Cassidy's Sports Grill

Picked this spot because it was local. Good little local spot. The food was so amazing but the service wasn't the best. It took a bit of time to finally get a menu. We ordered the French dip, fish and chips, kids Mac n cheese, kids chicken tenders, and kids spaghetti and meatball. The fries were great! The chips they have are really good too. Fish batter was phenomenal. The French dip was spectacular. Tenders were good and so was meatball. The real star I feel was the kids Mac n cheese. For sure was expecting the normal Kraft. Nope! This was legit Mac n cheese and it was sooo good and cheesey. U can tell it's where locals come for good food. Again, if u have the patients it's worth it. Really good.

The mushroom Swiss burger is the best. I keep coming back for more. Budget prices friendly people, sitting at bar you can find Crying Wolf drinking red wine.

What I love about Cassidy's is that it is exactly what it should be, a great neighborhood bar/restaurant! Great food (the burgers are the best!) and super friendly service. Great bar, pool table and a shaded outdoor area in the summer. And absolutely NO pretentious "tude"!

We honestly weren't expecting much, but everything was delicious! We got fried pickles to share, green chili mac and cheese for me was a 10/10 and he got wings. We were surprised by the fair prices and big portions. We want to come back asap!

Every time we go, they are busy, but today I'm done with them. I just called to ask if they have live music the first time i called, they picked up and just hung the phone up. So i tried one more time and a guy answered and yelled were F***ing busy quit calling!!! Don't go to this dive bar, Bad Food, Terrible service. I can't wait till someone decent comes to town and opens up a good bar and puts them out of business.

Went to Cassidy's for lunch yesterday, the place was quite busy. We had a party of 5. At 12:10, we ordered 3 fish and chips and 2 hamburgers. Around 12:45 our waitress told us our food should be coming out shortly. She told us the same a couple more times between 12:45 & 1. Called her to our table and told her we had a tee time at the local golf course. She checked with the cook and a couple of minutes brought the 3 fish & chips and said the burgers would be out shortly. At 1:10 I told our waitress that I was leaving and couldn't no longer wait for my hamburger, and I wasn't going to pay for food I didn't get to eat. The cook/manager came out to talk to us. Instead of addressing the issue, he was very rude and dropped a couple of "F" bombs. As a side note, the fish & chips were fish sticks and not appetizing, and the fries were greasy. The 3 that ordered them didn't eat them. This was not our 1st time having lunch at Cassidy's, but I can assure you it was our last. If I had a choice, I wouldn't even give it a 1star rating, they don't deserve it.

I want to love Cassidy's as a Johnstown resident. The food is great. However every single time I go in there the service is absolutely terrible and there's usually only one person working. Went in with my girlfriend Wednesday night and there was one bartender/waitress. We asked her for a drink and she said " you are going to have to wait." Not wanting to do Rask her anything again we waited 30 minutes to ask if we could order dinner and her response was "No she was too busy." We were afraid to ask her for anything she was so frazzled. When it was time to go I had to ask her for a box 4 different times. She said "I heard you the first time." if you like good food, terrible service and a fear to ask the server for anything this is your place!
