I love to try a new place each night when traveling...but that Sean keeps me coming back to Cap Grille. He really needs to stop being so awesome, so I can try more restaurants in this darn city LMAO! We wanted to eat across the street but didn't like the ambiance so came here, it was Sunday evening and place was pretty full. We didn't make a reservation, and they had a nice table for us. Service was outstanding, guy was speaking half Italian and half English, which was pretty cool. We appreciated that even though we don't speak Italian. They brought fresh bread that was warm and very delicious. They also had a long wine list, so definitely can find what you like. We started with a salad (artichoke and mozzarella), was very well done and unique. We both had different types of seafood pasta, even though we were told that seafood in Colorado is not good we decided to order anyway, and we were pleased to have a great meal. Place is super pleasant and modern and also great location. Definitely recommend"

"So for the cost of dining here, our waiter was extremely blunt, not fun, seemed to not know what he was doing, and had other waiters picking up his slack and making him frustrated. Some of our party didn't like their stakes at all, but we had also been there a long time and didn't like interacting with our waiter. We elected to not make a fuss and leave. The restaurant is very clean and so is the restroom, is is a quiet restaurant which is very nice. The food isn't that great though considering the amount of money you're shelling out... My lobster and fillet were good, but nothing special. The chef also made a medium rare practically rare, which I did asked to have seared and temped to proper medium rare core temperature. Over all I don't think I'd come back here when Del Frisco's is so close..."

"I was excited to hear that they are farm-to-table, and they go to Italy every year to get inspired. The inspiration shows in the food. The ambiance was nice, people were dressed up, rare for Denver, the decor was elegant yet simple, which is what I love, it's all about the food. They have a huge wine list! The service was professional, timely, and knowledgeable. Our waitress knew all the dishes, and wines and was able to suggest great pairings for me. That said, there were a few misses in the food. We started with the crudo, which was delicious, well-balanced, and a great sharing portion to kick off the meal. Insalata Primavera tasted like spring on a plate, the produce was fresh and delicious, like it was just picked. We then shared the Agnolotti del plin, which was delicate and delicious, but it came out cold. If we weren't hungry, we would have sent it back. There is no reason for pasta to be cold when it's served. Then we decided to get the veal tenderloin, this was a huge miss. It was kinda bland, overcooked, and also lukewarm. It's a shame, veal can melt in your mouth and I expected something different. I also didn't care for the presentation, it felt boring rather than creative and playful. We switched it for the duck and were not disappointed. I appreciate that the waitress was there to check in at the right time and immediately offered to switch the dish for us. Lastly, we got the chocolate olive oil cake. This desert was more beautiful than tasty. I didn't taste much olive oil in it. I would recommend this place for a fun dinner or date night, and will definitely be back. They have a few outside tables, but unfortunately 6th can be a bit noisy."

"Nice way to start Restaurant Week. The Bindery was busy on this first night so I was glad I made reservations. Got a nice seat by the window to overlook downtown Denver. Very filling menu with a wine pairing option that was reasonably priced. First course of asparagus with beef carpaccio was nice. The lamb oso buco was an enormous portion. I don't care for meat on the bone but the guajlillo sauce with this dish was very tasty. Best dish of the night - dessert. Lemon "was a cake and now dreams" did not disappoint. A flavorful dish of lemon curd with moist cake topped with meringue. I will go back just for this dish!"

"The planets must've aligned last Wednesday or we missed a full moon or something. The location in downtown is good but this location in DTC is great! Kevin was our waiter and took care of us from beginning to end. He struck up conversation, made suggestions and was ever so confident with pairing wine with the ladies in our group.The food was on point like the service. Meatball as an appetizer followed by a salad and everyone got pizza for themselves. It worked out and we had a great time catching up. Wish there was more to add but this is as top notch as it gets! Both dishes came with rice. I got my Mango Lassi for free because I checked in on Yelp! I like my lassi thick and not too sweet. This fits the bill perfectly! We also had an order of naan. The service was awesome! Friendly and polite. Everything was cooked fresh and served piping hot. I like this place.So I don't understand the low rating. I know they could use some colors on their walls. They need to somehow brighten those walls or decorate it with colorful stuff. They have a good-sized patio. Try them if you're in the area. You might end up loving this place!"

