"It is basically a market with a small eating space. The people we encountered were friendly and service oriented.I ordered a barbacoa taco and an asada taco. My son ordered a variety of tacos including a tongue taco. The tacos are small but hey they only cost $ 2.50. Both my son's tacos and mine were delicious. My son and I plan to return and try other menu items."
"Very good, the dinners were very well done deep in flavor, great hidden secret spot. The bakery goods were over the top, even being full from dinner i couldnt resist had to buy 6 fruit empanadas. The super flaky strawberry was fantastic, they earned their stars"
"For being a local store it gets good ratings because it's convenient. It doesn't have the best prices. Max Market is okay if you prefer local over big chain stores. Limited selection but still decent. The service is just okay. Anything local is usually better than a corporate chain. It mostly is the case here. The prices really aren't worse than many other stores. It's typical of a convenient store to take advantage of customers in a hurry. They sure do that here, but it's not all bad though. Some things have decent prices. The made to order items are the best values. Grocery items are pricier. This is good if you have some time. It has a pretty good menu of sandwiches and things from the deli. Prices are better for the made to order items. This is a better place if you have time for waiting."
"On our tour of international food markets, we also made a stop to this Bulgarian food store. Upon entering the store, you are hit with a wave of delicious smelling meat or bread or combination of the two. It was just so incredible to be bathed in that culinary wonder. We wandered up and down the aisles and there is so much to look at. Of course we filled up our basket with goodies that we have never tried before. The usual chocolate requirement was there but we also picked up pasta that is tiny grains almost like cous cous but you cook it for 17 minutes! I cannot wait to try it out. We also took some of the softest most delectable bread home out of their front case. Our friend picked up one that was filled with cheese and sprinkled with herbs on top and for that alone I need to go back."

Looking for an authentic Mexican market? You'll find it here! They also have a small restaurant inside where you can get delicious. Tacos are in point and food is as authentic as it gets.

Hands down the best food we've had in Colorado. We had chili relleno and asada taco's with a real coke we plan on going back. The pastries/bread looked absolutely delicious... can't wait until the kids and grand kids visit! Please try this taqueria you won't regret it!Ordered takeout last night picked up our order got home and our first bite was HOT no need to microwave. The containers the food came in were very good quality and can be used again and again... a perk!

Who me? Back to me to write more outstanding things about Max Market. Literally in love with this place - market and deli, what more could you want? This time I did the Italian melt and the crunchy grilled ham & cheese - WOW! The Italian melt is loaded with all the most delish meats and flavors and the grilled cheese was soooo cheesy! My one wish on the grilled cheese is that the shoestring potatoes were more crunchy but honestly that could have been due to the fact that I walked for 20 minutes after it was ready to get home, but it was still packed with flavor. While at the store I realized I was running low on a few household items and I was able to grab those there - a one stop shop! Seriously check them out if you in the ballpark / larimer area!

This little market sells all kinds of things including: ginormous plain wafer that you can use in sheet cake (I had no idea this was sold anywhere, this is the 1st time I've seen this), sausage, cheese, cake, canned goods, cookies, candy, cured meats, coffee, teas, oils, juices etc. They have their own private parking lot. They have lots of exotic and interesting goods that I haven't seen at other grocery stores. I've only been to one other Eastern European/Russian market in the Denver-area and this one is definitely larger.

What haunted me today was cleanliness, or in fact, the sheer lack of it. They were never the best at it but today was different. None of the 5 tables were clean. The floor around the table was dirty, napkins and bits of food everywhere. It is probably not this bad everyday but not even one day should go by, when cleanliness is not given importance in a place where people eat. The food as always was good. Delhi chaat was delicious. They have the best chaat around.

This is by far my favorite place in denver. The freshly baked authentic middle eastern bread is the best bread in Colorado. The kabobs and shawarma is some of the best ive had in the United States. They don't use generic or cheap ingredients. It's all fresh and made in house. The imported grocery goods are amazing and their imported spice selection is also worth the trip here. Get them when the bread is coming fresh out of the oven early in the day and pick up something from the grocery section for dipping, and you have some of the best meals you can find in denver.

