"I don't understand the low ratings? It's always busy and staffed well. I've been here 6 times and I always get greeted immediately and service is amazing especially for a chain restaurant. Shannon was the first person I met when I sat at the bar. I've met three more bartenders. Everyone was welcoming. They all make sure they know your first name. They have a lot of regulars and I understand why. They make sure you are taken care of. I've tried a few of their dishes. Their steaks and chicken dishes were very good. I was impressed for a chain restaurant. They offer many sides to go with their entrées. I particularly like the green beans, steak fries, and even the red chili. The stuffed potatoes are huge! The steaks were perfectly grilled and I added mushrooms onions to it. The horseradish is delicious as well. I've tried their NY Strip, Porterhouse, and Sirlion so far. The ambiance is a Texas Roadhouse style setting. It's very loud though. Lot's of people there and it gets busy. I had to wait 3 hours to sit at the bar on a Saturday night. I still was served well. I would recommend reservations any day of the week."
"Finally had a chance to check out Sammie D's Fine Smoked Meats in Elizabeth. While I wanted to order one of everything, I opted to get a two meat sampler and add a few items.I got the brisket, and smoked chicken - which came with toast and pickles. I also added some amazing burnt ends, and for sides - I got their house made french fries that were beautifully seasoned, and their barbecue beans. Everything was fantastic! I got a chance to try all three of their sauces which I highly recommend trying as well...with the original being my favorite. All of the meats were fantastically smoked, the staff was really attentive, and I can't wait to go back."
All of our meats are dry rubbed with sauce on the side. All of our sauces are gluten-free. Priced per piece, each link is 1/2 lb.

"This place is awesome! The owners are very gracious and very attentive. They love to tell you all about their restaurant, the recipes, their history. It's all very adorable. Good ambience. The owner has you taste test the different types of barbecue sauce before you order so that he can match the barbecue sauce used on the food to your exact taste. I've never had that at a barbecue place, but it was very awesome. The food was really good and the portions were very big. The only reason why I'm not giving this place five stars is because it's incredibly expensive."
"First off, a shout out to our server, Elle. She did a great job waiting on us! We had two toddlers with us and we were also celebrating an adult birthday, and she really took good care of all of us. The food was really good! We shared wings, loaded fries, a platter of turkey and brisket. I recommend all of them! They also had a good kids meal so we were all happy. The happy birthday pecan pie was delicious with plenty to share with the table. Nice atmosphere. We enjoyed everything."
"I just happened to stumble upon this hidden gem near the 16th street mall. OMG I'm in love! I got the homemade lilikoi and it tasted way better than the Hawaiian can drink I normally get. Then I got a musabi and that was fresh and homemade. Was absolutely delicious. I got there too late for the real food because they sold out by 1. That's how good this place is. I'll go back soon to get the whole shabang and then I'll give you a better review. But if the drink and musabi was the bomb I could ONLY imagine what their kahlua pork and mad taste like."
"i can't believe that we hadn't been to longhorn before. the host was great, short to no wait, our server was on it and friendly. loved the ambiance and cleanliness and - that despite being quite busy, not loud in the least. they were good about spreading guests out. now for the grub!! the bread n butter was quite tasty & generous in portion. the steak was so eff-word flavorful and perfectly cooked as requested. the baked spuds (who can screw that up, tho?) were amply sized and loaded with butter per our request. ooh. & the crispy potato skin was so salty and buttery and deelish! the salads were tasty too. not much love here, bc "you can't make friends with salads" a not-so-wise man one said. we will be back over n again. ps- sorry to disappoint, we arrived so hungry that i don't even think to snap a pic."
"We came here during their opening and they're quite busy. The staff is doing their best to keep up with each table. In our group, we had around eight people and we did the bbq and hotpot special. This is viet inspired so don't expect like a traditional kbbq experience. For hot pot, I ordered the beef bone broth and it was quite tasty. It tastes just pho broth. We were confused at first because it came with dates but it's not the herbal selection. When you start cooking things into your hotpot, the broth becomes very tasty. They provide a nice selection of variety: meat, seafood, veggies, noodles. They do not tell you how much comes with one serving so ask. It comes with a ton of veggies. They might've assumed 1 cabbage was for our entire party. The bbq was delicious too. You have lots to choose from. I didn't see a limit on galbi which is different from every AYCE kbbq place in Colorado. We got everything and it was a lot of food. 2 hours is plenty of time."
"We were looking forward to having barbecue. Since we were in the neighborhood we decided to try this location. We showed up around 5:30pm. Service was friendly, but the meat and the sides were just bland. There are so many other bbq places to go in the springs."
"Best BBQ and comfort food in Colorado. Highly recommend!Service is great and the owner really takes pride in their food"
"Great bar, great people. The bar tender Savannah was wonderful, which made me feel welcome and like I was her only customer. The owner was great. I love the balcony. I love how everybody was cheering for their team! Apparently, the regular Friday night DJ charges $5.00 to request a song??? He wasn't Hyping up the crowd, and I can count on my two hands how many people actually danced. It was 80s back in the day,and the dance floor should have been packed. I was just wishing the DJ had a personality. The regular customers all said "yea he's...)"
"We were in the mood for BBQ and were walking around the mall area and stumbled across this hidden gem! We noticed the reviews and wanted to try it out.The location is right outside the main mall entrance area, and is pretty easy to find. Parking will be a little difficult since it located in the corner. Once we arrived we could smell the BBQ and also sweetness in the air from the ice cream shop that shares the area with the business. We were quickly greeted and the service was great!I ended up ordering everything. Pound of Brisket, Pork, 1/2 Rack Pork Ribs, and 2 Sausage Links. For sides 1 Qt of Mashed Potatoes, double of Mac, and a side of Fries. Everything was reasonably priced and they even had military discount. We even got a free Pork Sandwich with our meal for signing up with the business.Everything was amazing and we highly recommend this BBQ spot!!!"
"This new spot has been on my list since it opened, and my husband and I finally found a time to try it out! They have a really interesting menu with a wide variety of choices, from pho to large entrees like bone marrow, and noodles and rice dishes. Even a great beer and cocktail menu!We were greeted and sat right away in a Saturday night. The place was really lively even though it was late in the evening. Many large groups gathered, upbeat music and fully staffed so that no one was waiting.I went with the shrimp pho and my husband ordered "Bo Ne," which was bone marrow, steak, meatball, over easy egg, vegetables and bread. He absolutely loved his dish! He built a sandwich out of all the fixings and loved it both that way and eaten individually. I really enjoyed the pho, but have had broth elsewhere that have more depth of flavor. Would still order it again, but would also like to give some of the more unique dishes a try. Everyone was very friendly, and we even had a gal come over who I assume was a manager or owner, and she kept checking on us and then offered us a drink of cane sugar and mango. Very tasty treat. Will for sure be back and will bring friends and family here. If you are looking for tasty food, an upbeat vibe, and friendly service, definitely add Com Nha to your list!"

