"Cherry Cricket, the famed black sheep of Cherry Creek, somehow still impresses after all these years. Hailed as one of Denver's best burger places, I'm shocked if anyone says they don't have an enjoyable burger here. When you see the legendary Duffy's sign you know you're in the right place. Entering the restaurant I've mostly received weird interactions upon entry. They do, in fact, seat you, but often times I've had bad luck and find myself waiting for an employee to seat us.There are plenty of dining rooms indoors like booths, community tables, and bar seating. But the Cricket is known for their massive outdoor patio. Part of it is covered underneath a gigantic tent set up, the other picnic table style seating overlooking the foot traffic of Cherry Creek. What to order at the Cricket? They do have some signature burgers they're known for that have won awards at burger festivals. The green chile relleno burger stands out because I don't know how they invented this concoction, but it's a beast of a burger that has DENVER written all over it.More often than not, the Cricket Burger is the pro move. A customizable half pound burger with the toppings of your choice. The one I had the other night was with American Cheese, Bacon, and Jalapeños. It was cooked perfectly, an undeniable beefy flavor. It was a damn memorable burger.Oh. And the frings (with ranch) are a MUST.The knock of the star just boils down to the restaurant being too big, which means occasionally you feel like the forgotten stepchild depending on if your section is busy or not. On multiple occasions the service has been incredibly slow. Other than that, I'll continue to support this Denver institution. Here's to another 50 years, Cricks!"

"Casual lunch in a welcoming restaurant with plenty of room and not much noise. Service was friendly and the food hot and tasty. The cauliflower nuggets were crispy and gluten free. A special treat for me. The sweet potato fries were crispy outside and soft inside. The best I've ever had!We hope to come back again on our next trip to Denver!"
"My friends and I came here to watch the Dallas Cowboys vs. New Orleans Saints game. The TV setup was perfect for sports fans, with multiple screens showing a variety of games, which really elevated the experience. The food was average--not bad, but nothing special. Given how busy the place was, the service was decent, though understandably a bit slow.We ordered micheladas, but they didn't quite hit the mark. After talking to our waitress, she had the bartender make us another round, but they still weren't great. They definitely needed more Michelada mix to balance the flavor."
"You are greated right away by multiple people when you walk in. We sat in the bar area and enjoyed delicious margaritas that seemed to get stronger and stronger ()The atmosphere was wonderful. Our server was amazing and so pretty and even accommodating as we decided to sit outside on the patio after a few drinks. They have mariachi on Friday!! This place has been on my list for a while just because of that! They played so well and sang at every table.Perfect place for dinner with friends. We had a blast and will be back!"
"Came here looking for a good burger and we were blown away by the service. We got seated right away and served water too. The restaurant is cute and fun. So many families just enjoying their time together. The food was great and the servers were so kind and checked in on us about 6 times which was so awesome. Definitely will come back and highly recommend."
"Absolutely love this cute little spirit store. I like that it's downstairs so there's not too much traffic being upstairs in downtown Denver. The staff was absolutely amazing. We went to their business three times during our trip. They were very kind in opening our minds and giving us suggestions on different types of liquor to buy and how to make the drinks. I also want to give them a big ups for having an extremely clean facility. It smelt good in there. The music was amazing. And the prices were beyond appropriate. Especially for being downtown on St. Patrick's Day weekend."
"This was a change of pace from my normal restaurants. We decided to stop by a try out their food and beer. My wife really liked the chicken wings. It wasn't your normal fried wings that were dipped in sauce, she said the meat itself had taste. It was the same with the chicken fried steak. It didn't immediately look good but it was great. The special gravey really made it pop. There was a Nuggets game so the waitress was really busy. A bit difficult to get my beer and our food. Just a minor input. The parking was pretty bad. They share the lot with some other places and it filled up.As for the ambiance, it's a sports bar. Meant to be loud and crazy. If you can't handle it then go to Olive Garden."
"Yum! Good service and pizza and atmosphere! Ding ding ding! I've been to the other two location but something about this particular one seems ultra friendly! And I love the spacious area. Pizza is as tasty as the other locations. Bravo!"
"Love this British Pub. This is the place to watch footy! Came here on a Friday afternoon for some drinks and dinner. Don is such a gem. He gave us great recommendations and did mind to girly girls coming in. The fish and chips were awesome same with the burger! It all came out quickly and soaked up my alcohol. Prices were very fair! Two beers and two drinks were around 50$ including tip. It is a tad divey and dark which I love! But the food and service are way better than a typical "dive bar". The drinks are good, tons on tap. They do have a small outdoor patio as well. On my nights out I will definitely come back here. Overall, 5/5 experience. Highly recommend. Super enjoyable time."

