Cheddar's Scratch Kitchen

Love how welcoming and cozy the entire place is! Many real plants, stone and wood walls, and the big slow fan in the main room really makes the restaurant lovely. AND it's very clean!!! Our delightful server was Maddy who was attentive and friendly and helpful. Her tactful timing was appreciated and we ordered our food. Dad ordered the chicken fried steak and loved it. Mom got the chicken fried chicken and really liked her food also. Hubby got the 6 oz. sirloin and it was perfectly cooked and seasoned well. I wasn't in the mood for meat so I ordered the vegetable dish which was a salad or soup and 4 side dishes!! Holy mackerel! Almost everything was fabulous and we all left happy and satiated.

Review based on the visit of 1/9/25:I come to Cheddar's fairly regularly and usually the service is pretty good. Before we sat down, we were waiting for the rest of our party to come, so we got some drinks at the bar. I got the skinny margarita and it was pretty decent. My boyfriend got the shaker margarita, it was very watered down and not good. We finally got sat and it took about 30 minutes for us to get our order. The food didn't take too long, which was nice. But they were forgetting some of our food. Overall, the food was pretty good, but we had to keep asking the server for things that were missing. I understand accidents happen, so I won't hold it against them. I just wasn't thrilled with this visit.

I love the atmosphere here!! It is cozy and welcoming! Our server was attentive and friendly! As always, the food was perfect! It was the first time we had the Spinach dip and it didn't disappoint! The salads and burgers were delicious! A big shout out to the Monte Cristo sandwich! It was perfection!! Highly recommend this establishment!

Came here on a Tuesday night would a group of friends around 7:30pm. We were seating right away near the bar area. It seemed like two waiters running the show and being the bartender! Our waiter was great, very attentive even though he had quite a few other tables. We appreciated the fact that he made our table a milkshake even though it wasn't on the menu. The Texas Tea was amazing and beyond refreshing. Plus, the prices on these drinks are extremely reasonable. The food came out in 10/15 minutes or so and it was cooked perfectly! I had the BBQ burger and it was tasty. Nothing to write home about but definitely a well-cooked burger. The fish and pasta dish were fairly large portions, so we were able to take home leftovers. I was so pleasantly surprised with the bill when it came, our waiter was nice enough to split the check 4 ways and it was $22 for a burger fries and alcohol beverage! Great Deal! Highly recommend for a big group or smaller get togethers. If I am ever in the area, I would be happy to eat here again. Overall 4/5 stars!

Cheddars has a great menu with a lot of selection and I've enjoyed almost everything I've had there. However, every time I have ordered or dined, I have not received the correct food. But I do keep coming back because I enjoy the menu so much when I receive what I order.I have ordered take out in the past that was missing or had incorrect items, which I have let go but it seems to be a common pattern here and why I felt the need to give only 3 stars.We dined in this evening and our server was attentive and friendly. I really enjoy the atmosphere as it's rustic and welcoming. When our food arrived, my loaded baked potato was missing toppings, and my grandmother received the wrong items for her order. I did not want to fuss on my dish because they were busy and it was minimal, but also my grandmothers order was corrected by our server right away, fortunately. However, I put in a to go order, and though I have to take responsibility for not checking before I left, it took FOREVER for me to receive my to go order. I realized we were there over an hour and I just wanted to leave at that point and I had already paid. I was so incredibly disappointed with what I received when I got home. I ordered a Buffalo chicken wrap with the coleslaw and sauces on the side. I received chicken tenders in melted cheese thrown together in an open ended tortilla. I know I should've checked my food before leaving as this seems to be a common occurrence. Overall, the food and service is great, if you can get the correct food. However, I will probably be returning here less frequently

Every time I'm in the Denver metro area, we normally have one stop to this cheddars. This time we came by for mother's days weekend which was a treat! It was busy and so we did have to wait as expected. I came with my kids, mom and husband and my two youngest kids were not on their best behavior. The staff paid no mind and was super kind and accommodating. We ordered three honey butter croissant which is a must in my book! So so so good! My mom and hubby had sweet tea and loved it. For our meals , I had the buffalo style chicken tenders with fries and broccoli and it was so good and filling! My mom got the fried catfish with coleslaw and broccoli and loved it. My husband got the blackened catfish with mashed potatoes and broccoli and cheese casserole and it was good! My daughters split the Alfredo pasta and loved it! Thanks for always a consistent great experience!

I was pleasantly surprised by this place! I had always need skeptical of going here for some reason, but now I hope I go back! I ordered the lemon pepper chicken that came with rice, and two sides. I had mashed potatoes and broccoli. The whole meal was delicious! We have a friend who is vegetarian, and he asked for chicken Alfredo, no chicken. The server let him know they have a vegetarian version with veggies! He ate the whole thing! Prices were very fair!

I give it an okay because it was. 11AM on a saturday I met a friend for lunch. She requested a table with chairs, sorry we can't do that because we only have 2 servers so you have to sit in the bar. At 11 am it was well air conditioned. We decided on the Monte Cristo and a Club sandwhich. Both come with an ample side of fries in one of those little metal cone cup things. The club was served on some nice thck bread. It was freshly made. Nothing complicated just a simple sandwhich. The Monte Cristo was very good. Servved with the traditional respberry jelly, cut into 4, batter dipped and deep fried. The batter not too thick and dusted with powdered sugar. The service was very relaxed as we let our server know we were in no hurry and were here to have lunch and catch up. Unfortuantely, he never did mention his name. He did take good care of us making sure that he stopped in occasionally to see if we needed anything or beverage refills.

Desmond was great. Attentive and personable. We had a ton of food as we got homemade onion rings as an appetizer and he substituted a side Caesar salad for his two sides. He had a ribeye and it was 'okay' to him. My grilled rainbow trout was delish. Nice and relaxing atmosphere with the Avalanche game on. Great dinner.
