I've walked in for dinner on random weeknights, and I've been able to get a table or sit at the bar right away. As always in this neighborhood, come early if you're meeting others to carve out time for street parking.Usually I get the Veggie Khao Soi with side of fried tofu, but most recently this summer, I wanted to try something cold - the Hiyashi Mazemen. Sooo good and refreshing! They have a special where my partner and I could get ramen and a bottle of sake at a discounted rate. Service is great, and I love observing the chefs work their magic."

We got Singapore noodles to go. The chow fun was good. Tasty and not oily. The chicken chow mein sauce was good. He complained that there were too many veggies and not as much chicken for a chicken dish. The veggies were fresh and I did like them with the sauce in the white rice. Yum!"

Parking was pretty easy and light shown in from the front windows.We walked in to a smaller restaurant, smaller tables. A waitress told us to sit anywhere and brought over some menus.The appetizers were spring rolls and hot and sour soup with shrimp. The waitress actually brought us two bowls to split the soup, which was nice.Entrées included Drunken Noodles with Chicken and Thai Basil Chicken. You can custom order your heat - it was spot on. The meal and service was fantastic.The walls had a couple of pictures so if you want decor, this might not be the place. But if you want good food, check it out."

"My yearly training trip for work sends me to Denver for 2 days. This spot is my go to when I come each year. I normally go in February when it's still cold and snow is still on the ground. We usually walk over since we stay in the hotel across the parking lot from here.I always order my usual pho with rare steak and brisket, I go with the large bowl it's $16.99. You really do get a lot for your money. Plenty of noodles, meat, and the accompaniments are so fresh. Limes, bean sprouts, Thai basil, and jalapeño slices. The pho comes out piping hot, flavorful, and tasty. It's really good on a cold winter evening.Service is awesome, friendly and efficient staff members. All very helpful. Location is clean, organized, well stocked. Plenty of seating. Definitely a spot to check out if you're ever in the Denver area."

"We worked up an appetite visiting the History Colorado Center. When I checked Yelp to see if there were any good restaurants around with vegan options for my friend, Anise popped up. I was super excited as vegan Vietnamese food isn't all that common where I live. We were the only customers when we walked in at noon on a Saturday but by the time we left, it was hopping. Menus are available by scanning a QR code (no this isn't my favorite thing). We ended up ordering the tofu spring rolls, the vegan crispy rolls, the tofu bahn mi, and the vegan pho. The rolls were very good (I liked the crispy a bit more than the spring but this really is just preference). All conversation ceased when we got our entrees. The broth on my vegan pho was so wonderfully aromatic it is hard to explain. It was easily--easily--the best pho I've ever had. At some point I remembered my manners and stopped slurping down my food to ask my friend how his food was. He said, mouth full, "this is the best banh mi I've ever had in my life." Then we both happily went back to our food in silence. We definitely had to flag our server over to order or when we needed anything but he was friendly and helpful with the menu. I ate my left over pho cold for breakfast the next day and it was still delicious (don't judge me). So, to recap, QR menus, service slightly meh--BEST VIETNAMESE FOOD I'VE EVER HAD IN MY LIFE!"

"I have been craving surf n turf sushi ever since I tried it at Sprouts. I heard this place had it and wanted to try it fresh. I walked into a completely empty restaurant and I had to ask if they were open. They were fully staffed but no customers. It was nice to have the restaurant to myself to take pictures of my menu and food without other people looking, however. I started with the Kani Poppers. They were AMAZING! I love the crisp of the crust and the crunch of the jalapeños. The cream cheese added some creaminess to the mix and the sauce on top added the sweetness that tied all of the flavors together. It was a well balanced and filling appetizer. Of course for my entree I got the Surf n Turf Roll. I must say I expected a lot more flavor wise. The flavor of the filet mignon on top fell flat, and they stuffed the roll with a lot of avocado which I am not a fan of but I don't mind in sushi because usually there is only a small amount. The cold roll that I bought at Sprouts was way better and a lot more affordable which was disappointing to me. I will have to keep looking for a better surf n turf roll in Denver. I will say the service was good and the staff was friendly."