Not sure why it took me so long to try cherry cricket but now that I have, I'm obsessed. Stopped in late on a Sunday night and it was still crowded! We got seated promptly and service was fast and timely. We got 2 burgers and they were kind enough to cut it for us and bring it out separately with separate pickles on each which we were pleasantly surprised by. The jammin poblano burger is probably the best burger I've had in a while. The big cheesy was also objectively really good. And the chipotle aioli was a must for the fries (which are ordered separately). Was really impressed by how delicious the burgers were and the vibes were also fun and energetic without being overwhelming. 100% will be back.

We sat outside on this beautiful evening me ryan and our friend Jeremy! Our server Terrance was a delight and was very attentive with some questions we had and making a drink with a few changes and a few food allergy questions. The food was great I especially enjoyed my smash burger. I have enjoyed the other tap and burger location and this one was just as awesome. Again Special shout out to Terrance for being so great!

One of Denver's biggest and hypest sports bar! If you live in Colorado or visiting from out of town, this is a must go to for sports. There are about 3+ huge bars within this building. As soon as you walk in security IDs you and directs you to the hostess stand to be seated. There is plenty and I mean plenty of seating and tons of TVs everywhere for sports. There truly is not a bad seat in the house. This is my go to during Denver Playoff times for the Avs & Nuggets and MMA fights. When you are seated it does take some time for servers to get to you, as this is a huge place. Once the server is notified someone is in their section you are good unless it's packed. Stoneys knows this so they actually have QR codes on the tables so you can scan and order more drinks & food if your server is swamped. This is a fantastic option, but know it doesn't activate until your server comes to the table. I wish it would sooner because the system ask for and stores your credit card on file to order food and beverages. Anywho, when you order through the QR code your food comes to the table extremely fast which is a super plus, your server is notified when it's drinks and they bring those to your table fast too. The food options are a lot and they are good. I have never missed with any of the food here. Good jambalaya, soup of the days, chili, burgers, chicken fingers, French dips, nachos, pretzel bites, etc shall I continue?! No matter what the bartenders and servers are great, at times some of the servers slack and have been caught chilling, but they must understand chill in the back because people are watching and your service designates your tips. Good service Great tips, poor service poor tips, but that rarely occurs unless it's not full. The staff are really cool and friendly, which is good and makes the atmosphere better. There is a nice mix of ages up in here too, not too old not to young, just fun loving sports fanatics. The energy is just fantastic No matter the sport, except for the last Super Bowl because the Swifties we're doing the most like always. #MakeFootballSwiftieFreeAgain

This restaurant has been running commercials on local TV. I haven't seen them, but my family has. They were ready for a sit-down Mexican meal. Off we went. After living in SW Colorado where "family" Mexican restaurants never failed to disappoint with large portions of bland food and a sizable kids' menu, I hoped for something better. Thumbs up:IDK how they season the fajitas, but the flavor was uniquely delicious.Shredded beef in my enchilada was well-seasoned and not dry. Both enchiladas (also cheese) were solid. I like how they bake the plate in an oven. Service: Our waiter's English wasn't great and he brought the wrong drink, but made things right immediately and provided the ideal balance of attentive, personable, and chill. We felt appreciated. Fresh hot chips hit the spot. Salsa seemed dull initially, but was gone fast.Kids Menu is yuuge ('family restaurant')Portions don't mess around. I ate until full and had a lunch portion the next dayThumbs horizontal: Beans and rice were bland, but filling. 60th percentile.Tamale also lacked character, but I ate the whole thing.People talk up the margaritas. Mine was just okay and not very strong. Prices for most menu items felt reasonable except for fajitas, which start at $22.99. Thumbs down: Nothing to see here.Overall, our visit rounds up to four stars. Nothing blew us away, but everything was solid. Hat tip to our server for a half star boost.

When I go to visit my friend in Denver, we invariably come to Park Burger. Their burgers are so good, and their truffle fries with Parmesan are outstanding. My friend is trying to avoid gluten, and I've realized that I actually prefer my burgers on lettuce than on buns, so we ordered them on greens. Talk about elevating a burger! It tasted so fresh and delicious. Our server was brand new and just learning the ropes, and he was a little confused when I asked for artificial sweetener for my iced tea, but other than that (which wasn't a big deal, just humorous), it was a wonderful experience as always.

