"Great food and atmosphere with a 1950' ambiance.I eat here every time I am in the area."
"Excellent dinner this evening with our children and grandchildren. Host and server very attentive and made us few very welcome. We all had one of their specialty hamburgers. The ground beef is absolutely top quality and tastes amazing. Order your burger from rare to well done. We had medium rare and it was perfect!"

"Hits The Spot can do what their name says. Hit that hungry spot!!A no fuss spot for breakfast and so affordable! Everything that you see on this review was $20 minus the tip! The food is straight up basic breakfast and tasty! No complain here! The staff are seasoned and attentive! I like looked around and noticed photos of old Hollywood stars from lone ago. Also, this diner is frequented by regulars. Love it!My special pancake was fluffy. My eggs came as requested ; over medium. My sausage although nothing to boast about in size was what sausage should be! seasoned well!So if you're looking for a bfast spot while you're in the west side do not hesitate to stop by and try this folks!"
"Delicious every time! Always dependable and reliable. Wonderful staff are welcoming and friendly. Forever a classic favorite."
"We stopped here before heading towards Colorado Springs for the day. It wasn't full yet but was getting there. We sat at the countertop and got greeted and taken care of right away. I got the #1 breakfast that came with 2 eggs, choice of meat and choice of pancake or French toast. The food was good and a perfect portion size. The prices were cheap too. Good hole in the wall cafe."
"Excellent place for all day breakfast. Service was top notch and they kept our drinks filled and checked back on us after we got our food. I tried their chicken fried steak, and it was great! We will definitely come again."
"We ate at Garden and Grain a couple times during our stay at the Gaylord because we loved, loved, loved the food. The food is not only healthy, locally sourced and fresh, but delicious and artfully plated. The dining room is upscale and gorgeous. The ceilings are high with beautifully tiled. Seating is comfortable and it is easy to have a conversation. We shared the G&G salad at every visit. The salad is huge with fresh greens, fennel slices, carrot and pomegranate. We also had the Brussel sprouts app, the sprouts are served on a bed of cashew miso hummus, which is delicious. Chili crunch's added flavor and texture. We also tried the Blistered Shishito pepper dish which was huge with roasted peppers with chili crunch. The dish was easily shareable. I had the Burrata and Heirloom Tomato Bowl as a main during our most recent visit. The cheese is soft and fresh. The tomatoes and dressing delicious. I love their fresh focaccia. They have a kid's menu, so my granddaughter had the salmon and fruit salad. The salmon was delicious - 5 star seared with crispy skin. The fruit was fresh but the pineapple had a bit of discoloration. Our service was mixed. We had the same server, but they seemed to be understaffed, so she seemed to be stretched. She did not bring us plates for our apps, which we were sharing. When we asked for plates, she brought tiny bread plates. We asked for a to go box for our granddaughter's meal, and never received one. Main dishes came out before apps on our first visit. Our server was friendly, but I felt like we were on a bad episode of a top chef competition. That said, the food was excellent, so good that we came back. I found myself craving the G&G salad the next day. The restaurant is beautiful. Prices are reasonable. I go back, even if I wasn't staying at the hotel. It's that good."
