"Came for lunch and had an amazing meal here! Kings Hawaiian sliders were solid, but the highlight was the mini spicy tuna poke bowl - so good. Spam musubi was also great!"
"This place has wide selection of ramen. It was kinda hard to decide so I stuck with my normal Shoyu. It was very tasty and just what I needed on a cold winter day. I also ordered edimame which was good but nothing out of the ordinary. Service was good and prices were good considering it was a huge bowl. You can actually make it 2 meals if you're not that hungry to finish it in one sitting. Good ramen if you're in the area!"

"Every relationship has its ups and downs. If you don't spend time trying to address those problems they fester and you grow apart. So it's a good thing that when I told RFPB that I thought we needed to go into therapy to strengthen our relationship and work through some of the friction points we were experiencing RFPB was in total agreement. We met for lunch a couple of times and at first things didn't go that well (see last review) so I was concerned and depressed. But the last couple of times we've gotten together (yup, for lunch), we seemed to have been able to work through things and now I can say we're tighter than ever.I'm back to calling her my Duchess and I hope I'm still her Duke.Attached are some pix from friends of mine. The first is a bird's eye view of my pumpkin bunny sweetheart, and the second is an ant's eye view of my little angel muffin from a very different perspective.Sign me,David "Back where we belong" M"
"I gave this place another try and happily increase it to 5 stars!Walking in, the restaurant is tastefully decorated and clean. The person who prepared my meal was pleasant and generous in scooping in portions. I got the medium bowl- tuna, spicy tuna, salmon. 2 scoops of crab salad were also included free of charge, along with a side of miso soup that was complimentary. For sauce, I got the spicy sauces. There is enough for another meal tomorrow! Food was top notch and I'll happily go back again!"
"Poke, poke, I love POKE! After two visits to Denver Poke Company, I can safely say, "I'm a fan!" Why you ask? Let's talk about it:1. Denver Poke Company is located on Platte St. in the heart of the Highlands neighborhood. There's limited metered street parking nearby, but convenient light rail access.2. The staff is super friendly and more than happy to guide you through building the poke bowl of your dreams. 3. They offer my favorite Aloha Maid Pass-O- Guava drinks to go with my bowl. Def the perfect pairing. 4. They serve up either pre-selected bowls or build your own customizations. I opted for a customized bowl piled high with bamboo infused rice, salmon, spicy tuna, seaweed salad, crab salad, edamame, pickled ginger, furikakae, and spicy poki sauce. YUM!5. Everything tasted wonderfully fresh and extra delicious. Just how poke should.Denver Poke Company is just what I needed to curb my poke craving."
"Let me start by saying that I love sushi... and that I am posting this much later than originally anticipated... I really enjoy trying new and different things whenever I have the opportunity and Sawara definitely delivered! My sister and I were getting pretty hungry and had a long-standing rain check to get sushi together. With COVID, there weren't really any places we had the option of visiting in person, so we decided to order in. My sister found Sawara after a quick search and we were able to see the menu on their website. The search results didn't list delivery as an option, so we gave them a call and a nice man on the other end of the line confirmed that they were able to provide delivery service through a third party (DoorDash). In today's world, delivery has become the popular option among those that would rather not venture out to get a bite to eat. While I totally understand that, I'm not really a huge fan of these large third party delivery companies; for many, the fees tend to pile up but the restaurants and delivery staff don't end up seeing very much of the profit... but I digress. We placed an order for a handful of rolls - about a 50/50 split between vegetarian choices and non-vegetarian choices (mine were the non-veg... and pretty spicy to boot!!). I forget exactly what each roll was called, unfortunately, but we received our order within the quoted window with a jolly text message from the delivery person when it arrived. He double checked our order to ensure it included utensils, soy sauce, extra sauces my sister had asked for, and napkins which I appreciated so sooooo much as there have been many times details are overlooked in cases where there are some pretty detailed requests. Both my sister and I thoroughly enjoyed our rolls and frequently furrowed our brows at one another to convey an "I didn't think this would be so yummy" sort of look lol. The fish - in my case - was so unbelievably fresh and tasty and each flavor written in the menu description was well accounted for after each bite. My sister loved her veggie rolls as well... we mutually agreed that this would be a meal we would be glad to put ourselves into a food coma for! LOL. Thank you, Sawara, for your excels food, excellent service, and reasonable prices. Whenever I find myself in your neck of the woods I will be SURE to stop in."