We came in as a larger party of 7 on a bustling Saturday night and the wait was very long. While we waited for our table, we enjoyed some complimentary peanuts in the waiting room. One of the nicest staff members, Sophie noticed that the floor was ridden with peanut shells and took it upon herself to clean up the area. She later noticed that we were still waiting there after some time, and again took it upon herself to see if there was anything she could do to get us seated. After we got seated and enjoyed a wonderful meal and spectacular service from our server Mo, Sophie returned again to give us a small dessert on the house! We all thought that she was so sweet to go out of her way to make our night better. What a wonderful team, amazing service!!

In town from the East Coast and I absolutely love BBQ. I try to support black owned businesses wherever I go. FROM THE DOOR....I knew this was a real deal BBQ spot. You can smell it. I cook BBQ. Eat a lot of it and love small business...non chains, so this was a joy. Miss Susan greeted me with a warm smile and wonderful spirit. She was handling the whole dinning room with the skill that only comes with experience and love for people. Anyway, she offered me a great sample tasting of the sauces. Wonderful touch that just made the experience that much more enjoyable. She gave me the "bad news" that there was no more brisket for the day. I will get back for that later this weekend. The ribs were juicy and smokey. 4 cheese Mac & Cheese was tasty. The meals come with a beignet type of creation that was quite enjoyable. 1)Food was great2)owner is a true pitmaster3)Wife is the perfect host. Going back in the next two days. I want to dine in next time to take in the whole experience.