"This is my favorite place for chicken pot pie-the best! I was one of the first to come in this morning because I had a craving for chicken pot pie and had just received an e-mail club coupon of $10. I had the choice of seating and Micke was my server. So bubbly, friendly and welcoming. Got my chicken pot pie in less than 15 minutes and so delicious!I had a craving too for fried pickles but they no longer have it on the regular menu but they made them for me! Top-notch customer service!"
"You won't be disappointed with this place. Great vibe and amazing beersBest pizza ever! The end"
"Fantastic food! Fantastic service! Lots of TVs in every direction. We were there for the football playoffs and we were still taken care of like we were the only ones there."
"Wyman's has become my favorite watering hole! It's a Chicago sports bar with lots of TVs, 2 pool tables & a kitchen that serves up delicious thin crust pizza, deep dish, Chicago dogs & hoagies. It kinda has a dive bar feel too, which is my jam! They have daily food specials Mon-Thurs and they have happy hour twice daily.. and they even serve single slices late night! Chelsea the bartender is my favorite, she's sweet & so fun.. and she goes out of her way to make sure everyone is having a good time (even remembered us after our first time there). Mike & Sam are great too!The place is actually pretty spacious enough to be a bar & restaurant. There's 2 sides of the bar with probably 20ish barstools & like 15 tables. The pizza was on point! $22 for a large thin crust supreme pizza & it hit the spot, I loved the fresh jalapenos. I can't wait to try the other items. Wymans is my new go to.. while I love playing pool at Don's, it gets too crowded with 21 year olds & Wymans just has a better vibe & older crowd! Aaaand delicious food!!"
"Great little pub with tvs on the bottom floor, arcade games on the second, and a nice rooftop patio! The drinks and specials are plentiful and the bartender was happy to change the tv to the game we were looking for. For bar food I was pleasantly surprised. The fried pickles came out super quick and they were piping hot. The Rueben (pictured) was delicious! Definitely our fave and will be ordering again next time. I also enjoyed that the Caesar wrap was toasted. The only thing I didn't love was the onion rings, but not a problem since I enjoyed the fries and know to get those next time."
""TOUCHDOWN STONEY'S"If you want to watch a sporting game out, go to Stoney's Uptown. It's like walking into a fishbowl of litty big-screen TVs, rowdy cheering fans, hustling servers, clinking draft beers and slinging bar food. You'll run into fans of your team and the other teams, but that is what makes the atmosphere fun! You'll get the thrill of looking at someone and with your eyes saying, "We are coming for you... on the _________!" (insert field, court, ring, horse, whatever event is on)Thanks to the Colts vs. Texans game, we discovered this. With a decent size party, I was curious how seating would work. Quickly, I learned there was no need to worry. It's open seating and there's lots of it, even a pretty big patio for a nice day. Our party easily found a spot in the fairly busy Stoney's. Our waitress may of been the MVP of the experience. She had a great sense of humor and handled our party of 12 with ease. She never missed a drink or food order, which always impresses me when you have a big party. There was a SHIP load of items ordered by our table. Maybe all the appetizers? Haha. I did not try them all, however, what caught my tastebuds the most was the Sweet Potato Fries. They had a sneaky blend of sugar, spice n' everything nice on them, and were the LEAD BACK who could have kept breaking my self-control. We'd definitely go back to Stoney's Uptown for a game!"
"We live 5 min away from Bookmakers Burgers, so we decided to give this place a try while watching the NBA finals. The restaurant itself is cozy yet spacious, dimly lit to make it more of a pub atmosphere. It wasn't busy at all, and we seated ourselves at the bar. The waiter was super friendly and gave us plenty of time to look over the menu. We started with mozzarella sticks, and they were not good at all. It literally came out 2 minutes after we placed an order and of course it wasn't cooked all the way through. It really seems like they just bought those frozen mozzarella sticks, threw them in the deep fryer and just served it right away. The mozzarella sticks were cold inside, and the marinara sauce was also served cold. Why put them on the menu if you're just gonna serve half-assed food?I ordered the bookmaker burger with bacon and my gf ordered the oddsmakers burger, both medium. The burgers came out as well done, the bacon was too chewy, almost as if I was biting off a piece of leather, and the buns were stale and hard. Overall, the food was ok, not great. Not sure if we will come back again, but I guess I'll update the review when that time comes."
"Food and service excellent. Ambience is good I go for the food. Good value.Great specials each day"
"Stopped in a few times for a drink here or there and ate at this location once. The food is pretty solid, though it is kinda pricey. I highly recommend the nachos. They are huge and can feed a few people. They have a good variety of beers to pick from on tap. Great place to watch sports. The TVs are large and you can usually get a spot at the bar to see your favorite team."
"Casual dining, scrumptious food and after a day of hiking a cool beer and hard cider made it a complete 10/10!Downtown Golden Colorado has lots of places to choose from for dining and we picked one of the best! Friendly, fast service reasonable prices, mystery beer deals on Thursday. What more could you want? The menu has clever wording to describe the options for food. We got a Mountain Fig Pizza. Delightful flavors to the palette! Yes, I will be frequenting this restaurant again, as should you! The beer and ciders are cold and go down easy on a hot day!"