"We were meeting a family member of mine that was in town staying in Boulder and figured the Lakewood/Golden location was good to meet in-between us for dinner one night. She accidently went to the Boulder location so she was running late meeting us. This turned in to us dining pretty late right before they closed. I felt bad for being ' those people' who walk in shortly before a place closes and they are trying to clean and wrap things up. Whoops, sorry guys!We all order some sushi burritos (rolls) and sat down while they made them. They came out quick and asked if we needed anything else. We got some wasabi and started chowing down. I got the hamachi crunch poke burrito. I would have ordered mine as a build your own but my burrito would have easily been over $20 so I stuck with the hamachi one. The fish was fresh and the roll had great flavor. I loved all of it except that it wasn't rolled tightly enough and just fell apart. I ended up having to use utensils to eat it as everything kept falling out. But great flavor. After we were done, which was past their closing time, the manager greeted us at the door and you could tell was really grateful we came in, even if it was late. He was really nice and asked us to spread the word! I hope more people hear about this place and check them out. Great sushiritos!"
"We've been visiting here for just over a year and every visit has been very predictable. I like that a lot. The first time we walked in, I wondered where are the people were. I've since determined they do a great carry out business because people are in and out in just a few minutes. All of the food has been fresh on every visit. We always build our own for one flat price unless we add avocado or extra protein. Most recently we built a medium (24 oz) with white rice, tuna, salmon, jalapeños, edamame, mango, crab salad, crispy garlic and onions, spicy mayo and maybe another topping or two hidden in there. The medium is nice because you can choose two different proteins. My favorite build your own is a small (16 oz) including white rice, shrimp, corn, edamame, pineapple, mango, crab salad, carrots, almonds, crispy garlic and onions and a spicy teriyaki sauce. The staff is very friendly and when I mentioned preferring extra crab salad on my last visit, they added extra while building the bowl and went back and put more on top toward the end. They don't skimp here. The bathrooms are super clean. There's plenty of room in the parking lot and they are easy to find. One of our obvious choices for a quick meal."
"I wasn't sure if I should write an updated review for Wanna Poke since it hasn't changed. But I do want Yelpers to know... it still is THE BEST! I've had poke all around this area of Aurora and Wanna Poke not only offers the best price and toppings... each bowl also comes with a miso soup!! Happiness... I genuinely will crave it and go out of my way to get it.Choose exactly which proteins and toppings you want by building your own bowl!! There's no extra charge for avocado (the way they do at some poke spots, especially in CA) and the creamy sesame sauce brings it all home!! Definitely try it out! It's never very busy or has a long line... I'm always in and out!"
"Wow! Nestled in a little corner of a strip mall in Highlands Ranch, super impressed!Incredible, made to order poke, curry and teriyaki bowls as well as boba and smoothie options. Super friendly staff, quick service. Will absolutely be coming back and recommend to anyone on the south end looking for poke- this is your spot!!"
"My wife and I visited this really nice place a few days ago. It's right next to Chopsticks. Be careful because you might go to the wrong one, depending on what you want. The black garlic noodles are fantastic. I highly suggest them; they're really good."

This has become my favorite Hawaiian restaurant in Denver. This place doesn't just serve poke: although the menu is not expensive, I really like the selection of items they serve. Its ambience is so matching with the cuisine. Mint colored walls with cute decorations are adorable to say the least. It's quite petite inside so this place is more for to-gos. I wonder what it's be like during the peak lunch hour. The young man behind the counter was very courteous and friendly. The restaurant wasn't busy at the time of my arrival but maybe it was a Tuesday night?? After I had placed my order several people came in as if to jinx it. The Kahlua Pork is an amazing dish. I was truly impressed with the macaroni salad. I've been to a Hawaiian restaurant in Aurora but their macaroni was too decadent/rich to a point where it made me concerned about the calories. With that in mind, this place does a great job with it. Can't wait to dine here again. I'd definitely try one of their poke bowls next time.

Decent ramen. The noodles are solid, but the egg didn't seem freshly soft boiled. The soup was a bit too heavy on the shoyu, so much so that it was quite salty. Overall a great option but not my favorite bowl of ramen ever.

YUMI really should leave this review as YUM because this was a great poke bowl. I got the Signature with 1/2 brown rice and mix. Sauce was spicy and tasty and so many toppings. Very filling.

