The food is pretty dang good and bartenders/servers are always awesome, And for once they actually TELL customers about added gratuity! So many spots are so sneaky about it & try to capitalize on greed. Appaloosa does NOT! Good on you all! Their Caesar salad dressing g is excellent! Yes, it comes with a bit of anchovy and it's perfect. This dressing has anchovies as a main ingredient, it surprises me how many people aren't aware of that fact. Another fun fact - Caesar salad was not created where you might think. It was invented in Tijuana, Mexico. But, the chef was Italian so there ya go. They have a nice carpaccio dish too. Oh and a super yum Cooperstown Cabernet barrel finished Rye bourbon whiskey that is to die for. Recommend allll the way!"

Always great food and a great experience...but the Denver Cap Grille is beyond special...and no lie...it's all because of Sean. I'm in town for two weeks. I love to try a new place each night when traveling...but that Sean keeps me coming back to Cap Grille. He really needs to stop being so awesome, so I can try more restaurants in this darn city LMAO! His energy is infectious. I'm here on business, and after a long day of work I can't help but crave the amazing energy and laughter I receive when I park at the bar. The cook on my filet was definitely hitting the med-rare I requested. My husband's ribeye was rare right in the center. Good thing he did not mind it. The ends of Ribeye definitely hit temps though. With it being so packed and ofc highly rated (on Google), I had higher expectations. I was so shocked with my first bite that the steak (filet perry 4oz) was so salty. I felt like I was drinking ocean water. Fine, its a busy day. I tried the mash potatoes that it came with..... yup salty. I am not sure what happened there. Dessert was good. Choc Crunch Tower -- tasted like the Ikea choc crunch cake if you have ever tried it. Super sweet. And you cannot go wrong with the cheesecake. Service was great! Attentive waiter, I do appreciate that. We did end up waiting over 30 mins past our reservation time which is okay since it was Valentine's Day. Cocktails -- nothing to rave about, decent. Their Berry Mule was my favIf we ever go back, I would totally try their Pork Chop. We had they "famous" pork bites and that was *chef kiss*"

"I was impressed with Elway's. I came with a group of friends on the recommendation of one friend's father and we were not disappointed.The restaurant is lovely and one particular thing I liked about it was that it was lively but not deafening. For some reason, every high end steakhouse in NYC is so loud and filled with finance & tech bros trying to out-testosterone each other than you can't hear the person next to you. Elway's, by contrast, although filled with the Colorado equivalent of tech/finance bros-- but wearing cowboy hats-- had a good energy level but I could hear people across the table from me. Service was top-notch from start to finish. Scott was our waiter and he was exceptional...one member of our party has particular likes and dislikes and he handled everything with grace and aplomb. Matching the service was the food and drink. My rye old fashioned was spectacular. For food, I started by splitting a Caesar salad and that was wonderful. Then my 12 oz NY Strip came out and it was perfectly prepared and delicious. The sides were great too, especially the mashed potatoes, asparagus and spinach. I wasn't thrilled about the brussels sprouts as I prefer mine a little crisper but that's not the way they were prepared so I can't fault them. For dessert, my husband and I split a key lime pie that had a special anniversary message on it. It was a nice surprise and the tartness of the pie was a great coda to the meal. This was an exceptional meal from start to finish. I'd definitely go back...especially if someone else was paying because it is not cheap. But if you want a memorable place for a special occasion, you can't go wrong with Elway's."

"I've dined here a couple of times for work related customer dinners and I'm very impressed with the whole experience. The restaurant is very spacious, bright with contemporary decor but with warm touches throughout. The service was impressive on both occasions. The staff is very accommodating and knows their menu, food preparation and detailed ingredients for each. We were greeted with a smile at the entry on both occasions.The food is delicious, fresh, consistent and of high value for the price. It's also a well rounded menu with not only high quality steaks but other entrees that I found delicious. My Colorado Lamb Shank with Farrotto, Feta, Snap Peas and Pepper Jam was absolutely amazing. It was super tender and flavorful. The Hickory Grilled Salmon was also well prepared with the salmon moist. On my second visit, I had the Ribeye with the Herb Chimichurri. The temperature was perfect to order. The cocktails are strong and delicious, I loved my Mayor cocktail, a resemblance to an old fashioned. I would definitely recommend this place for any occasion."