""Denver's Best Pancakes"?I'll be the judge.Verdict is: YESSSS!My husband is a pancake connoisseur and with Wendell's boasting the title of "Best pancakes in Denver", I knew just the place to meet my mother-in-law for a breakfast date!We arrived just after 9:30 to a bustling Tennyson St filled with folks who clearly had the same idea we did! After circling the block, we snagged a spot out front to park just a few short steps away from the entrance! Parking in this area is a bit tough, but once you see a spot, snag it! Beware - the nearby businesses have parking for their customers only - which many people fail to see - so just FYI!My mother-in-law was already seated a cozy booth in the rear near the window and to my surprise, the space wasn't packed! The space itself is super unique with exposed brick, bright white walls, cozy booths and a large oak booth across from the massive community table! It exudes all the best touches creating the perfect vibe for brunch!Brunch isn't brunch without 3 different beverages, so I started my morning off with hot coffee, water and a spring cocktail - the Elderflower Spritz! Beautiful and floral and light - the perfect sip! Our server, who name escapes me now, was beyond friendly, welcoming and sat right down with us to discuss the menu, specials and everything in between! She knew her stuff, cracked jokes with us, had our coffee never see the bottom of the cup and made our entire experience enjoyable! Now onto the food! Hubs opted for the Wendell Junior - featuring Two Eggs Any Style, Seasoned Hashbrowns, Ham and subbed toast for the famous pancakes! All I can say is WOW! The pancakes were dense with flavor but fluffy and light, was sweet but wasn't TOO sweet and absolutely delicious! We are OG pancake people in that we like just butter and syrup on top and this did not disappoint! I chose to nosh on a spring special - the Brisket Poutine which hadSmoked Brisket, Seasoned Hashbrowns, Carolina Bacon Gravy, Fried Cheese Curds, Two Sunny Side Up Eggs - and YUM. I'm not a huge brisket girlie but it was crisp, light and all the flavors melded together juuuuuust right for one delicious bite!We also chose to sample the Chicken and Waffles which were oh so good. The chicken was spicy and crispy, yet sweet when mixed with the waffles - with plenty to take home!Look out Wendell - we will back!!"
"Went in for a to go order today, walked over from the Hyatt House. Got a breakfast burrito and fries which were good. But I had to come here and rate this 5 stars because the light skin dude up front with the glasses and flat top might be the nicest human on earth, he was great."
"I was in the area at 5:30 AM looking for a breakfast place that was already open to get a breakfast burrito and Apple Ridge Cafe was there for me in the early hours. This is a local spot for sure. If you go in the morning you will get to hear all the local guys talking about everything that is going on. They have their regular booths, come in and give the poor waitress a hard time. She can dish it back for sure, but it make for some pretty comical entertainment while you are waiting for breakfast.Apple Ridge Cafe offered a big breakfast burrito. It is stuffed with potatoes and eggs then smothered in a New Mexican style green chile that was excellent. I could just enjoy a bowl of that chili with some eggs and would be very happy. The potatoes are good, but there are a lot of them in the burrito so you walk out full and satisfiedWhen I return I want to try the pregnant burrito. I wish I would have caught this on the menu before I ordered. It is a burrito that is stuffed with a chile relleno inside. Must I say more? There was only one waitress working while I was there, but she had that whole place under control. The knows what the regulars want for their breakfast and she makes sure that food comes out of the kitchen in a hurry. Fun place for a breakfast if you get a chance."
"Waffle House gets a bad rap but I've always enjoyed their food and heck what other place is open when you want the late night food? A taco or burger place? You've got some variety and usually a server with smile but also some sarcasm."

A friend suggested meeting here for us to catch up. I wasn't hungry for a meal, but had waffle fries and a shake, both of which were great. I wouldn't have expected a diner to be gluten aware, but the waitress told about all their GF bread and bun options, and their dedicated GF fryer. I would be comfortable coming back for a full meal.

Have been here a few times and food has always been good. Two people in our group of four had salads. I had an Italian sandwich with side salad, the salad was wilted, I think it was under the heat lamp, because plate felt a little warm. Another person had steak salad that had the same issue (wilted greens). All other food was good, loved my sandwich, my wife had the gnocchi and loved it. Three had cocktails, all loved the drinks. They may just want to address the wilted greens. Will come back, just no salads.

Love sitting at a diner. Extra attention from Michelle, and all the kind ladies waiting on me. Food was terrific and indeed hit the spot. Since I got the Rellano breakfast burrito. I'll need to return to sample biscuits and gravy.Ambiance at the counter of a deli or diner is usually good. No exceptions here.

This is a recommendation specific to this Village Inn location. I wanted to pick up a chocolate pie for my friend's birthday. I called the VI location in Centennial - closest to friend's house, and was told "all pie orders are online and at least 24 in advance." I then called the VI Aurora location, and they said, "Sure we have a few of those. Just come by." I did. Got pie. Friend's Birthday was happy.

