Cafe Rio Fresh Modern Mexican

Alright, so first off I love Cafe Rio. I grew up on the west coast and frequented this restaurant. I live in Orlando now and I miss it terribly and CONSTANTLY.This location was alright - I walked in right when they opened and really appreciated that they opened at 10:30 because then I could make it to my flight out on time. So shoutout to the early hours, I'm sure it's super helpful for the business around here too.Everything was great except I will knock the pork which I'm sad about because that's the best part of the meal! For real, the sweet pork is usually incredible. Today I was a little annoyed with it because the pieces were HUGE. Maybe it's because I came too early and it was less shredded because of that? Idk, but I literally had to saw them with a fork and knife, which I've never seen before at a Cafe Rio.Still a solid four stars though, and I'd come back in a heartbeat.

I was looking for food close to the hotel . This cafe rio was so clean inside and the salad was well made they did not scrimp ! Service was very friendly and efficient. Good job representing

This restaurant was pretty quiet on a Friday evening. Staff was wearing masks and it was empty enough that social distancing was easy to follow. The food options here are solid. You have a choice of various entrees with different cheeses, sauces and meats. If you come here and you can eat pork, get the sweet pork barbacoa - I say this as someone who usually doesn't choose pork. You should also get the horchata if you can have dairy - I say this as someone who doesn't usually drink my calories (unless it's boozy). I got the enchiladas with rice and beans. The food was delicious but the portion size seems to have decreased recently, which was disappointing. I also felt like the sour cream serving, which is an upcharge was also lacking. Regardless, it's a good meal and if you join the rewards program, they regularly send free stuff which is a nice bonus.

Food is okay! The pico is wet and loose, super watery. The act of ordering your food there has always been like a deli in a busy city. They "know what you want" before you do. If they actually put cheese on their nachos ...and had one good salsa, this place would score much higher in my realm.

Never heard of this place before. Was totally caught off guard. It reminds me a lot of Chipotle, but better. The ordering process for me was confusing, and I felt like I was being rushed. I probably would have experimented more, but again I felt I was being rushed. The price was a lot more than I expected. Turns out I ordered carne asada for my meat and there was quite an upcharge for that. After I got my food I was looking at the menu and got a better understanding of it.The burrito itself was quite good. Not sure if they had any hot sauce available, as I didn't see any at the the table or by the drink area. Not sure if I will be back. Like I said the food was good, but I was really uncomfortable with the way I felt rushed to order and I definitely don't like spending around $35 for 2 burritos and 2 drinks.

Delicious, as usual! The sweet pork burrito is amazing! The ingredient portions were very generous! Everyone working tonight was very friendly!

Worst meal of the decade, so far. Order a veggie burrito and you'll be served a pound of rice and beans. And they won't even be tasty. I took two bites and returned it for a refund. Management has a lot of b*lls to serve a meal like that.

Quick service fresh Mexican food at a steal! I love this Cafe Rio.The food is fresh, service is quick, and it's a nice alternative to the other two (Chipotle & Qdoba). I love the enchiladas, the beans are vegetarian and the mint limeade is so refreshing. When your out running errands this is the best on-the-go flavorful Mexican option.

I've never thought much of any Cafe Rio. The food is dry, lacks flavor and is pretty subpar. The line can either be slow or fast depending on whose working. If I'm desperate for something to eat, I will come here, but if I'm looking for flavor and goodness, I'd skip coming here.

I ordered my food at 8:30. Order was supposed to be ready by 8:50. I came in at 9:10, the worker asked for my name/order, retrieved the ticket from his machine, and casually told me that I hadn't been started but that he would be getting to it shortly. Unbelievable