The casual, laid-back vibe of the restaurant makes it a perfect destination for a quick meal then get up and go or relax while enjoying some seriously good food.I ordered their signature Angry Chicken wings with the spicy sauce, along with a side of fries. The wings were incredible--crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and packed with bold flavors. The spicy sauce had just the right amount of heat, balanced with a slightly sweet tang. The fries were golden and crispy.The portion sizes were generous, and the prices were reasonable, especially given the quality of the food. The staff was friendly and quick. "Beautiful, delicious sushi!Osaka Sushi is a huge winner in the sushi department for having an amazing selection of rolls, reasonable prices, beautiful presentation, and awesome desserts!Had the opportunity to finally check out Osaka Sushi after a friend of mine raved so much about it. I may be weird, but I actually love fruit in or on top of my sushi so whenever I'm at a new sushi place I scan the menu for a) rolls with any fruit like mango, strawberry, or kiwi, b) spicy rolls with spicy salmon or tuna, and then c) tempura rolls. Osaka Sushi has a great selection and some very unique rolls as well. I ordered the tropicana roll and ichiban roll which satisfied my fruity and spicy sushi cravings, respectively. The tropicana roll is one of their newer rolls and includes shrimp tempura, crab meat, cucumber, kiwi, kiwi sauce, tempura flakes, and red tobiko. The ichiban roll is shrimp tempura & crab meat topped with spicy tuna, spicy mayo, and sweet eel sauce. My friends ordered the avalanche roll, oh baby roll, and two others that I don't remember the name of. The avalanche has baked salmon, crab, shrimp tempura. Oh my goodness, I absolutely loved the ichiban, tropicana, and avalanches rolls! The two other rolls I tried were also great. Despite being fairly full, of course we had to try dessert.I ordered the berry paradise cheesecake, while our friends had the tempura ice cream and creme brulee. All of the desserts were beautifully presented, with beautiful plate art. Not only beautiful, but they were also delicious. I love the care in the presentation that Osaka delivers for both their sushi and desserts!Friendly staff, plenty of seating. Five stars! Definitely one of my favorite sushi restaurants - wish it was closer!"

The restaurant isn't anything special and avoid the restroom but the food is so so so good. We started with peanut satay, wonton soup both mild and spicy, new spring rolls and the owner gifted us some pork wontons. All were so delicious. Very flavorful and made with love. The entrees were all five stars and bursting with flavor. Chicken pad Thai with fresh noodles. Garlic chicken. Masaman curry, was a bit like a Panang curry and probably my favorite thing. Barbecue chicken. This is so much meat and only like $13We also received a selection of dessert items including rice and mango with coconut cream. Gosh, it was delightful and very thoughtful. The owner and her daughter treated us so nicely and it felt so genuine. I would come back here in a heartbeat it's just so damn far from downtown lol."

"This place is a nice little gem in Arvada. Today I placed an order for two of their lunch specials. I ordered the sesame chicken and the other was cashew chicken. Each of these came with rice, egg roll and your choice of soup! We had the won ton soup and it was quite good. There were some veggies in the soup but also 4 big won tons in the broth. They threw in some crispy noodles and I added that to the soup. Delicious! Both meals were tasty. The sesame chicken was cooked just right and the cashew chicken was also quite decent. I took photos of the two meals and considering they were lunch portions they were sizable. Inside the restaurant looked great. It's clearly a very nice place for inside dining. I took photos of the inside which is spacious, clean and has a nice vibe. Overall this checks off all my marks for a great place to eat. They also have Vietnamese food so check out their menu for all they offer. Lastly the food was ready for pickup so I was in and out. Parking is not a problem so definitely a restaurant to consider when you are in the area!"

"We stopped in for lunch today as we did a family eye exam at vision works nearby and the snow has us craving something hearty. While I love pho I always want a rice or noodle bowl because I love the grilled meats. We went in and there was ample seating; we were able to secure a good table that could accommodate our car seat. The server offered us a child seat right away which I appreciated however Hank is not old enough to fit in one yet so we could not partake, but I definitely appreciated the offer. Alfie got flank and brisket pho and they had an awesome lunch special for a small bowl (very decent size) and two Vietnamese Egg rolls. Talk about value. The meat was very good quality and the broth was really fantastic. It almost made me regret not ordering pho. Honestly very good broth! I got the Combo noodle bowl and asked if they could sub a few extra piece of egg roll instead of shrimp and as you can see from the photo they hooked it up! Good amount of meats and fresh veggies. All and all really really good. They also have milk tea which I ordered the lavender without thinking and then one sip in realized duh MILK tea (can't have dairy because of hank) so that was sad because it was really good, a nice lavender flavor. I think I can honestly say this is the best pho spot we have tried around town and we will probably be going here from here on out."