"Tucked away in a small strip mall is this brewpub. It's definitely on the small unpretentious side -- which is refreshing. Hubby enjoyed his Ribs hazy ipa. Little disappointed there weren't offerings for this non-beer drinker other than sodas. We shared the brisket/pork platter served with baked beans and potato salad. It was verr"
"I came strictly for the Italian Beef sandwich, but the wife and I decided to turn it into a Friday afternoon happy hour/date night. First time here and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised at what a nice establishment they have. Family owned and operated, the lady owner came up and said hello. Super friendly, I was curious and had some questions. She showed me all the upgrades they are doing. The patio is very big, and they were setting up for live music that evening. The waitress lacked that fun personality, but she was attentive and did get the job done. I liked their happy hour drink special. Basically $1 off whatever you choose. Nice! Keeping it simple. This is NOT a dive bar nor super upscale. I felt it fit the bill just right. We will be returning. PS. I'm from Chicago and It's hard to find a Chicago Style Italian beef here in Colorado. This place is the real deal when it comes to their selection of Chicago food. Outstanding!!"
"Loved the fish n chips! Best we have had in Parker. Lightly battered and delicious! I do not recommend the funnel cake fries. Very bland. We will be back! Server was excellent!"
"The pizza looked sloppy from the start. I asked for no peppers and it was full of peppers. There were no black olives but three tiny green olives on the side. The salad was dry. The sausage did have good flavor though"
"A great neighborhood bar. Always rowdy. Service is good. Might be slightly delayed on busy game days. Amazing deals and food is great for bar food. Wings are great burgers and flatbread is delicious. Best bar in cherry creek / Glendale in my opinion Amazing BOGO happy hour I believe it's 4:30-6pm"
"They lure you in with a buy one get one free offer but then require you to purchase an highly overpriced drink, so its not worth the hassle. The food was fresh and hot but nothing special, just regular bar food. The foul odor of stale cigarette smoke hits you in the face as you walk in like being kicked in the face by an MMA fighter. Although the bartender was polite and friendly and apologized for the stink."
"Solid spot for brunch, lunch or dinner. Their spicy Paloma is delicious! Today I had the California Turkey sandwich which was perfection. My boyfriend had the biscuits and gravy which he loved (the biscuits were heavenly!)."
"The best Fried fish & Chips we have found in The Springs. Their sandwiches are stacked high, it's a friendly environment, their specials are delicious, and there are actually three locations that you can get those fish and chips at. This owner has Backeast in Monument, one on Briargate at Union, and also owns Abbys Irish Pub on Powers at Briargate. Hubby and I discovered this through a neighbor, when we first moved here. Looking for a neighborhood sports bar and I'll my girlfriends and I go to one of the locations at least a couple times a month for our GNO. Fresh Salads, sandwiches, specials, the chicken pot pie at Abbey's!!!!!, the corned beef at Abbey's... we just keep going back!"
"We usually get Woody's when at the brewery nearby but popped in for lunch and it was every bit as good. The wings are tasty, the fries are great! The staff was super friendly and welcoming."
"Stopped here at 9:00 pm for a late dinner hoping that we could score a good meal even though the ratings online were not that great. The place was awesome! Our server, Jin, recommended a great beer (the Denver Gold) based on our preferences. The food was delicious! The sweet potato fries were perfectly crisp and salty. The carnita tacos are delicious, and just like Jin said, no fat to mess around with! Everything was great and great portions. Highly recommend."
"Great divvy place in the middle of cherry creek. Good bar food and always a great place to catch the games. Food is good. Service is great recommend coming to the bar. This place does get packed with people. Ambiance is great and homie. Always have specials for week days on beer or food and on the weekend have great discounts."
"First of all ---- this place is dog friendly if you eat on the patio. Our dogs were spoiled too! Our server brought out bacon for each of them and a bowl of water. My girlfriends and I could have spent the evening eating apps off the menu, but decided also for salads & dessert. Everything tasted fantastic! I'm anxious to return so i can try more things off the menu. This place is perfect for those late summer evenings with friends, a date, or just coming solo w the dog. I'll definitely be back!"
"UPDATE!So, it's been a hot minute since I've been back here and I will admit, things have definitely changed, and for the better! First of all, there are WAY more people into this spot so each time I've ventured back it's filed with customers, which is always a good sign!Secondly, the food has gotten a massive upgrade and features just about everything! Sandwiches, salads, burgers, pizza - you name it, they have it and it's all delicious! The wings mentioned in my previous review have also improved and are lump meaty things that are perfectly dressed. YUM.Third, the staff is super friendly, sweet and brings out drinks and meals in record time.Lastly, there are specials and events hosted just about every night of the week. Trivia, Bingo, karaoke, open mic nights line the calendar which makes for a fun night out. We've been frequenting trivia night, which is so much fun!Cheers to a fun spot in the DTC!"