Come here to get your Mahomey on and watch the Kansas City Chiefs play. While you're at it, grab some seriously delicious BBQ and adult bevvies.Well let's see, we ordered a ton of stuff and even more drinks.Fried Pickles - Off the chain, couldn't stop eating them, even thought we might order another basket full.Burnt Ends - Smoky, good meat/fat ratio, nice looking barkBrisket - Juicy with a great smoky profile.Smoked Turkey - I didn't try it, but my friends said it was good.Flight of sauces - All tasty, from sweet to hot.White Cheddar Grits - I would go here just for these grits.Loaded Mash - Ohlala, creamy and loaded... wow!Hickory Pit Beans - Your basic baked bean.Street Corn - YummolishishPotato Salad - More white than yellow, not my thing.Peach Cobbler - Really there was no cobbler, just peaches and a scoop of vanilla ice cream.Pecan Pie - Dyed in the wool pecan pie snob here, this was worse than a Bama. Apparently dessert is not a thing in KC. hahaha... Drinks - Don't even go there, they have a full bar and plenty of fun cocktails to try.Bonus - They have BBQ shredded jackfruit!PS ~ Don't fear the Reaper. Yeah, only those of a certain age will get this.

Well worth the wait! We were in town for a tournament and found Kealoha's ahead of time. We knew this was a place we had to try. While at the tournament we ordered online. It was a short distance from our hotel so we picked it up on our way "Home". The area where this food truck was located is nested on a patch of grass with about 3 other places to eat. The owners were super friendly, we got to chat with them for a little. If you're from the islands you know that it's the true aloha spirit that these two have. "Aunty" and "Unko" even sent us off with lilikoi lemonade (it was the bomb) and butter mochi that we'll eat later. Anyway, getting back to our order. We ordered a little of everything but I really wanted to try the teriyaki burger. My husband ordered the chicken and ribs, one daughter got the loco moco, I ordered the chicken and the other child got the spam musubi. I will say that the ribs are a must!!! The sauce on the chicken is to die for and that loco moco is one of the best we've ate. My youngest had the spam musubi and I was afraid she wouldn't eat it because she's picky and the sauce was on it. Anyway, I didn't get to try it but she gobbled that thing down in bites. Safe to say, she loved it. Love the whole vibe of this cute little area. Whenever in the area, we'll be back!! Aloha!

Aloha and Happy Holidays from Englewood Co.! It's been awhile since I've posted anything because I only post when I feel it's 'post worthy'. So, I stumbled upon this place after getting my nails done a few weeks ago and I'm back again. Everyone has been super professional and warm! Staci, my server is awesome! I highly recommend this place. The food is consistent and ono (delicious)! For all those who away from their loved ones over the holidays, find a place when where you feel warm and safe. I know I've found mine while here! Mahalo nui loa Longhorn Steakhouse! Sorry I couldn't wait before diving into my meal. Just goes to show how ono the food is! Happy Holidays!

A lot to like and a lot of opportunities for improvement. First, they have a pho broth for hot pot. They have a good sauce bar with a black bean chili paste that I like. There were also some fried items like egg rolls and chicken wings included, but I didn't try that. You can do both hot pot and bbq for $5 extra. The selection was pretty good with everything you'd expect at hot pot bbq spots. Quality was mostly good.Being a new spot, they have some kinks to work out. The ventilation was pretty bad. You and your clothes will definitely smell like hot pot when you leave. The floors were super slippery from the steam and oils, and was visibly dirty. They have you order on a sheet, with reference to a picture menu, but the items aren't the same. They didn't bring out items we ordered on the sheet, and when putting in a second round of orders, they just took it verbally and also got those items wrong. Location is good with plenty of parking, right by the Costco business center.

Delicious, quality BBQ. Everything I've tried (and I've tried just about everything) has been awesome. The smokehouse sandwich is my go to, but the smoked turkey is juicy and tender too. All of the sides are amazing, and the employees are always warm, friendly, and great to chat with.