We found this bistro and wine bar with a decent menu that has flatbread and burgers, though they are a little pricey I think it's apropos for the downtown area.The service was fine but a little short. It was still happy hour but they didn't offer us happy hour, though they did to the next table. We were too tired to argue. Ordered some spicy burger with cream cheese and it was amazing. Really hit the spot. Their cocktails are tasty. The cherry drink that came in a tall glass was too easy to drink at $15 each. The dining room is intimate, with nooks and crannies for small parties. I asked the server if the garlic fries come out crispy. He said they did but I asked for him to request a new dish. They were bad. They should have never left the kitchen. The pic included has the fresh fries that were perfect. Good spot for a decent meal in downtown. Just don't expect much."

I appreciated that they were open for lunch on a Saturday and didn't close between lunch and dinner. It was hard for us to find a good sushi place that was open for a late lunch but I'm glad this place was! Delicious. I really liked the Shrek roll. Unique and flavorful. The space was nice too. "When I stumbled upon Range while looking for a new place to try for a pre-show dinner, it checked all my initial boxes - great reviews, good-looking pictures, and (above all) a stellar menu. I made my reservation immediately.Fast forward a few weeks to the night of the reservation. My friends and I arrived and were promptly seated. First impressions: love the interior; perfect mix of elegant and cozy. The first thing to snag our attention on the menu was the drinks, specifically the cocktails. So many compelling options! It's one of those places where you're reading through the menu and you think "that looks good...oh, that one looks good, too...oh wait, THIS one looks good, TOO!" and so on and so forth. After much deliberation, I got the Buttered Rum Negroni and thought it was divine.We settled on the Baked Camembert for an app (delicious, loved all the little accoutrements), and then got the Moulard Duck Breast, Mediterranean Pasta, and Warm Brussels Sprout Salad w/ Salmon for dinner. Safe to say, all three of us were pretty enchanted with our dishes! My sister loved the olives and artichokes in her pasta, and my friend who got the salad raved about it. The duck (my dish) was cooked perfectly (so tender and juicy and delicious) and the scalloped potatoes were a perfect side.Overall, we really liked this place! The location is ideal if you're walking from the DCPA for a pre-show dinner, but also definitely worth a visit, regardless!"

"I'm only mad I did try this place sooner. Everything we ate was phenomenal and the service was excellent. The bread was included and came with olive oil and balsamic. I'd recommend this place based on just the bread, it was a fresh, well-seasoned, flavorful focaccia. We also had the burrata, lobster ravioli, pesto gnocchi, and tiramisu crème brûlée. I get the impression that it was all made from scratch- I'd give every single thing we ate a 10/10. We've had a really hard time finding an Italian restaurant that has both good quality AND quantity. We've found it's either high quality, creative, from-scratch and tiny portions or low quality, boring food in large portions. Vista vino is the sweet spot. Their dishes are creative and flavorful, made with quality ingredients, and you really get the value in what you pay for. We are excited to go back and try out more of their menu."

"While in Denver for a conference, I met up with one of my friends who I've known since 1989. He loves to go out and when I asked where we should meet, he said "I know a place with great cocktails" and he wasn't kidding. He also knows I love trains and grand train stations so the thought of going to a cocktail bar in a train station was a slam dunk. Almost everything about this place is outstanding. The service from start to finish was impeccable. Everyone was so smooth and professional, there was never a wrong note. From the host to our servers (we had one whose shift ended mid-meal and the transition to our new server was like silk) it was outstanding. The ambiance is great too...up on a balcony above the main waiting room in Union Station, you have great views and you can feel the energy but there's also a calm about it. In some train station dining places, it can get cacophonous...I'm thinking of the old Michael Jordan Steakhouse in Grand Central Terminal. But the Cooper Lounge is lively but also mellow, if that makes sense.Drinks are great. I had planned on having one and ended up having three! They're pricey for sure but you're paying for good liquor and they're deftly made. My first was the Smoke and Spades (Iwai 45 Whiskey, Lapsang Souchong Tea, Lemon, Soda) which was good but more of a day drink from my perspective. I switched to the Cooper Lounge Old Fashioned and I loved how they asked if I wanted bourbon, rye or tequila (rye please!). That was an excellent drink.They serve some light bites and we had some baked brie (Focaccia, Danish Brie, Black Garlic, Roasted Tomato, Red Onion Jam) which was really dry and the brie was hard rather than melty. We also had duck croquettes which were good. But food isn't the point of this place, it's the cocktails and the service and on those points, the Cooper Lounge excels. If you've been to the Campbell in Grand Central, it's a similar vibe, although because it's in a more open space, it feels lighter and airier. It also ain't cheap! 100% recommend this place for a drink in Denver."

