CD's Wings - Aurora

If you're on the hunt for the best wings in the Denver area, look no further!! I was introduced to CD's last year at the Chicken Fight Festival. My son and I each had a sample and from that moment on, we were hooked! The wings are crispy on the outside (yummmm), tender on the inside, and diners may either get them tossed in one of the many fabulous sauces (or order on the side). Either way these are totally finger licking good! With different spice levels, my fave by far is the Mango Habanero. The Lemon Pepper comes a close second. We are so grateful that CD's opened this new location. Online ordering is easy peasy and they do offer dine in, pick up, or delivery (DoorDash). Now I know I saved CD's to my "Food Truck Frenzy" collection and it is true, they do have a Food Truck. So, if you should ever see it at the local park or festival, go nowhere else. Wings are cooked to order so it may take a bit before you get your order, but the wait is so worth it.

Meh, not the best wings in the area. I know inflation is a thing but seems a bit pricey. However, if you do their combo meals, you get fries, desserts, drinks on top of the wings. It is tucked in between Five Guys and Chipotle in Cornerstar plaza. Their wings are on the smaller side. Sauces were good (tried the basics -- bbq and garlic parm). Some of the wings were too crispy and dry for my liking. They do waffle fries, wished it was salted more but that is an easy fix

I like having a solid rotation of wing spots around the Metro and saw CD's getting love in the Westword recently. Not really nearby, but I was in the area today and we stopped in for takeout. Great choice!Staff were friendly and prices were a welcome surprise. Lunch specials run every day. I got the eight-wing special with fries and drink for about the same price as just eight wings from a spot further up Parker Road. Win. The well-prepped wings fall in the middle of the size spectrum and hit the spot.We were boring today and had only three sauces. "Hot garlic" emerged a clear winner, not as hot as garlicky, but delicious. Medium buffalo was runny and mild was exactly that.While waffle fries aren't my thing, these were at least as good as those that come with a statement of "my pleasure." Kid's chicken tenders disappeared faster than the wings for junior.It did take a really long time for our food. Place was empty. Factor that in and order ahead for wings that do the trick.

This place has become our Go To for game day wings. Every Sunday this football season we've ordered wings. After a few flops the first week we drove over to Aurora to try our CD's. We haven't gone anywhere else since. They have an insane amount of sauces but the best part is being able to mix them. You can combine sauces for no extra charge and experiment with new flavors. The cooks are awesome because you always find a couple extra in your box. We place our order online and it's always ready to go on time, hot and fresh. The different variety of fry dust is also killer. There's so many options that this place never gets boring. Also having the options like extra crispy and swimming in sauce has been amazing. Hopefully the one in Parker opens soon!

The girl cashier up front was short and terse with us as soon as we stepped in. It seemed as though she had more important things to do and later found out it was socializing with her coworkers. We saw some regulars show up when some of the people behind the counter addressed them by their first names and heard "Don't worry about it. We got you." They left before we got our food so not sure if they phoned in an order or something. Just didn't sit right.About 15 minutes later we got our food. Brought it home and chowed down. Mozzarella sticks and buffalo wings were great! I ate 3 mozzarella sticks while they were hot and the cheese was nice and somewhat stretchy. Love the Red Gold sauce too. I know it's nothing homemade but definitely did the trick. Buffalo wings were a fantastic combination of spicy, taste, vinegar, flavor and temperature.I would certainly return for the food alone but wouldn't think to hang around and eat. There was an odd musty smell and bathroom cleaner that wafted through the air. Reminded me of the halls of grade school when the janitor did a half ass job of mopping the floors with month old mop water.. Regardless, our experience with the food was great. I'll probably phone in my order next time.

Came here to try the notorious buffalo ranch garlic or BRG wings and holy cow they were delicious. I've been back twice in a week now because I enjoyed them so much. While I did get some blue cheese I didn't need it because the sauce is that good! The service was fantastic, the store is clean and maintained well. I will absolutely be back again soon, thanks to the team here!

Tldr; it was just okay, but pricey. To start, I'll state that this review is based on takeout, and I personally have never dined in. Wings (bone-in) were okay, on the smaller side but had decent flavor. My bone to pick was with the fries, I ordered the Straight Cut Large Fry and what we got was a really measly order of fries. The box it was packaged in was less than half full, and I really cannot justify the $5.85 for a portion of fries that was honestly closer to a McDonalds small size of fries. The food wasn't anything that stood out, nor was it bad. However, for the price you pay you may be better off ordering elsewhere. I certainly will not go out of my way to order takeout here with the small portions and high prices. I will note the employees were friendly when I came in to pick up the order.

If I come here again, I'm definitely ordering ahead of time, it took a little too long just walking in. We took our wings to go after a long wait (weird, employees friends who came in after us got their food before us) and the wings were good. Well, tasted good at least. But the spicy bbq ones smelled like fish so that was odd. Still, I'm a sucker for wings so I would come back and hope that the wings don't smell like fish.

I've never in my entire life had to wait so long for an order to be completed. Absolutely pathetic. It is definitely a cell phone dead zone and the Wi-Fi didn't work and it was all said and done, my order was not completed properly. It was incorrect. I am 100% dissatisfied. You forgot my side of mango habanero for these dry ass wings!!