Butcher's block is a great stop for a quick, very reasonable priced breakfast. I love the lowkey, retro atmosphere. I'll definitely be coming back to try the cinnamon rolls!

Really, really mediocre food. Nothing all that good. Burrata salad was worst thing i have eaten this year. Gross. Pizza is ok but not great. Carrot bisque was gross, risotto is gross.

"So this cafe is under new management. The old manager employed inmates from the jail and got a tax break! So I refused to eat there! But now the new manager hates inmates! And I ate there after 20 years! So I had the French dip and it is delicious! I got the food in 5 minutes that pretty quick! The bathrooms were clean and it's a quaint place! They serve breakfast too! And it's not too expensive! Do I recommend this place, yes!"
"My experience at Bramble & Hare dethroned my previous Boulder favorite. The restaurant is cosy and warm, with a golden glow and plush seating, draped with fuzzy blankets and pillows, that wraps around the small space. We had a mocktail and a glass of wine to go with our bread board. My one suggestion for the kitchen would be to warm up the bread brought to the table before the meal. The entire meal was outstanding, but the highlights were the gnocchi and the salmon entree. The gnocchi: hearty and flavorful. This dish reminded me of an elevated hamburger helper in THE BEST WAY. It was topped with squash blossoms, which added to the presentation. I would come back for this dish alone. The salmon entree: not only was the salmon amazing, but the quinoa was the best I've ever had. So much umami.Stuart and Micha were wonderful with suggestions and ensuring the meal was perfect. I could not have asked for a better experience."
"Definitely the best gyros in town.I've been coming here off and on for some time, and the experience is always spot on. Take out is quick and actually the same serving portion as dine in, which seems to be rare nowadays.Food is always solid, from breakfast to lunch to dinner. Gyros all day baby.Staff is pleasant and attentive, they seem to be happy working here and it shows.Burger is fine, not the best, not the worst. Wouldn't come here for the burgers though.Get the gyro breakfast platter or the sandwich.Bonus: darn good and spot on avgolemono soup, hits the spot every time and I always get a bowl no matter the time of day. Man, I want some now."
"The name "coffee shop" is a bit misleading as they don't even have an espresso machine, and they only offer drip coffee. The place is easy to find and has plenty of parking (dirt only parking lot though). The menu had way more items than noted on their website so it was a plus. However, keep in mind that they don't focus on healthy options. The service was very attentive, and everyone was super nice and kind. Food was edible but that's about it. I got Mexican omelette, and a side of hash browns. Hash browns were very mushy and green chile was too thick and not very flavorful (despite having a nice spicy kick). They also sell some homemade jerky, jelly, etc. Overall, it's not a bad place but not something I will ever crave again."
"Came in on a busy Saturday, was sat briefly and given a fair amount of time to look over the menu before our order was taken. The restaurant itself carries a very home-like vibe and appears to have a very loyal group of regulars. It can be loud, but not obnoxious in my opinion. The food itself was great. The biscuits and gravy were quite good. The gravy was thick enough to my liking & the biscuits were well cooked. The gravy had sausage bits that were chunky and a little big for my taste, but it still was incredible. Those who like their b&g with adequate pepper might want to add some at the table. I asked for the eggs over medium and they were actually over medium, while not being rubbery. Not pictured was three pancakes, they were about hand sized and not bad. Although the syrup was very liquidy and runny for my taste.Overall service was good, prices were fair, and food gave off a very nice hole-in-the-wall vibe."
"I'm not sure why they have such low ratings. When you walked inside, it was covered with cows. Even the bathroom had cow paintings and artwork inside. Thats why they call it the cow and eatery. You can either eat inside or the outside patio or the back closed off patio. The service is great, and they are quick and check on you frequently. When I asked for hot sauce, they brought over three from their own brand. I was impressed by all three. It felt like I was in the show hot ones on youtube, haha!!I found out that this place used to be just an ice cream shop with just outside seating, but renovated it for food and dessert with seating inside. I think that was a great idea. Food wise, I ordered for myself the seafood mac and cheese. I'm on a diet not eating fried food, so it was limited, and of course, I got myself dessert too. Their banana split was so good. I enjoyed it thoroughly even though I'm not a fan of chocolate. But their two flavors and all of the toppings together combined matched well. I would suggest getting their dessert as it's all handmade."