No wait.....Until Noon, then a crowd lines up to get their low carb, high protein lunch fix.First time trying marinated fish salad. Do I feel healthy? Yes! Was it tasty? Absolutely. Am I a fan? Not really. Why?Hard to say. The Masubi, a slice of spam atop rice, rolled up with seaweed wrap, was for what I'd return. This says more about me than Denver Poke Co: There's just not enough; like the sign says, it's an expensive appetizer.Outdoor seating was pleasant. Practically no indoor seating.

The sushi is amazing and the prices aren't bad either! Most of the choices are the same or less than king soopers "snow fox." I always order miso soup as well and it's one of my favorite places to get it!

First time trying this place. They have sushi burrito or bowl options. I opted for the Kalbi burrito. The ingredients are plentiful but definitely hard to eat in a burrito format since the jalepeno dressing made the seaweed chewy and not strong enough to hold all the hefty ingredients. Tip - get the sauce on the side so it can be more of a handheld item. Service is super friendly. Fun photo prints adorn the walls.

"I had the fortune of eating at this restaurant on my last trip to Denver before the pandemic and was very please by my poke bowl which was filled with a generous helping of shrimp and salmon. The ingredients were high quality and fresh, and the bowl was constructed in nice layers with care and good presentation (Fish on the inside, rice on the bottom, mixes on the side). The flavor was very good, especially with the fattiness of the fish. This matched well with the fluffy rice and crisp vegetables. I was quite surprised at how much food was in my bowl as being tall instead of wide made me think that there was less food than there really was.Overall, delicious food, friendly service, big portions, and a reasonable price make this a great place to get Poke."
"Parking onsite available. The restaurant is small but food and service were great. You can order at the cashier or from QR Code at any of the tables we did both. I was hesitant to order the takoyaki but I am glad I did. It was made fast and fresh with ample octopus inside. The Chicken Kara Age was very mild in flavor not as crispy as other locations but still well made the accompanying sauce complimented the chicken very well. The gyoza was also good quality I wish the bottom was just a touch crispier. The spicy tonkatsu ramen was well flavored and very rich, the egg appeared poached unlike traditional Ajitsuke Tamago. The duck ramen my husband ordered was well seasoned his only complaint was there weren't enough noodles. The noise level was very quiet I don't know if that was because we dined it 2 hours prior to closing. Staff was kind stand offish so they need a bit of work welcoming customers."
"Craving a poke bowl as I made my way home from my morning classes, I decided to make a little pit stop near Union Station at Menya Ramen and Poke. The LOCATION: Locate at the foot of the Millenium Bridge in the heart of Downtown Denver and close to Union Station, Menya Ramen and Poke is perfectly situated for the busy commuter. The SPACE: I really enjoyed the set-up of the restaurant. There's a ton of different seating, and it has a really fun aesthetic. I think the only drawback I noticed was that it smelled a little odd during my visit. I'm hoping it was just a one off, so I won't hold that against them. They do have a patio space that would be great for soaking up those sunny Colorado days. The EATS: For my meal I opted for the DIY Poke Bowl with the following: Poke tuna, poke salmon, seaweed salad, avocado and crab meat over rice. You then choose additional toppings to customize it just how you'd like. I always add edamame, ginger, and avocado. It was definitely fresh and delicious! The DRINKS: While I decided to sip on water during my visit, they do offer a variety of soda, tea, sake, and beer for your enjoyment! While I chose to not get an RTD pass this semester, I'd pop back by Menya Ramen and Poke to check out more of their menu offerings if I find myself in the area again!"
"Poke Me is a special place that's relatively new to the Belmar shopping district of Lakewood. Unassuming from the outside, but when you enter you're greeted by the most friendly people in a bright and welcoming atmosphere. To be honest, I haven't had a great poke bowl in quite some time. Maybe I just don't seek poke spots out enough. The truth of the matter is, this place separates itself from the pack. Every single ingredient they offer is served fresh. They also make their sauces in house. And boy what a difference it makes!I went with a dealer's choice of sorts. You can trust the amazing team behind the line to put together something memorable that caters to your taste buds. I went with Tuna, Salmon and Sweet & Spicy Ground Tuna (an absolute gamechanger!) One thing I like is that they marinate the fish in their sauces before assembling the poke bowl. This is key for optimal flavor! As far as toppings, I couldn't say no to everything they recommended. It was the kitchen sink of poke bowls and I mean that as the ultimate compliment. Adding spicy mayo on top of it all took an already amazing dish to new heights. The owners are actually a brother/sister duo, Huy and Linh. It makes the experience all the more rewarding knowing it's a family owned and operated business behind the scenes. One thing I noticed while dining in is that they talked to each table when they weren't busy preparing dishes. They value their customer feedback and their warmth and generosity shows.I hope this restaurant prospers all the way to the moon. Legitimately one of the best poke bowls I've ever had in my life!"