The restaurant is very clean and so is the restroom, is is a quiet restaurant which is very nice. The food isn't that great though considering the amount of money you're shelling out... My lobster and fillet were good, but nothing special. The chef also made a medium rare practically rare, which I did asked to have seared and temped to proper medium rare core temperature. Over all I don't think I'd come back here when Del Frisco's is so close..."

The fried calamiri came with a surprise bed of healthy beans! Less guilt for eating this appetizer. We were then treated to complimentary homemade fresh hot bread!We ordered the most delicious fish dish I have ever had. The roasted miso sea bass was tender, flaky and not over cooked. I selected the #2 Plate which is a half rack of ribs with a side of pulled pork, a side of beans and coleslaw and French Fries. The portions were outstanding. There was enough food that 2 people could easily share it and be fully satisfied. Our table also ordered hamburgers, wings, Mac-n-cheese and chicken all of which was delicious. If you have a large party or just a couple looking for a great place to relax and have a great time and wonderful food and beverage then the Hickory House in Parker is where you want to be."

Once seated (by the Manager) we were ask if the night was for any occasion, at which we replied it was a "Make-up Valentine's Day as we had been sick the week prior." He returned with a handful of rose petals and neatly decorated our table to spell a 'V.' Our server, Alyssa was top notch. She never missed a beat with listening, offering, and being sure that we always had any and everything we wanted. The drinks not only were good quality and mixture, but presented beautifully too. The mystic point oysters were by far the best we've ever had, and we contemplated ordering more! The Caesar salad had just the right amount of dressing with the fresh black pepper complimenting it well. The filet, (although my judgment was biased because my Husband knocks any steak at a restaurant out of the park,) was clearly a beautiful cut of meat and the outer was charred just the right amount. My husband ordered the wagyu steak and it could not have tasted better! We complimented our meal with delicious asparagus and Alyssa surprised us with au gratin potatoes that melt in your mouth! Overall it was a fantastic experience and Valentine's was better celebrated after the holiday, with the utmost amazing experience!"

I had mentioned in the reservation that it was my dad's birthday and they had confetti on the table, with a birthday menu and gave him a free birthday dessert. Talk about above and beyond! The front entrance was a tad weird with the curtain but I loved the vibe in the restaurant. Great for an intimate meal or business function. Valet is right out front as well. Shana was our waitress, and she was amazing! Gave us a meat tour to explain the different cuts. My parents aren't big drinkers, so this meal was all about the food. The bone marrow was quite plentiful, I didn't need a started, but I did start with the French onion soup and was stuffed. Hands down the best item we had was the petite filet and the scalloped potatoes! For three people having a starter, with three mains and two side would be enough. We had two starters and three sides which was alot and we had a ton of leftovers. *Love the fact the steak is not cooked in butter!We were very impressed and I plan on coming back for special occasions. Overall Strong 5/5 stars!"

Shannon was the first person I met when I sat at the bar. I've met three more bartenders. Everyone was welcoming. They all make sure they know your first name. They have a lot of regulars and I understand why. They make sure you are taken care of. I've tried a few of their dishes. Their steaks and chicken dishes were very good. I was impressed for a chain restaurant. They offer many sides to go with their entrées. I particularly like the green beans, steak fries, and even the red chili. The stuffed potatoes are huge! The steaks were perfectly grilled and I added mushrooms onions to it. The horseradish is delicious as well. I've tried their NY Strip, Porterhouse, and Sirlion so far. The ambiance is a Texas Roadhouse style setting. It's very loud though. Lot's of people there and it gets busy. I had to wait 3 hours to sit at the bar on a Saturday night. I still was served well. I would recommend reservations any day of the week."