"This place is in our breakfast rotation because the food and service is always consistent. This time I bought a peanut butter pie. It was amazing!!"
"our server's name was Emma, she is kind, friendly, fast, and efficient. she is simply the bes! Ask for her section. (she has a great smile ) Thank you Emma!!"
"The food was excellent. I had the breakfast nachos type meal (that's not what it's called on the menu but it's basically chips, cheese, choice of meat (I got chorizo), crème fresh, beans, green chili sauce and an egg on top) and it was absolutely delicious. I love huevos rancheros and this was very similar in flavor but just a different execution. Will definitely get that again. My kids both had hot cakes and they were beautifully fluffy and delicious. Service was great -- attentive, understated and professional. Definitely a great local place that I would recommend and return to often."
"I'm here for the pies, the hot breakfasts and unlimited coffee. They also have a super positive attitude and a friendly staff. I've been going to the Southland's locations since Southland's opened and never really had any problems. The wait time is usually under 5 mintues on busy days. Although the food service can be later then other breakfast places. The skillet meals are delicious and you can request different proteins. There hasn't been a pie, I didn't like here. During the holidays you can pre-order your pies. Most of the time you don't have to worry about not having your favorites when you arrive."
"When a new place opens up out east - it's a big deal! There's no exception when it comes to Shooters Bar & Grill. After stopping by here a handful of times, I think it's safe to say they check the boxes. SPACE: At Shooters Bar & Grill, there are 3 distinct spaces to suite your dining environment needs. First is the main dining room - complete with bar seating, high tops, low tops, and booths. Second is the outdoor patio - perfect for those warm sunny days. Third is the billiards room - with 2 quarter tables, a jukebox, and high tops throughout. There's ample tvs throughout the indoor spaces to ensure you don't miss a moment of the game, and ring toss games to keep you entertained during the commercials. SIPS: They offer a variety of creative cocktails and draft beers. I've sipped on the blackberry crown lemonade and the ass kickin' mule. Both were refreshing and delicious. My husband usually sticks to the draft beers or Jack and Coke. SUSTENANCE: We've sampled a wide variety of the menu at this point. My personal favorites are the elote bites, steak nachos, french dip, and shrimp po boy, and cajun chicken sandwich. Portions are on point for the prices and everything tastes fresh. SERVICE: For the most part, the servers are quite attentive. I have noticed during our last few visits, the wait-times have increased substantially. Typically, we visit with either another couple or a moderately sized group. With the larger group, I totally get an extended wait time, but for a group of four it's a little rough. So just make sure you aren't starving when you come. So excited to have another meal option out on the Eastern Plains. Shooters Bar & Grill will continue to be on our dining out date night rotation for sure!"
"Love the Waffle House in Parker. The staff is always super friendly. The food is good and the customer service is excellent. Shout out to Diamond!"
"This is a great restaurant we loved all the food! The chicken was especially our favorite. Definitely the most delicious chicken I've ever had and was so juicy. The duck gougers were also really delicious and rich. The milk bread with butter was the perfect amount for two and were also so delicious right out of the oven. The steak tartare was so unique with the trout roe and is my favorite preparation of steak tartare. The risotto was really great but I've had such great risotto in the past that it wasn't the best risotto ever. The dessert was really great as well but I definitely miss the ice cream inside, the mousse was great though. The high moon drink was a great martini if you like strong martinis. The blueberry sour was also so good. We also had the mount Eden Chardonnay which was a great wine. The service was great and very welcoming. The bathrooms were also very clean. Highly recommend this great restaurant for a special occasion!"