"The food is decent. Probably not in my top 3 in colorado, but if I could find 10 good BBQ joints in Colorado it would probably be in the top 10 somewhere."
"Unique food menu and decent beer selection. We have been twice and the service was the same both times, waited for someone to take our order and watched our beers sit at the bar while the bartender told our server a story about something going on. Food was good, ordered a salad but got fries, but they were good. The cast iron cook was Yummy! The restaurant is inside a hotel with a new, modern decor."
"Came here for dinner because we wanted some Korean BBQ and it was close to our hotel. We used to live in Manhattan, so we have a high standard for Korean food. I think if this place would be in NYC, would rate it lower. Service was friendly and attentive, they helped us cook and brought refills. It is very laid back place with some TVs on background playing Korean pop and some soccer. They also have outdoor seating. We had spicy chicken and spicy shrimp bbq, and food was pretty decent I would say but nothing amazing. Also was pricey especially considering that place is not upscale at all inside. Overall pretty ok experience."
"Could smell it right when I got out of my gate and knew I had to try it. Quick service and the food was so good. If I had to complain I would just say that the beans were a little peppery, but honestly that is the only thing I could critique (I still ate all of them anyways). Definitely recommend!"
"Stopped by for a beer and Troy the owner was awesome! This place is a great stop, cool local pub with a fun vibe. The decor is awesome!"
"This was suggested by my wife after we toured Stranahan's Whiskey Distillery not too far from here. It's not much to look at from the outside but the food is great! They have daily specials and on the day we went it was "all you can eat St Louis Ribs" which I ordered, it came with 2 sides too. The staff was very attentive and we had multiple people come around to make sure everything was right. I ended up have a 2nd round of ribs and both were delicious, very tend (fall off the bone) and nice smoked flavor. If I lived in the area I'd be back every weekday they had this daily special (I think it's Monday's)."
"Love the smokehouse sandwich with pulled pork and hot link, great combination for a hearty lunch. The baked beans here are my favorite, not crazy with molasses flavor they have a nice BBQ tang and smoke. Favorite BBQ joint in town."
"Whoa... what?! There's a truck in Denver serving Chamoru food -- the cuisine enjoyed by folks in Guam and the Northern Mariana Islands. Picture Hawaiian BBQ mixed with some Filipino influence (lumpia!), and you'll be vaguely close. We ate some excellent Chamoru-style BBQ ribs and chicken, served with wonderfully sticky red rice. And then there's something called a Kerguelen taco -- a citrusy chicken salad, served in corn tortillas. It's sort of like a chicken version of ceviche, at least in spirit. As a bonus: they serve Puerto Rican cookies! And the four women who operate the truck are lovable and fascinating. Seriously, just try it. You'll have to look awfully hard to find the cuisine of Guam anywhere else in this part of the world."
"I can't speak for the restaurant interior, or service but I ordered door dash and this is going to be a go-to staple in our house. I ordered bbq chicken and beef big plates with a side of Mac salad, chili pineapple and a rice crispy treat. The sauce is rocking and the chicken is the best I've had since moving here. They give you a good portion of meat and sides. I couldn't ask for more, truly. Thank you so much, for the best lunch I've had in I can't tell you how long!"
"Everything we tried we so good! We had a brisket "sundae" - brisket, brown beans, and slaw - so super delicious! Our daughter loved the Mac and cheese and love that they have a small portion for only $4!"
"On a lovely fall day, we wanted some bbq and decided to check out this wonderful find on W. Colfax in Golden. They have a nice patio, though it was a bit windy so we enjoyed our food inside. It's very casual, but comfortable. We ordered the Meathead to share, along with four ribs (you can order individually). We chose the beans and potato salad as our sides. All of it was very very tasty. The meat in the sandwich (prime brisket and pulled pork) was fantastic. The sauces were up to the task as well -- very tasty. We actually ordered the ribs as an afterthought after talking briefly with another customer about their ribs -- and we didn't have to order a whole rack. I'm so glad we did because they were equally as good. The staff was very helpful in all our decision-making.Look forward to a revisit soon!"
"Great lunch spot at the Rocky Mountain Airport. Let's all adjust our expectations accordingly -- this is a counter within the airport terminal with seating inside and outside on a patio. You'll order at a walk up counter where chances are a very friendly woman will take your special and make you smile - find seating wherever you want (gotta pick a patio table on a nice day) and they'll bring you your food. When we first walked in my dad laughed, saying I brought him to a cafeteria.... Basically that's what it is. Not a "bistro" per se. Now that we're all on the same page about what kind of location it is, I'll tell you the food is actually good! I was so skeptical when I walked in, but it was good, priced accordingly and you really can't beat the views. Great spot if you're in the area but don't go out of your way to eat here, it is a cafeteria after all!"
