Cafe Typica

Love trips when I'm staying with a friend and they get to show me all their local spots. This was one of them. Walking distance from her house, this cute little neighborhood spotThe owner is a personality for sure and the staff are all very friendly. Dog friendly and he has funny tshirts on the wall for sale. Ex) a shirt with a photo of the owner in the middle with "violated osha protocol" or something along those lines. It's a tiny little space, with a pretty small menu - just the simplest of things. I got my usual vanilla iced latte and no complaints from meAlso, the prices are outstanding.

Gem of a coffee shop. Roast their beans in house and the shots were pulled perfectly. 80% is in the beans and they nailed it. Loved the friendliness as well as the cool interior as well. Visited earlier in the year while it was snowing - quite a cozy spot!

After consulting Yelp for a coffee shop walking distance from my hotel, I decided that I should give Cafe Typica a try, and was really glad that I did. It's not very large, but it seems like the type of place I would visit if I lived nearby. The staff was super friendly and they had a small selection of pastries. The coffee was really good, too!

It's so cute in there! Very small, when I went there were 4 others waiting in line and I had to lean against the door. However, the service and vibes definitely make up for the size! The two workers behind the counter were so friendly, and their dog was just hanging around by a table. The dog came over to me and I had a little petting session while I waited for my drink. I got an iced vanilla latte and a slice of coffee cake. So happy this is in my neighborhood!

I supported this local business every day they were open during this visit to Denver. Both Matt and Taylor are very friendly and they both make an excellent mocha. My wife enjoyed her lattes too.I expect to support Cafe Typica on my next Denver visit. I recommend you visit them to grab your next coffee.

I met a friend here for the first time this morning after reading the yelp reviews and was glad I did. The coffee was excellent (they roast and sell their own beans), the barista (Payton) was a pleasure to chat with and the outside seating was nice as well (plenty of shade). It's small and sort of 'no frills' and I didn't see much to eat (?) but didn't care as I was looking for a good coffee shop that's not a chain and this one fits the bill.

Love love love Cafe Typica! They sell a variety of coffee beans from all over the world. Their lattes are fabulous. Matt, the owner runs the place and he knows his coffee very well.They have a medley of flavors you can add on to your drink. They also sell teas, smoothies, frappes, cold drinks, baked goods such as cookies, breads, croissants as well as coffee making gadgets. I simply go for the great coffee. I've tried three different flavors of their Costa Rican coffee and they all have been fantastic! Definitely a regular customer now.Five stars all around

Stopped in from a Google search. Great service and iced americano was delicious. Recommend coming in here instead of a chain coffee place. Will be back again!