Right off the I-70 freeway, south at Tower Road. Calling it a restaurant may be a bit of a stretch. A typical authentic Mexican/South American street cafe may be a better description. I wouldn't call it a "hole in the wall", as I think that would paint an unfair picture of the place. I was in the neighborhood and thought I would give it a try after passing it a few times. I am familiar with the genre of dining. You order at the window/counter and eat dine at the 3-4 rows of tables with folding chairs. The menu board challenged my understading of written spanish, so my oral skills were drafted into service. I managed to order three three street tacos "tres tacos de pollo callejeros con cebolla extra y cilantro y lima" at least thats what I meant to say, but somehow I managed to ask for a "three hugs and rubber pants with limes" Anyway... after the laughter stopped, I got my order in and a few minutes later three very nice tacos showed up at the counter, and I grabbed a Diet Pepsi from the fridge ...."Pay at the register on the way out"...reasonably priced, basic good food, in a very casual grocery store setting. Not exactly the place to take a date for a romantic meal, but maybe a good place to go if you are planning to break up and want a place where few would know why one of you would be crying uncontrollably. ¡Dos pulgares arriba!

Rocky Mountain Meat Market is a nondescript gem, a North African "Middle Eastern" Halal market with one of the better selections of beef and lamb in the area, chicken too. Highly recommended to due the quality of the cuts and selection of more unusual items like lamb necks, kidneys, etc. Prices are very good also. I understand the owner is actually Algerian, and they carry products from the entire Mediterranean region including Morocco.

"Heard a lot about this place .Checked out .Its good. Highly recommended and worth visiting"
"The place is cool. You can have dinner before you pick up fresh bread and fresh desserts for your family. They also have a small grocery store that specializes in Middle Eastern food."
"Great little market with good food and friendly staff, few tables for seating, the market has a butcher shop and great prices. Love their fresh chorizo, and fajita meats. Plus dont forget up front the displays of their inhouse bakery items..the have you covered ready to eat, ready to fix"
"Azul! It's time for another review, and what better place than Rocky Mountain Meat Market at Colorado/Iliff? Yea, they've got your lamb shanks, your prime beef. and (of course!) your spicy Merguez sausage, but there is so much more to peep at in this cozy little nook. The owner of RMMM is in fact Amazigh from Algeria (you'll notice that the Halal sign on the wall has English, Arabic, *and* Tifinagh letters when you enter), and his intent is to bring a bounty of North African delectables to his ever-eager customer base. Are you needing some hot-as-heck Harissa sauce from Tunisia to add some chile to your cooking? You can find it here - and how! Maybe instead you're in search of a nice big bag of couscous straight from Casablanca? Again, you've come to the right place. And how about a selection of soda from the proprietor's home country? One of my favorites in this regard is Selecto. "Oh, how does that one taste?", I hear you inquire. Well, it's kind of, um, apple-y, date-y, coke-y... hmm, maybe I should stop trying to describe it - let's just say you'll love it and leave it at that. But then, there are also bottles of orange-flower water, chocolate custard mixes, cans of succulently-sauced tuna, boxes of mint tea - basically, all your Maghrebi food needs will be filled in a single visit here.As it turns out however, it's truly your lucky day, because RMMM in fact features products from all across the Near and Middle East to enthuse over. How about a jumbo-sized can of ghee from Jordan (adorned with a very aerodynamic gazelle)? Or some fava beans with a plethora of seasoning choices, whether your tastes lean more towards Lebanon, Egypt, or al-Khalij (the Gulf region)? Ooh, those chocolate/hazelnut cookies from Turkey look good don't they? And I can attest that they're even more flavorful than you can imagine. And naturally, the shelves are filled with jars upon jars of pickled and preserved vegetables of all kinds too - from cucumbers, to olives, to grape leaves, to.... Oops! I really should watch where I'm going a bit more, shouldn't I? I very nearly backed into this substantial selection of enormous bags of rice from India and Pakistan. But my favorite part of the shop is probably the cooler, where I can buy Kalb el Louz (Algerian semolina/almond cake) or Mille-Feuille (layered cream pastry)."
