"Cherry Cricket, the famed black sheep of Cherry Creek, somehow still impresses after all these years. Hailed as one of Denver's best burger places, I'm shocked if anyone says they don't have an enjoyable burger here.When you see the legendary Duffy's sign you know you're in the right place. Entering the restaurant I've mostly received weird interactions upon entry. They do, in fact, seat you, but often times I've had bad luck and find myself waiting for an employee to seat us.There are plenty of dining rooms indoors like booths, community tables, and bar seating. But the Cricket is known for their massive outdoor patio. Part of it is covered underneath a gigantic tent set up, the other picnic table style seating overlooking the foot traffic of Cherry Creek.What to order at the Cricket? They do have some signature burgers they're known for that have won awards at burger festivals. The green chile relleno burger stands out because I don't know how they invented this concoction, but it's a beast of a burger that has DENVER written all over it.More often than not, the Cricket Burger is the pro move. A customizable half pound burger with the toppings of your choice. The one I had the other night was with American Cheese, Bacon, and Jalapeños. It was cooked perfectly, an undeniable beefy flavor. It was a damn memorable burger.Oh. And the frings (with ranch) are a MUST.The knock of the star just boils down to the restaurant being too big, which means occasionally you feel like the forgotten stepchild depending on if your section is busy or not. On multiple occasions the service has been incredibly slow. Other than that, I'll continue to support this Denver institution.Here's to another 50 years, Cricks!"

The TV setup was perfect for sports fans, with multiple screens showing a variety of games, which really elevated the experience.The food was average--not bad, but nothing special. Given how busy the place was, the service was decent, though understandably a bit slow.We ordered micheladas, but they didn't quite hit the mark. After talking to our waitress, she had the bartender make us another round, but they still weren't great. They definitely needed more Michelada mix to balance the flavor."

Our server was amazing and so pretty and even accommodating as we decided to sit outside on the patio after a few drinks.They have mariachi on Friday!! "Absolutely love this cute little spirit store. I like that it's downstairs so there's not too much traffic being upstairs in downtown Denver. The staff was absolutely amazing. "This was a change of pace from my normal restaurants. We decided to stop by a try out their food and beer. My wife really liked the chicken wings. It wasn't your normal fried wings that were dipped in sauce, she said the meat itself had taste. It was the same with the chicken fried steak. It didn't immediately look good but it was great. The special gravey really made it pop.There was a Nuggets game so the waitress was really busy. A bit difficult to get my beer and our food. Just a minor input. The parking was pretty bad. They share the lot with some other places and it filled up.As for the ambiance, it's a sports bar. Meant to be loud and crazy. If you can't handle it then go to Olive Garden."

"Love this British Pub. This is the place to watch footy! Came here on a Friday afternoon for some drinks and dinner. Don is such a gem. He gave us great recommendations and did mind to girly girls coming in. The fish and chips were awesome same with the burger! It all came out quickly and soaked up my alcohol. Prices were very fair! Two beers and two drinks were around 50$ including tip. It is a tad divey and dark which I love! But the food and service are way better than a typical "dive bar". The drinks are good, tons on tap. They do have a small outdoor patio as well. On my nights out I will definitely come back here. Overall, 5/5 experience. Highly recommend. Super enjoyable time."

"Wyman's has become my favorite watering hole! It's a Chicago sports bar with lots of TVs, 2 pool tables & a kitchen that serves up delicious thin crust pizza, deep dish, Chicago dogs & hoagies. It kinda has a dive bar feel too, which is my jam! They have daily food specials Mon-Thurs and they have happy hour twice daily.. and they even serve single slices late night! Chelsea the bartender is my favorite, she's sweet & so fun.. and she goes out of her way to make sure everyone is having a good time (even remembered us after our first time there). Mike & Sam are great too!The place is actually pretty spacious enough to be a bar & restaurant. There's 2 sides of the bar with probably 20ish barstools & like 15 tables. The pizza was on point! $22 for a large thin crust supreme pizza & it hit the spot, I loved the fresh jalapenos. I can't wait to try the other items. Wymans is my new go to.. while I love playing pool at Don's, it gets too crowded with 21 year olds & Wymans just has a better vibe & older crowd! Aaaand delicious food!!"

The drinks and specials are plentiful and the bartender was happy to change the tv to the game we were looking for. For bar food I was pleasantly surprised. The fried pickles came out super quick and they were piping hot. The Rueben (pictured) was delicious! Definitely our fave and will be ordering again next time. I also enjoyed that the Caesar wrap was toasted. The only thing I didn't love was the onion rings, but not a problem since I enjoyed the fries and know to get those next time."

You'll run into fans of your team and the other teams, but that is what makes the atmosphere fun! You'll get the thrill of looking at someone and with your eyes saying, "We are coming for you... on the _________!" (insert field, court, ring, horse, whatever event is on)Thanks to the Colts vs. Texans game, we discovered this. With a decent size party, I was curious how seating would work. Quickly, I learned there was no need to worry. It's open seating and there's lots of it, even a pretty big patio for a nice day. Our party easily found a spot in the fairly busy Stoney's. Our waitress may of been the MVP of the experience. She had a great sense of humor and handled our party of 12 with ease. She never missed a drink or food order, which always impresses me when you have a big party. There was a SHIP load of items ordered by our table. Maybe all the appetizers? Haha. I did not try them all, however, what caught my tastebuds the most was the Sweet Potato Fries. They had a sneaky blend of sugar, spice n' everything nice on them, and were the LEAD BACK who could have kept breaking my self-control. We'd definitely go back to Stoney's Uptown for a game!"

"We live 5 min away from Bookmakers Burgers, so we decided to give this place a try while watching the NBA finals. The restaurant itself is cozy yet spacious, dimly lit to make it more of a pub atmosphere. It wasn't busy at all, and we seated ourselves at the bar. The waiter was super friendly and gave us plenty of time to look over the menu. We started with mozzarella sticks, and they were not good at all. It literally came out 2 minutes after we placed an order and of course it wasn't cooked all the way through. It really seems like they just bought those frozen mozzarella sticks, threw them in the deep fryer and just served it right away. The mozzarella sticks were cold inside, and the marinara sauce was also served cold. Why put them on the menu if you're just gonna serve half-assed food?I ordered the bookmaker burger with bacon and my gf ordered the oddsmakers burger, both medium. The burgers came out as well done, the bacon was too chewy, almost as if I was biting off a piece of leather, and the buns were stale and hard. Overall, the food was ok, not great. Not sure if we will come back again, but I guess I'll update the review when that time comes."

First time here and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised at what a nice establishment they have. Family owned and operated, the lady owner came up and said hello. Super friendly, I was curious and had some questions. She showed me all the upgrades they are doing. The patio is very big, and they were setting up for live music that evening. The waitress lacked that fun personality, but she was attentive and did get the job done. I liked their happy hour drink special. Basically $1 off whatever you choose. Nice! Keeping it simple.