"Great restaurant with friendly people and yummy food. Been here and ordered takeout several times. I usually always order saag paneer (palak paneer) when I go to Indian/Nepalese restaurants. The one they have here is really good and I love getting hot. The butter chicken, vindaloo, and tikka are also good options. Not crowded at all on a Friday night. We got cheese garlic naan for the first time and I couldn't really tell the difference between that one an normal garlic naan. Good ambiance overall."

It's been a few years since I have walked through the door.The place is bigger with an additional private room as they took over the space next door this also includes the bigger front bar area. Still the dimly lit white tablecloth place I fondly remember. Ambiance here is everything for sure. Dimly lit, attentive but not overly intrusive service, low background music adds to the evening and not overpowers conversation. Wine list is on an iPad which is fun. Still the food I remember and will now crave again for weeks. This is definitely a Daye night , special occasion kind of place. Go and give yourself a nice night out."

"We stayed at the Jacquard hotel in Cherry Creek North and dined at their restaurant, Narrative for dinner during our stay. The place was packed, and we were seated in the main dining room. The aesthetic of the restaurant was airy with clean lines and a white bookshelf wall display was the main focal point.Our server Mariah was fantastic! She recommended each item we ordered and knew the menu inside and out. The Lobster Corndogs were served with jalapeño hot sauce & smoked pepper honey.The Tuna Poke was made with avocado, sesame ponzu, green onion, yuzu kusho, & furikake rice crackers. This starter was fresh & bright - the tender fish, creamy avocado, and delicately crisp rice crackers had a really good texture combination.The Caesar Salad was made with romaine, shaved pecorino, buttered panko, & cured egg yolk. This was one of the best Caesar salads we have had in Denver - the shaved pecorino generously coated each leaf of the crisp lettuce. The Braised Short Rib was made with mascarpone polenta, roasted mushrooms, hazelnut, & orange mustarda. The short rib was so tender it fell apart under our forks. It had a robust flavor of succulent beef and combined with the mascarpone polenta, it made for decadent bites.The Diver Scallops were made with butternut squash, parsnip, roasted apple, & cider gastrique."

A few days ago, a little past 9pm (on Christmas Eve to be exact), on my way to go to a friend's house, I stopped here to get me a few items. There was one group of people (the last diner of the night) that was finishing off their late night meal. Other than that, I appeared to be the last customer for the night. The lady that greeted me asked me if it was for a dine in or to-go (wonder if she would have accepted me had I said dine in? Not sure.) I immediately responded, "To-go, please."Like I stated earlier I only wanted a few items (a few sides.) I got me the pork dumplings and the veggies egg rolls. The lady said it'd be 5 min.While waiting, I looked around the dining room and took a few photos. Nicely dimmed lights, each dining table was neatly arranged/set. Very clean and inviting. I like the bright red napkins. This restaurant appears to have received several accolades in the past (there are frames magazine articles on one of the walls.) As promised, it was about 5 minutes before my food was ready. A different lady gave me a bag that contained my food with a nice smile. Service is good here.I didn't eat the food until next day. Sometimes there is a huge difference between eating it fresh or a day old so I'll be fair with this review based on the fact that I ate it when the food was half day old. Overall, both of them were good. To be frank, when it comes to dumplings or potstickers, I prefer them to be pan-fried to be deep fried. I wonder if they ever make them pan-fried or even steamed. This will be a little request I'll be sure to make upon my next visit for sure. The veggie egg rolls were a bit small for the price. Tasted good however. I really need to try their main dishes in the future. Then I'll be able to elaborate more on their food in a real sense. Until then my hon/frank rating shall be 3-stat."

