should have looked at the reviews before I took the chance on this place :(Travelling thru Denver on the way to Sicily and I hadn't had breakfast so i'm STARVING... As I'm walking down the concourse I see the sign for a chinese place but when i get there I noticed this place next door. I ALWAYS choose pho over chinese, so i SWERVED left! First sign (which I ignored) where all of the other food places are either crowded or have lots of people waiting to be served, this one is deserted. I figured.... MAYBE it's because i'm in Denver and they just don't appreciate Vietnamese here in Colorado?? Second Sign (which i normally DO NOT IGNORE). I don't smell ANY of the normal smells associated with Pho.... cinnamon, jalapenos, star anise, fish sauce.... NOTHING.There is only one guy behind the counter. he's a nice young guy and at least he's clean and well mannered. I DO spot a little Vietnamese girl that darts in and out of the back, but other than that no other staff are present. @_@Third and Fourth Strike - the place is SUPER blah inside. One of the things that i love about Viet and in particular Pho spots is how inviting and Authentic, they are. there are none of the usual - no alter, no live plants, no charms or ornaments from the country itself. it's all very "medical". lots of stainless steel and ALLLLL ingredients are under cover; nothing out for customers to look at and be enticed by. :/So this establishment serves Pho (soup), and Bahn Mi (sandwich) The clerk tells me all food is premade and made "To Go", as he turns to grab an already prepared bowl of beef, and noodles from the fridge behind him. He then proceeds to scoop steaming broth (which again, i smell NOTHING), and adds a small baggie of spouts, lime, cilantro and onions to my pile next to the register. there are condiment packets available close by - hoisin and sriracha, as well as chop sticks. No FISH SAUCE! UGH I'm really glad I grabbed THREE packets of sriracha, I didn't grab the hoisin, which i should have but by the time I sat down i was so HANGRY and didn't want to get back up. As I sat down I squeezed in the lime, added two packets of sriracha to start, added the veg and tasted..... VERY BLAND. i added the other packet of sriracha. ugh... The slices of beef tasted like they were just sliced and boiled, and not even in broth. There is NONE of the COMFORT i normally associate with Pho, a lot of the cilantro was yellowing and near its end. the sprouts were fine and actually crisp, which is a must for me, so they got a star for that (I'm REALLY TRYING!). I also gave that star because the clerk was nice. ;) I even left him a good tip! I've never had an actual BAD bowl of Pho before, and this one wasn't BAD???? Just would have needed a LOT of help to get the flavor factor UP!!! it has POTENTIAL.I DID also pick up a Bahn Mi for later, and which i ended up eating at my gate - i was THAT unsatisfied. This sandwich was passable. the hoagie was crisp (Hey stuck it under a salamander for a bit to get the chill out), and the BBQ pork; though premade was sliced thin enough so that I wasn't struggling to tear into it. I asked for extra jalapeno's, and I don't know where they went, but I only found a few in my sandwich...Sorry guys, i REALLY TRY to give the best reviews I can but for as hungry as I was, and to be as disappointed as I was, just couldn't justify it @@_@@In by humble opinion I would say that if you just up your broth game? this could be a GREAT airport eat!

I don't love giving a bad rating but it wasn't good pho.Price is high, it wasn't hot enough to cook the noodles, too much lime in the bland lukewarm warm broth, and some of the cilantro was bad.I really wanted something warm when the airport was so cold!

Taste like shit never ever try itstay away from this restablishment soup taste like water, uncooked noodle