"In the middle of an icy cold snowy day, what more could warm the heart up than a delicious bowl of ramen! We found this place to warm ourselves up for lunch and discovered a simple and delicious ramen place in the heart of Denver. Hidden away amongst a handful of shops, this place was simple and small but not overwhelmingly busy. Their menu is large and covers both poke and ramen; even letting you build your own poke bowl with an enormous amount of options. We got the chicken ramen and the ton katsu ramen, both absolutely delicious. This bowl is large for the low price and worth every sip. The service is fast at turning around the food too. If you are in need of some delicious ramen that really hits the spot check this place out!"
"Waikiki Poke is a little neighborhood gem, sort of hidden by Benihana and in a massive WalMart parking lot. It's perpetually empty inside whenever I drop in for a late lunch. The girls are always in the back on their phones as a result, but they come out of hiding quickly to take and make my order. It's about $17 for a small poke bowl + tip. It's about the size of my outstretched hand which is a perfect amount for lunch. I think they have some pre-selected menu options but I always opt to make my own bowl. You get a choice for the base (I go with basic white rice), 2 scoops of fresh protein (I usually mix salmon and tuna), and probably about two dozen wet and dry toppings and at least a half dozen sauces to choose from. I usually have green onion, mango bits, tomato, cucumber slices, seaweed salad, sliced almonds, and their custom poke sauce. I would recommend getting sauce on the side and pouring on as much as you like, as I seem to either get too little or too much when they mix it in. Lastly, I wish they had sliced avocado instead of pre-mixed guacamole, but hey we're not all perfect right? Really digging Waikiki Poke so come on in people! There's plenty of seating and it's a quick and easy take out option as well."
"I got the trifore and absolutely enjoyed it!Fish was fresh, fatty and tasty. Quick serviceI love the yuzu wasabi dressing sauce too. Light and tangy. The only thing that would have made it a 5/5 is if the rice wasn't dry."
"Admittedly, I was a bit skeptical of a new ramen and poke restaurant in a strip mall. Not that I practice the judge a book by its cover mentality...but c'mon you never know! Luckily, Yelpers hit the nail on the head. I eat way more ramen then I do poke. However, the other night I was actually craving a poke bowl. Asuka popped up as one of the only places open in my neck of the woods, so I figured I knock out a local spot from my bookmarks. These cats are no strangers to the scene, with two Denver locations. One down E Colfax and one in Greenwood Village. The digs are simply laid out and very clean. A bright menu board spells out the ramen dishes, poke bowls, and various appetizers. The Spicy Combo Bowl - fresh ingredients are the name of the game here. I'm not expected grade A fish at a place like this when you're mixing all the ingredients together. But hell, the tuna and salmon were fresh and packed with heat. The crisp veggies were a nice touch. Plus, they put a massive portion of white rice in the bottom of the bowl.Additionally, the woman behind the counter prepared this within seconds. Fast, tasty and won't break the bank. Cheggitout!"
"Went for a leasurly lunch date with my honey recently. We LOVE us some TJ's! The place was mostly empty but for a few people. More employees than customers. We shared a poke bowl, spring rolls with chicken, spicy tuna roll and a bowl of General Joe's Soup. Y'all. That soup... I hadn't had it in YEARS and back then there was no egg. The egg is the most amazing surprise added to an already delicious soup. Everything else was tasty as well...love a good poke bowl and TJ's is my favorite! The chicken in the spring rolls was a tad dry but the sauces help. Why 3 stars? It took a reallllly long time for our food to arrive after we ordered. To go orders were flying out the door which gave the impression that maybe our order was being pushed back to get the to go orders out. Regardless, we will likely be back if we're in the area."
"Once upon a time, just to spoil myself I would buy some lunch with my meager savings. As a college student, I often brought my own lunch, but one day I thought hey, why not.s'ONO! first opened up on campus my last year of college. My first poke bowl and certainly not my last. It opened doors for me in the Poke world.I ordered the Spicy Tuna Poke. For the price, it was piled with vegetables and tuna. You can opt out the rice, but I love rice. The vegetables were fresh, the tuna was fresh, oh my god, everything about this meal made me feel healthy and happy. The best kind of combination."
