Honestly, the pizza wasn't great- I could barely taste the bbq sauce. I had 2 pieces for dinner & I didn't even finish the leftovers (I always finish leftovers) . It's definitely for overpriced for what you get."

"Needed coffee since the wifee did some damage to the good ol coffee pot. Wanted to find something local and came up Brocks! Ya'll remember the old school Circle Ks? It's in one of those! Dope! Walked in and was welcomed by an amazing aroma. Coffee choices were abundant and prices are really good. It was packed! Kids got hot chocolate, wifee and I a latte...we were also a tad hungry and ordered a turkey croissant. Super disappointed with that. I mean, the croissant was flaky and deelish but for the size and lack of a side for $11? Not even close to being worth it. Come peep this joint for coffee and booze!!! Say what? Still undecided on when we order food again but definitely will be back for coffee and drinks."

"Consistently good oat milk latte. Thump has a variety of delicious pastries and coffee available and it makes for a good coffee shop to visit. They also have home made syrups you can add to your drinks if that is your thing. It can get pretty busy and hard to find a seat especially mid day as it looks like a popular place to get some work done. They also have a small patio available which makes for a good spot to chat when lots of people are getting work done inside. Parking can be difficult on 13th but if you go into any of the cross streets it isn't too hard to find a space."

"Lots of people are butt hurt at this automatic 19% service charge - so don't come. I am def a fan of this place. Otherwise - it's a lovely spot on the park, few parking spots in front if u don't live within walking distance in the hood, and lots of fabulous outdoor and indoor seating.I love that I can grab my Americano and a healthy salad. It's not going to be cheap - but this isn't your Mission star Beckon sit-down.Yes, things cost more now a days and they tell you upfront about this service charge. This is not a table service place. It's still take a number for food or wait for your coffee."

"It's hard to argue why this place has 5 stars across the board and why it is found in so many locations around the world, including several throughout the Denver area.What I liked is that they do not assume 'one fits all' concept. I was asked for the type of tea, how sweet I wanted it, and the type of ice! The end result was a classic milk tea (black) with boba (pearls). It was excellent because it wasn't overly sweet (I asked for 30% sugar) and the balance of milk and tea was perfect."

"I had a chance to finally stop by this cute bakery in the Washington Park area last week and had a pleasant experience. This place has an extensive menu for both sweet and savory baked goods. When I was standing in line, I had a hard time deciding on which pastry to buy. Interior decors are so eye-catching as well. Everything you see inside this bakery is vintage from 1920's era. It looks like a café in Paris where famous writers like Hemingway frequented (did Hemingway like coffee at all? Am I just making that up?) Lucky me; I ended up getting two pastries with one price, by an accident. I asked for a zucchini feta croissant but the barista (who was so pleasant to me by the way) couldn't hear me well (or the blame is on me; my voice wasn't loud enough) so he put a zucchini muffin in a little brown bag which I didn't notice until I had paid for everything (I also got me a 16oz iced black tea with light ice.) When I politely/apologetically informed him of the little error, he, of course, kindly corrected it by giving me the right pastry and allowed me to keep the muffin as well. He said, "It (the muffin) is for tomorrow's breakfast!!" What a kind gesture!! Both of the zucchini pastries were delicious. I also liked my black iced tea. I believe it's earl grey if I'm not mistaken. They put some (light amount of) cream in it but this cream did the magic. I do drink earl grey with cream in it so I wonder how he knew that without even asking me. Great job!! Right next to this quaint bakery, there exists another cute shop for gift and they are connected so you don't need to go out of the bake shop to browse this gift shop. I had my iced beverage/food in my hand but the guy at the cashier didn't seem it (I wasn't really consuming any of it anyway. Oh wait, I may have sipped my iced tea but I was very careful by not spilling it!!) What a way for two businesses to coexist by having this beautiful symbiotic relationship: sip and browse!"

"Eatopia was recently in 5280 Magazine -- and deservedly so! Owner Seble has created a haven for authentic Ethiopian fare and a comfortable, casual dining experience. A recent review references sour injera and "offensive" flavors. Injera is supposed to be sour! It's a fermented food that's tasty, good for the gut, and offers copious iron and minerals. Ethiopian cuisine features spices that are not familiar to most palettes, and I can see how people who are new to Ethiopian food might not cotton to it immediately. Remember to separate the cuisine from the restaurant: for those of us who are fans of Ethiopian food, Eatopia offers a haven of flavors and warm service.I first discovered this restaurant 2.5 years ago, and I've been going back monthly ever since, always with my family of four and often with friends as well. It's important to remember that Eatopia offers an experience. We always stay for a couple of hours -- last weekend, we were there from 4:30 PM to 8:00 PM with our group of 10 adults and 5 children. We started with sambusas, then lots of veggie dishes, awaze tibs, doro wot, and injera. Then, we ended with a tasty coffee ceremony. To me, it's not a stop for a quick meal -- it's a place to relax and enjoy amazing food and good company. "Good company" meaning not only the guests I've come with, but the restaurant staff as well.Seble has poured her heart and soul into Eatopia, and she tends to personally check on tables and try to get to know her customers. Everyone who works for her is super nice, but I can understand how the language barrier could somewhat affect the experience (but not the food, which is consistently excellent) if Seble isn't around. If it's your first time trying Ethiopian, you can always call ahead to make sure that Seble is in. She takes immense pride in taking good care of her customers. In short: I highly recommend Eatopia. Go and try it, and make sure to bring your appetite!"

"The first Monday of every month, East hills community church hosts a 2 hour Storytime with Daycare. It's amazing! It's not drop off daycare, but you leave your kids in the nursery while you have a coffee with your friends, or work etc in the coffee shop.You can't see the coffee shop from outside because it's inside the church building. They separate the kids according to age levels. The little kids play with toys, older kids get storytime and games. If it's warm they play in the playground outside as well. Very well organised. The drinks are all very reasonably priced. My 16oz tea was $1.75 and the coffees are a little more. The seating area is clean and comfortable, everyone is very friendly. There was even a child safety seat in the restroom if you don't want to leave your kid strapped to the change table! Will be back!"

"Went on a trip to Denver recently and I am a big new wave coffee shop guy. I was shocked with the amount of options available in Denver. With all the competition, River and roads coffee was able to stand out. The coffee was amazing. I went with my usual cortado and my girlfriend got two different lattes over the course of two days and hers were also excellent. Usually a spot that has great coffee doesn't have good food, luckily for us, River and roads have a great food selection as well. We stayed at an Airbnb close to the MLK location and would recommend anyone to stop by if they're local."

I've had several issues at this location with this one being the latest. I believe the only reason they're in business is the McDonald's name. If not for that, they will be out of business."

"This is a Vietnamese style boba shop so there are items on the menu that you won't find in other Taiwan based boba shops. If you are stumped, I recommend the sugarcane coconut drink. It does come in one size and it's a little over $7 for the drink so it is one of the more pricier items on the menu. However, it is worth it because it's delicious. It's not too sweet and the ice doesn't water it down. It's a refreshing drink. I'll need to return next time to try the pennywort and see if it's good."

Took it back and all I could get was ciabatta bread with onion chive cream cheese. Not yummy."