I also adore that the change in ownership corrected the previously heinously undercooked/raw French fries - they were fluffy and crispy. But the spicy shrimp were overly-coated and undersauced. Additionally, both burgers were horrifically overcooked. He ate the Swiss burger served medium-rare but ordered rare. I ate three bites of the medium-well salty-hockey puck that was ordered medium-rare and had them throw the rest away. Meanwhile, the do-nothing manager checked on the table of three who ordered enough food for ten people THREE times (before they broke dishware) and ignored us completely. After five years, that was likely our last visit ever. For $75/pp, we can have better food in a more hospitable place."

Vegetarian options were some, but vegan not. Service was quite slow, which is part of the reason I ended up staying out in a night that I wasn't quite dressed for. The place struck me as an adequate one trading on location, and it definitely is an area worth visiting."

"Taking a cooking class at Uncorked is a great way to to mix it up for date night. My husband and I love cooking together, but we don't get much of a chance to do it at home since one of us takes the lead on cooking while the other one is busy chasing around a toddler. We signed up for Along the Shores of the Mediterranean, which has a menu that would be easy to replicate at home. Best part was that the course was well timed. We had the opportunity to prepare almost every dish except the dessert on our own. There was even time to sit down and enjoy the meal while chatting with new people. And don't forget about those gorgeous mountain views! Our menu consisted of the following:+White Wine Steamed Mussels with Tomatoes, Olives and Basil+ Grilled Halloumi with Rosemary- Grape Walnut Relish and Baguette+ Cod with Pancetta, Artichokes, and Olives+ Lemon Olive Oil Cake with Whip CreamGiven that it's only a three-hour class, the learning part consisted of a very brief refresh on knife skills and cooking technique. "So I've been wanting to try this place for quite some time, mostly due to another Yelp member's checkins. I always thought I would drive by it but it is tucked in a retail center. After finding parking I wandered into coziness. So cozy I thought the chef might come out of the kitchen! Con te Partirò was playing above my head. When it was time to order, I went with the meat lasagna and it came with a caesar salad, which was perfect. The bread was also hearty and fresh. The meat lasagna arrived to Strangers in the Night playing; however, I was not a stranger to lasagna and I will attest to this lasagna being one of the best I've eaten. For dessert, which I do not order often, I went with the tiramisu. It arrived to the song, "I did it my way!" To better describe dessert the song title needs to change to, "They did it my way!" It was a perfect ending. The service was perfect and not overbearing. My server was very polite and attentive. Dishes were cleared appropriately with the exception of one minor hiccup. The butter was cleared with a piece of bread left in the basket. Fortunately, like bocce ball there are no deductions for this. If find yourself in Parker stop by this restaurant and enjoy some great food. If you're a wine drinker it looks like they have some great selections for you!"

It was nice to see that our company ranged from very old people using walkers, to families with children, to young single friends and couples. Everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves and loving the food.The waitstaff was plentiful so that everything moved fast if necessary, but one never felt rushed. Our waitress was knowledgeable about all of the menu items and gave good advice. She was very attentive, but didn't hover and never interrupted our conversations to check " if we were happy." Excellent service!of course all of that, while delightful, is icing on the cake. The real question is if the food is good. It's delicious! Flavorful and subtle. My companion and i both had the oysters Rockefeller to start. They were perfect. Subtle flavoring where one could still taste the lightly cooked tender oyster. id like to eat those every day. That light touch combined with a deep flavor profile was also evident in my shatchuka and my companion's butter poached crab eggs Benedict. The menu was varied; there were lots of other selections that were tempting.i would go back to the Greenbriar any time, and highly recommend it."

"First off, a shout out to our server, Elle. She did a great job waiting on us! We had two toddlers with us and we were also celebrating an adult birthday, and she really took good care of all of us. The food was really good! We shared wings, loaded fries, a platter of turkey and brisket. I recommend all of them! They also had a good kids meal so we were all happy. The happy birthday pecan pie was delicious with plenty to share with the table. Nice atmosphere. We enjoyed everything."
