Church's Chicken

There aren't any Church's near where I live or frequent so when I'm near one I sometimes stop by when in the mood. I normally don't eat biscuits nor honey but their honey glazed biscuits are tasty.

Terrible service. Extremely rude customer service. The cashier Maira yelled at me through the speaker and was extremely rude when I asked for no ranch or mayonnaise due to an allergy. She was extremely combative and I will never come here again. I paid for my food and decided I didn't even want it after she was so disrespectful and laughing with her coworkers about my allergy. Extremely rude. I used to eat church's in Texas so I thought it would be a bit of nostalgia. Not today! All around a crass environment rude employees and I doubt the food is up to par, but I wouldn't know. I paid for food I never received. Will never come here again.

This place has a very strict policy on returning your food which makes it very inconvenient having to drive back. What makes it worst is 99% of the time it's a workers mistake. They take no ownership and don't care. Why does the consumer have to suffer? I asked for French fries got mashed potatoes. I asked for original chicken and got spicy. I'm not going to waste my time driving back. CHANGE YOUR POLICY. OFFER A COUPON ON THE NEXT MEAL. ESPECIALLY WHEN ITS YOUR MISTAKE!!! Or train your workers to Quality Control.

No, no, no. The chicken is dry and overcooked, the biscuits are dry, the mashed potatoes are rock hard. Absolutely awful. If you add cream, butter, salt, and pepper to the mashed potatoes, you can salvage them.

My food was so dry there was no meat under the burnt skin this is so dad it like the gave us week old chicken it's getting worst every time do this will be my last time going hire people that knows how to cook and know what it supposed to look like

Yuck yuck yuck. I LOVE churches chicken and this place was nasty. It looked dirty, the food was old and shocker, they did not give me half of my meal. I spent $21.00 and half my meal was not in the bag. To make matters worse.. I drive 20 minutes across town to get here. I called them to ask if I could come back and get the rest and they told me without a receipt I could not.. yet they did not include a receipt in the bag nor would refund my credit card. Super professional! This was SUCH A GROSS experience, I am not sure I will ever go back to a Churches ever again. The chicken just looked like it had been sitting there for ages... and the drives thru with handwritten paper taped on the menu board.. yuckthis place needs to the health department to pop in unannounced. Wish I could give it 5 million negative stars because I would.

Better alternative for fried chicken, they are crispy and not greasy at all when you eat with your hands. The meat is so flavorful with their seasoning. Try the biscuits they added some sweet honey layer on top. Great staff is always a bonus, so polite and the place is very clean.

Not the first time here, I see why people not happy about customer service, employees should probably be trained about customer service, how to greet with a smile rather starting to ask, " for here or go?". I asked for a family meal and ask for freshly cooked chicken and that wasn't a problem, I was told it will take about 20 minutes, waited and the order was ready in about 25 minuets. Got home and everything was good and fresh like it supposed to be. Good fried chicken but lacks flavor, it's got some but not much. The mashed potatoes were good, the fried okra were ok. Will probably be back since I know that I can request fresh chicken rather than what's sitting under the heating lamps. But I noticed they are busy so even if I got some from what's ready, it will still be good. Another great visit to Churches! I ordered couple of buckets for a party and waited about 30 minutes for fresh chicken, something you can do if you don't want to get from the chicken under the heat lamp. It started raining heavily and one of the employees walked me out to the car with an umbrella which was really nice of them. The checking is great like always.

Very disappointed, I have fond memories of churches fried chicken. I happened to be visiting Denver and saw they have locations in town. Great.... Got my tummy rumbling!!Ordered the Family pack with 10 pieces of spicy leg and thighs. Along with a large side of Cole Slaw and Green Beans. We did this through drive through.Get home. 1st thing the green beans, very soggy and there was a total of about 4 tablespoons in there, but the rest of the container was nothing more than the liquid they were in the pan with. That's hardly a serving for 1 person. 2nd, the chicken was hardly edible. I ended up not being able much off of each piece as it was so dried out. I assuming that had been sitting under the heat lamps for several hours. Total waste of money.The only reason for 2 stars is the staff was polite and the cole slaw was very good.But unfortunately all I can do is remember Churches Fried Chicken for what it used to be. Never again.

This place claims to have great chicken.On the contrary, If you have to smash a jalapeno on your chicken, it's flavorless. I ordered the " bold and spicy" it was niether. I ended up dipping it into a terrible BBQ sauce.That made it much worse.I don't know what these people are selling but fuck it's gross!!
