Cilantro & Perejil

Our family and some friends ate at Cilantro & Perejil while at New Terrain Brewing. I got an order of their $18 chicken nachos for the table. The nachos were fine, small for the price, but my review is for the business itself. When I picked up the food I asked if I could have 4 plates for the table since we were sharing, the older female chef rolled her eyes at me, scoffed, and said that will be an additional $1 as they're compostable, when I said never mind she said "here just take them" and steamed off. Sorry if my tiny order of $18 chips and cheese don't cover the tiny plates, the menu didn't say anything about side plates costing extra. So tired of food establishments treating their customers like garbage that they can nickel and dime. Would not recommend and will never eat at this place again. Good luck with your business model of biting the hand that is buying your subpar food.

Dear Cilantro & Perejil,I was lured in from the parking lot by your delicious aroma. In fact, I stopped in my tracks to place my order before heading inside at Green Mountain Brewing for a couple brews. Your staff was super friendly and wonderfully communicative about wait times. After a mere 15 minutes my buzzer went off and I dashed out to grab my chicken bowl. Holy delicious! My chicken bowl was loaded with rice, beans, marinated chicken, lettuce, tomato, guac, cilantro, cheese, sour cream, and pickled onions. It was hot, delicious, and just the protein packed meal I needed after a morning spent hiking in the mountains. I really loved the flavor combination! Needless to say, I will gladly come back to nosh on all your wonderfully delicious from-scratch Mexican eats. Your newest fan,Carly "All the Pickled Onion" W.PS - Finding you seems to be tricky. You are elusive and don't readily post your schedule for your eager fans. Please work on that! I'd love to stalk you directly.

Tried this food truck while at Over Yonder Brewing and really enjoyed it. Food was ready 15 minutes after ordering. The chicken tacos were so flavorful, and the hot sauce kicked them up a notch. Barbacoa quesadilla was huge and tasty, although a bit greasy for my taste.

@ Station 26 Brewing on a Monday evening. No wait, easy ordering and they give you a beeper to take to your table. Took maybe 15 mins max. Tacos were great!...we ordered all of them and each was very tasty and well prepared. Even the mahi taco was really good (in Denver!). Was in CDMX a few mos ago, and this food truck is on par with the tacos I got down there.

Hands down the best pork tacos I've had in Colorado. Nice and spicy in the best way possible (also a bit of a choose your own adventure since the salsa is on the side). I also had the jalapeño poppers and they were great as well. I'd choose a brewery purely based on this food trucks location. The chef was super friendly, and I'm excited to try more of the menu!

Wow - these are the best tacos we've had since leaving Washington state. We got the pork tacos and they blew our mind! The tortillas were toasted perfectly and the habenero salsa was so spicy and delicious! Also got the jalepeno poppers and they were equally delicious. Can't wait to catch this food truck again.

I Had high hopes for this food truck as I had seen it outside New Terrain on a few occasions and decided to try it last night. I'll start off by saying the staff was very friendly and nice, but the food was sub par - especially for the price. The chicken burrito (even when handed to us right after they made it) was cold, the rice was undercooked, the burrito was also about 60% rice, had barely any beans, and I found a small bone in the chicken. There was also a ton of cilantro but no salsa. Unfortunately I won't be giving it another try.

Great food and drink. Upsetting I got charged a gratuity fee for a 2 party meal along with a kitchen fee. Was here 3 weeks ago and was not charged for either! ​

Really fantastic tacos and the chicken nachos were the best thing I've ever eaten in my life. Not to mention the plantains and the owner are both perfectly sweet and adorable.

Checked out Cilantro and Perejil's menu on their website while having a beer at the Colorado Tab House in Arvada. Went out to the food truck and the menu on the side of the truck did not match the one online. Turns out the online menu is old and they won't use anymore. Menu on the side of the truck had some tacos, nachos, bowls and a few other miscellanous items. We ordered the tacos, nachos, and plantains. Tacos were average at best. The nachos turned to soup after 5 mins and were basically inedible. Plantains were the best of the three. For $36 in total I would have expected better. In any case, Cilantro & Perejil is a one and done.
