We thoroughly enjoyed this restaurant. The owner, in particular, was awesome. Very friendly and engaging with the customers.Service was top notch. We all loved our appetizers and entrees. Our local hosts (native New Yorkers who know good, Italian food) are regulars and it is not hard to see why. Thanks for a great night!

Quaint classic neighborhood Italian eatery. Personable staff. Quick service. The carpaccio is slightly on the acidic side but tasty. It'd be better served with parmesan tweels in lieu of bread sticks. I can bathe in that lentil soup though. Gnocchi was light & pillowy but Luke warm in the center.

Chianti is a quaint Italian restaurant with good food and service. Probably one of the fancier restaurants in the area with tablecloths and elevated wait service. Good for a date night or for a small group of people. The food, while a little pricey, is amazing. I got the Gnocchi with vodka sauce, but all of the food at our table looked great. Their beef ragu dish was good too. It was hard to choose what dish sounded best to me that night. I choose the Gnoccchi because I hadn't had it in a while and I can't make proper pasta like they can. They make all their pasta. They have a huge wine list and also a cocktail menu. Can't wait to go back!

Add this to your list of places to eat in Colorado (they have some of the best gnocchi in town)...Let me introduce you to Chianti Ristorante Italiano in Greenwood Village, Colorado. This cozy, family-owned restaurant creates amazing Italian dishes based on a menu designed by the owner himself, Chef Alessandro Carollo. We arrived and were seated in the main dining room. Our server Gerry was phenomenal; he knew the menu inside & out and had great recommendations for us. He was quick with service and had a fabulous demeanor that made our double date so much fun. Chianti had a stellar wine list with exclusive options from Italy & France (which Gerry led us through). The Veal Meatballs were made with garlic, eggs, gorgonzola cream sauce, parmesan cheese, arrabiata sauce, pancetta and grilled bread. The Veal meatballs sat atop the robust & fiery arrabiata sauce. The parmesan cheese added a sharp and salty counterpoint to the sweetness of the veal. The grilled bread provided a contrasting texture of soft chew against the juicy meatballs. The Calmarretti e Zucchine was made with flash-fried calamari, julienne zucchini, & spicy marinara sauce. I was impressed with the calamari - it was the perfect level of flash-fried and kept the integrity of its taste profile. The Burrata e Pomodoro was made with creamy burrata, heirloom tomatoes, wild arugula, olives, & a Modena balsamic reduction. The burrata was cool & mild, which went beautifully with the acidity of the tomatoes. The star of dinner was the Gnocchi alla Vodka e Burrata made with potato dumplings in vodka pink sauce and parmesan cheese & served with a fresh burratina. Bury me in this burrata. The gnocchi were soft and pillowy on the inside with a slightly chewy texture. Their mild, starchy flavor complemented the smooth, sweet & tangy pink sauce, salty parmesan, & rich and milky burratina. The Ravioli di Salsiccia was made with homemade round ravioli filled with Italian Sausage and ricotta; & a fresh tomato-wine sauce. The homemade pasta dough of the ravioli had a subtle wheat flavor; it was thin, elastic, & provided a satisfying bite. Each ravioli enveloped the savory & meaty Italian sausage. The Scaloppine ai Carciofi e Limone was made with veal scaloppine with grilled artichoke hearts & finished with a lemon wine butter sauce. This was a well-balanced dish. The veal & sauce created a rich base that was cut through by the bright and tangy lemon juice. The artichoke hearts added a unique & contrasting flavor profile. For dessert we had the cheesecake - a lovely finish to a fabulous meal.

Today we visited Chianti for the first time. It is a cozy spot, located in the Denver Tech Center area. The restaurant is relatively small, but well organized so even though you may be close to others once it gets full, it doesn't feel uncomfortable. The service was great, attentive and welcoming. Our server was Cynthia and she was knowledgeable and friendly. The food was really good. They bring you nice crusty bread right away, and I requested butter which they also brought me immediately. We ordered the calamari as an appetizer and it was delicious. For our entrees my husband ordered the lamb ossobucco, which was served with saffron ravioli. It was scrumptious! I ordered the bronzinno (Chilean sea bass) that came with roasted veggies in a white wine sauce. Really tasty too!We loved it and plan to be back when we are in the area again.

This was an atypical dinner for one of my favorite places. On arrival I noticed that they had new wood flooring and little adjustable lamps on each table. We were seated next to the wall of wine and I noticed that it hadn't been dusted in too long. Then, while eating our dinner, the Mr. found a jagged triangular piece of plastic in his side of penne. Our server apologized and took the plastic and pasta away. She brought a new serving of pasta and that was the last we heard about it. The rest of our food was good but it was still very disconcerting. We did get a complimentary, delicious tiramisu for our anniversary dessert and the service was very good. I know that accidents can happen in the kitchen but I was surprised that they swept it under the rug so quickly. I do love their food so I will probably be back - but I'll be chewing very carefully.

Went in on Christmas and had pastas. My son was very happy with his bolognese and my gnocchi a la vodka came with a burrata on top. Pricy for $27 but I guess nothing costs less nowadays. Atmosphere is pleasant, place is clean and service is good.

I went in because I read that they had the best gnocchi in Denver. I was in Denver for work, and I was dining alone. When I arrived they made a table for me in the middle of the dining room, not by the kitchen or door, so I immediately felt welcome rather than some bother stashed out of the way. It was a little later, so not during the dinner rush, which I'm sure helped. The restaurant is not large, but the ambience was very nice. I was waiting on right away and I ordered a glass of red wine from the Veneto region. The menu had wonderful selections and I settled on the Italian sausage and mushroom risotto at the recommendation of my server. I'm so thankful she recommended it, because it was one of my best meals this year and some of the best risotto I've ever had! I was full from the risotto and delicious bread that came out beforehand, so I didn't order dessert. I've been telling everyone about this restaurant. I will definitely be back!

Hands down the best Italian restaurant I have eaten at since moving to Denver almost a year ago. Chianti is small and unassuming from the outside and small and romantic on the inside. It is very likely you will need a reservation. However, doing so is 100% worth it. The service is fantastic, from our hostess to our server everyone very much cared about our experience. The prices are very good for the quality and portion sizes you receive as well. The food itself was amazing, every dish I have had is amazing, the desert options are good, there is nothing here that I can point a finger at needing improvement. TL:DR - make a reservation and go to Chianti