"One of the best tacos I've had in Colorado. I was leaving the parking lot of an aging strip mall dominated by an ARC Thrift Store. I had just finished lunch at Bang Bang Asian Cuisine but saw this taco truck by the road. Intrigued I decided to drive by and take a look. Turns out they recently won top taco and salsa awards. Dang...just had lunch and I'm full. What to do...what to do. A good taco is my kryptonite and Taco won. I asked the owner what's his go to taco and he suggested the El Norteno...a Texas style sliced brisket taco with jalapeño salsa. I ordered just one...after all this is my second lunch and I dont want too much. The taco is massive. More like an open burrito with a 1/4 pound slice of brisket. The brisket was tender, Smokey but not over powered by it, and flavorful. Actually top notch brisket. The taco came dressed with cheese, beans and freshly sliced avocados. The jalapeño salsa was on the side...which I prefer. The taco doesn't get overly wet and travels better. The salsa itself is fantastic. It has a bit of heat and is nicely balanced with an herbal tone from the fresh jalapeños and cilantro. The olive oil is emulsified has a creamy texture on the palate rather than being wet. A rather chef-y touch. That salsa adds brightness and punch to a very meat forward taco. My only complaint is that I truly would have been transported to Taco nirvana if I had an ice cold beer with the taco! The gent who was manning the taco truck is one of the two owners. Super nice dude who likes to chat about his love for serving up some of the best tacos and salsa around. He's the mad genius behind the salsa and more "traditional" tacos. His business partner is the master of smoke."
"I decided to try this place today. 03/25/2023. I do not understand why people are saying bad things about this place. The BBQ is on point. The meats (mild sausage/brisket and by back ribs) are great. I will be back again and the service is totally on point. Super friendly and fast. Keep up the good work."
"They were at Resolute Arvada last night.Wonderful customer service! Ordered a nacho appetizer to share - I was thrilled that they had vegetarian green chili! Even better because it was delicious. My friend had the watermelon salad and enjoyed it very much. Order a cheesecake brownie, even if you save it for later."
"Always a joyBbq or hot pot both rock. We come here every few months. Great menu. Only down side is you have to choose between hot pot or bbq, cant do both"
"Excellent chicken bop bowl and Korean Corn Dog (cheese inside plus a hot dog). Spice level 3 definitely had some spice, and 10 was VERY hot, but flavorful. Would get it again in a heartbeat!"
"3 cheers for Smokin Zo's!! Lorenzo Jackson has had a passion for food from a very young age. Raised by his father a Texas native, he grew to love cooking BBQ. His favorite memories from his childhood were barbecuing in the backyard with his father.Lorenzo went on to graduate from the Art Institute with a degree in Culinary Arts. He has traveled all over the world to get first-hand experience in different types of cultural cuisine. He studied with top professionals in Thailand, Peru and Italy. He has worked as a chef at a world renowned hotel, as well as various other event planning companies including owning his own catering company. All his training has ultimately prepared him and has perfected his art for cooking and getting him to where he is today the owner of Smokin Zo's.Smokin Zo's is basically a new local food truck specializing in smoked meats and fresh ingredients!! They have collaborated with other restaurants, while bringing their amazing food to those restaurants. After all, Smokin Zo's is the ideal food truck. Chef Zo enjoys making all his food from scratch start to finish!"
"By far, the best BBQ I have had in many years and definitely the best since living in Colorado. All food is of the highest quality to include brisket, ribs, pulled pork, and sausage. Family owned and run, very professional and courteous. They have won awards at competitive BBQ events which also speaks to their dedication and desire to provide a quality product. Whatever your catering needs may be, they will work with you to make your event successful with fair, competitive pricing. The food is delicious and everybody will walk away happy!"
"$15 giant smoked turkey legs, 8 different sauces to choose from! KC's newest sauce is Jamaican Jerk and it was delicious. His food truck was outside the DMV pumping out all that delicious smoky smell to draw in the customers and man is that the best marketing you could ask for. We were lucky to get 1 of his last 3 legs for the day. Follow him on socials to get his location foe the day and come early because he's gonna sell out."
"This is legit bbq. My favorite are the smoked wings. Beans are great. Burnt ends rich and delicious. Highly recommend"
"Some pretty negative reviews so far, but mine is based more on the professionalism and the awesomeness of the staff. We were headed to a Rockies game and had some time to kill - like 30 minutes. We popped into McGregor Square for some slightly less than ballpark priced libations and snacks. I don't understand the fuss. It's a food court style restaurant. Food was fine. What impressed me was how professional and kind the gentleman behind the counter was. My kiddo asked for a water, and he offered up a CapriSun. Kid happy. Happy kid = happy dad. Win."