The light spring roll with the flavor bomb peanut sauce just goes so well together. They should sell that peanut sauce lol ;)I got the combination pho which is Steak, brisket, tendon, tripe and meatball. You have to order a medium or large bowl if you choose this and my husband got the Steak and Brisket. I'll be honest the tendon felt pretty uncooked and hard and stiff so I took it out. I think the best option is the rare (p.s the meat is so thin that it cooks in the hot water) Steak and Brisket. Overall good experience"

"GNH might be the BTS of the Denver Ramen scene... their dishes "light it up like dynamite!" If you're unfamiliar, BTS is a famous K-Pop boy band that sings the 2020 hit song, "Dynamite". Check your spotify or reference your last wedding, you know the song. :DSo what was so "Dynamite!", let's break it down...Upon walking in, I felt a "I-I-I'm in the stars tonight, so watch me bring the fire and set the night alight". They have really vividly colorful murals and lantern lighting from above that gives a "shining through the city with a little funk and soul". If you're thinking about this spot for a date or gathering, I think you can definitely "bring a friend, join the crowd". Anyone would enjoy the very music video-isc vibe. The service was "cha-ching like money" just on it! We were greeted with cool kindness, solid explanations to our questions about the menu and swift refills of our water glasses. We got the Deathwish and Miso Bacon... both were "Dy-na-na-na, na-na, na-na-na, na-na-na" and lit our taste buds up "like dynamite!" The broth in both was salty, savory and all kinds of "whoa oh oh"!If you like spicy, Deathwish is for you. If you don't, Miso Bacon. My favorite was the Deathwish. I'd say it was the "I'm diamond, you know I glow up" of the Miso Bacon, because the bowls have the same ingredients excluding their chili sauce (which I found to be a well-balance of spice, tang and delicately sweet). So, if you're in the area, I'd dance your way into Glo Noodle House! You'll be sure to have a "Dy-na-na-na, na-na, na-na, ayy" DYNAMITE experience. :D"

It's a solid 3.5 stars at least I'd say!FOOD: + Pad thai (with tofu): Pad Thai is one of those staple dishes that I use to judge most Thai restaurants that I go to, and for a Thai place located in a random food court in Boulder, I was pleasantly surprised. I did not have very high expectations, but I was impressed. The portion was large and the flavors were good. Have I had better pad thai? Yes. But have I had worse pad thai? Don't even get me started. I would get this pad thai again!+ Tom yum soup: Also a staple and also good! The LOCATION: Locate at the foot of the Millenium Bridge in the heart of Downtown Denver and close to Union Station, Menya Ramen and Poke is perfectly situated for the busy commuter. The SPACE: I really enjoyed the set-up of the restaurant. There's a ton of different seating, and it has a really fun aesthetic. I think the only drawback I noticed was that it smelled a little odd during my visit. I'm hoping it was just a one off, so I won't hold that against them. They do have a patio space that would be great for soaking up those sunny Colorado days. The EATS: For my meal I opted for the DIY Poke Bowl with the following: Poke tuna, poke salmon, seaweed salad, avocado and crab meat over rice. You then choose additional toppings to customize it just how you'd like. I always add edamame, ginger, and avocado. It was definitely fresh and delicious!The DRINKS: While I decided to sip on water during my visit, they do offer a variety of soda, tea, sake, and beer for your enjoyment!While I chose to not get an RTD pass this semester, I'd pop back by Menya Ramen and Poke to check out more of their menu offerings if I find myself in the area again!"

The interior is clean, roomy and a great place for a low key, relaxing dining experience. Food galore at amazing prices. $12 for their lunch combo which is a massive plate, full of goodies. I easily got three meals out of this plate. The food was awesome!Staff was friendly and the service was fast. Dine here or order delivery if you want quality Chinese food at affordable prices."

"I came across Country Thai via DoorDash since I was being persuaded by a DoorDash promo. I was pleasantly surprised to see all the positive reviews on Yelp and on another Facebook group I follow. I don't crave Thai food much, but once or twice a year I get a craving for the classic pad thai, pad see ew or drunken noodles, and a curry. Is this place the most amazing Thai food I have ever had in my life? No. Did it hit the spot at an amazing price? YES. And for that, it deserves a 5 in my book for hitting all the expectations. $13.95 for a huge order of drunken noodles when all the places in Denver metro were charging $22 is a huge win to me. Our favorite was the green curry. With 3 dishes, we had enough to feed two people for two meals."