As a side, I asked for the "Flash Fried Green Beans". I'm not a lover of fried foods but when it was explained to me what that meant, I went for it.Not coated in dough but just quickly dunked. Now I am a fan. The green beans had a lovely seasoning to them and the crispness was very satisfying.The manager, Nick, stopped by my table, an unexpected thrill. I loved telling him how happy I was. He was professional, personable and took his time to listen to me. Kudos to him for running a well-oiled business.The finishing touch I had later. A "Pecan Pie Bread Pudding", what? I live close so the ice cream that came with it didn't melt. But, I put it all away and sampled it hours later, heated it up and was bowled over. What a great combo with luscious vanilla ice cream as the finishing touch.Prices, by the way, were pretty reasonable, presentations perfect and everything was very well made. Their Ranch dressing was to write home for (I just wanted a sample). I ordered a salad, which arrived fresh and crisp. The Caesar dressing they used was absolutely the best I've had in, oh, I dunno, forever! I ate three bites of the medium-well salty-hockey puck that was ordered medium-rare and had them throw the rest away. Meanwhile, the do-nothing manager checked on the table of three who ordered enough food for ten people THREE times (before they broke dishware) and ignored us completely. After five years, that was likely our last visit ever. For $75/pp, we can have better food in a more hospitable place."

They provided a kids menu without having to request one. I ordered the prime rib medium rare with raw horseradish and a loaded potato. It was cooked to temp and seasoned well. The piece I had was rightly marbled with enough but not too much fat. My daughter ordered the sirloin and enjoyed almost the entire thing. Texas Roadhouse is not the fanciest steakhouse in town, but I almost always get exactly what I am expecting at a relatively reasonable price as far as steakhouses go."

Saddles and hats are nicely displayed around the rooms along with lots of Western decor and artwork. What an impressive menu!! The focus is on beef, primarily their Cowboy Ribeye (personally my favorite cut of meat) which is dry aged in house and cooked to perfection, but other options like trout, chicken, shrimp are available with a good array of side dishes. We started off with escargot and shrimp cocktail appetizers which were really well done! Most of our orders were the Cowboy or the filet and all were cooked perfectly and seasoned really well. I split a wedge salad with my colleague and it was really wonderful fresh and tasty. The blue cheese was incredible. My steak was beautifully grilled and tender as expected. I was not disappointed. Dessert options were many and we all shared a bite here and there to fully appreciate the fare. Amazing and attentive service by Ken for our party of 8 adults and the owner Dave popped by to say hello in true cowboy fashion; humble and quiet. I'd love to return during the summer as they have outdoor patio. What a gem!"

We had the fresh chips, onion-rings, pickles and the nachos, to start and these are on the Happy Hour menu as well. Nachos were piled high, the pickles were crisp and tart, the chips, hello who can turn down fresh chips! Delicious breading coats their onion-rings so that they're nice and crunchy, I dipped mine in the horseradish sauce, yummo!My entree was the duo burgers one beef burger and one bison burger slider with a side. I had the salad instead of fries for a $2 up charge but worth it as it was a good sized chopped salad and helped with the rich, very fresh butcher grade burger patty!Interesting fact I learned is that every thing is made fresh with a butchery onsite at all locations. Also top of their menus is their motto No microwaves. No freezers.No shortcuts. Only at Ted's! They live daily by this motto and the food quality is apparent!We had 15 in our group and at this location they could easily do a setup for 30 ppl. easily. at this location besides other seating Our servers Nicole and Megan were delightful and provided excellent service, kudos to both! The Bloomin' Shrimp was the highlight. So tasty, and fresh! Our kiddo's Mac n cheese was really great quality (spiral noodles cooked perfectly). I started with a salad and can you believe it the have French dressing. HahaThey call it sweet tomato dressing. My overall experience was perfect. Quiet at the bar tonight with sports on all 3 tv's.