"Everything here was good upon my visit. Service was quick and friendly. Food was fresh, hot, and tasty. The hostess was even able to get me seated right away on a busy Sunday morning brunch crowd. Interesting side note is that they print their menus on what looks like an old fashioned newspaper which also had trivia of when and where the Black Bear restaurant chain comes from. Good service all around."
"Decent breakfast spot. Nothing to write home about, but the food and drinks were good."
"The food was good, especially the patty melt...everything hit the spot for a Saturday breakfast!BUT...What's gonna keep us coming back is the service, Antoinette is the greatest waitress in all the 56 United States,(Just kidding I know there's only 53 States!!)Because if her, we will be back!!"
"One of my wife's and my early dates was when we went out to what was then a backwoods area--free from the city lights of Denver near Chief Hosa. We laid out a blanket and watched the Perseid meteor shower. So breathtakingly beautiful. Afterwards we decided we were hungry and so once the sun was up we decided to go to Davies' Chuck Wagon Diner for an early breakfast. Had the Chuck Wagon Breakfast of steak, eggs, hash browns and toast, that's still on the menu these 20 years later. Cost I think around $4.95 or so back then. Today the price has risen to $9.95, but it's still a great deal. And what's the best thing about that 46 ton railroad car diner that was shipped out to Denver I think back in the 50s or early 60s and is now on the National Historic Registry? Well they're still serving the same Chuck Wagon Breakfast. We were driving up to the mountains yesterday and happened to be going by the diner when we both looked over at each other and without saying a word reached out squeezing each other's hands and smiled. Turned into the diner parking lot, and went in and ordered the same meals. So lemme ask you this . . . how could I give anything less than a 5 star rating to Davies'?Sign me,David "Lucky in love" M"
"A local favorite and a historical location, this spot seems like it has maintained its hole-in-a-wall stature, interior is old and worn off. Despite that the place has lots of recognition and accolades displayed on their wall. But the outdoor seating they have, looked so new and modern, best part of the restaurant. The breakfast items we tried were okay. Lemonade was decent. Pancakes were not so good. Service is okay. Dishes came out within a short time. We were happy to have checked mark this iconic spot but probably not the best experience we imagined."
"4.5. Came by for dinner during Restaurant Week and overall had a lovely meal. Service was a bit rushed, but that was understandable given the big crowd. We both got the lobster ravioli for the appetizer course and it was really tasty -- just wish there were more than one ravioli! For mains, I got the salmon with caper beurre blanc and my SO got the bouillabaisse. I loved the salmon! Not fishy at all, tons of flavor, and the lentils were delicious. I didn't try his bouillabaisse (allergy), but he said it was pretty good. For dessert we went with the tiramisu and the lemon zest cheesecake. The tiramisu was amazing. The cheesecake was very non traditional and unique. We also finished about three bread baskets and the house red. Those bread baskets were a game changer and allowed us to leave feeling full. We were seated at a table near the counter and a staff member working behind the counter, on multiple occasions, was staring at us, listening to our conversation, and then interjecting. The first time it just seemed friendly, and then it got strange. It was quite uncomfortable and put a damper on the overall ambiance. Besides that, I enjoyed the setting and the charm of the restaurant!"
"Good service all around at this restaurant. Service was prompt and friendly, food was fresh, hot, and tasty and both the interior and exterior of the building was clean and litter free. Everything from ordering to check out was smooth and efficient. Even the cashier had a smile and made me chuckle when he told me a cute little joke."
"After missing the Ethiopian food I enjoyed while living in California, I was pleasantly surprised by the options available in Denver! After debating between a few places for dinner, my partner and I picked Queen of Sheba. Great choice. Felt like having a home-cooked meal in someone's home. There seemed to be one person working. I'm assuming it was the owner.I picked the Lamb Tibs (as always) with Harar Beer to wash it down. Delicious, filling meal. Generous portion of meat with "sides" (forgot what they're called in Ethiopian) with more than enough injera to scoop everything into our mouths. We were stuffed by the end. I'm craving Ethiopian again already. Come check out Queen of Sheba if you haven't already!"