"After so many years the lime green walls are still there and I have been back a number of times. My experience has gone from A-OK to Wow, this is a really good place at an affordable price.Service is very pleasant. The kind waitress seated me about 5pm on a weekday. I was in the area already and decided to catch a quick bite before heading home to watch the Buffs play SDSU. (Go Buffs!). I ordered a couple things to go but also ate there too. I try to mix things up when I can.I had a salad and drunken tiger roll while I are there. Then I took a yellowtail handroll and playa roll to go. Everything was excellent. Taste and texture surprised me with many familiar flavors. Whether you want a quick bite or gather with friends, this is the place for you.I saw a number of people drop by for pickup orders and many others shuffle through for bigger parties. They seem to get a good number of return customers. I will certainly be back. Ding Tea and Beard Papa's are in the same shopping strip. Very convenient to satisfy your sweettooth and even grab some yummy sushi beforehand!"
"Super clean! Friendly and quick staff! Amazing food! I come here often and have yet to be disappointed."
"Great selection of base, meat toppings, and sauce! this is one of the select few Poke spots I actually enjoy and this was my first time here. The salmon and tuna I got was fresh and there were a varierty of ingredients to choose from to make your very own bowl. The poetion size was great for the price as well, a small bowl (two meats) was filled all the way to the top. It even came with complimentary miso soup. Will definitely be back here again when I'm in the area."
"I am not one to ever really order poke for lunch delivery but I will say, I am very impressed with Island Fun Poke. Delicious bowl! I had the poke bowl with one scoop of protein - plenty of food! I didn't even finish it because it was so filling. Not sure what the restaurant is like but I will say as far as delivery goes, I enjoyed it."
"Was looking for a ramen place close to City Park and saw this place had a bunch of high reviews so my family and I decided to check it out. The inside was small but felt modern. Staff was really friendly. I really enjoyed both the flavor and presentation of the food. The broth had good flavor and that umami. If you are near by and want to satisfy your ramen craving, definitely give this place a try. Your tummy will thank you!"
"We decided to try this place as it is walking distance from our apartment... and WOW was a wonderful place! Is beautifully decorated, the staff was just amazing, and the food was excellent!! The staff was so friendly and helpful. It was our first time there so they made some recommendations and explained the process for us.. I got the Bali Hai Signature Bowl with lettuce as my base. It was so delicious, filling, and such a light lunch. Although, it kept me full for the rest of the day after that. The prices are good to as like I mentioned, you get a lot of food. I definitely recommend this place and I'm so excited to have it so close to me!"
"Fantastic restaurant with amazing service. Extremely well staffed definitely going to come back."
"I love hibachi style cooking and was super happy to see Tokyo Hibachi open up close to my office. I have tried a few different entrees and they are all good with huge portions for the price. My fav so far is the teriyaki chicken. Called in my lunchtime order a few times and it is always piping hot and ready when I pick it up. The man taking orders is very sweet."
"My first time visit experience in one sentence:"I came, I chowed and I shall come back."The entire restaurant inside is very clean and the food aroma is especially inviting. The employees behind the food counter greet you and are happy to help you make your order explaining the process and what every ingredient is on their food bar from different kinds of seafood, fish, octopus, seaweed, sesame oils and sauces, etc. All the ingredients look fresh and they indeed tasted taste fresh.Four simple steps to get your meal:1. Pick a size - small, medium or large bowl (2 scoops, 3 scoops, or 4 scoops of your choice of protein)2. Pick your base - brown rice, white rice, or salad3. Pick your sauce - they have different flavors of spicy and mild sauces and oils4. Pick your toppings - sesame seed, veggies, crispy garlic, crispy onion, etc.I ordered the medium size bowl and couldn't finish it all and I typically can eat an entire steak bowl at Chipotle easy Peasy. I will have to go with small next time!"
"I love Pokeworks! It is a chain and I first found out about it when I lived in the DMV. When I saw they had a location in DTC I had to check it out. When I visited I was helped right away and the staff were friendly. I did the create your own bowl and all of the ingredients inside of my bowl were fresh! My go to order if you want to replicate and like spicy is: half brown rice, half greens, spicy tuna for protein and/or spicy salmon, cucumbers, sweet onions, cabbage, sweet corn, edamame, serrano peppers, pokeworks classic and sriracha aioli, seaweed salad, sesame seeds, with ginger on the side.So delicious!"
