"My friend grew up going here often for a sandwich and/or treat, so she brought me here as my final lunch before heading to the airport. I'm sure I'll have to come back and try other pastries, but I ended up grabbing one that seems like it might have strawberry in it? I didn't ask questions so we'll see how that goes lol We also ordered the ham and cheese sandwiches which come with avocado and tomato. They also give you jalapeños on the side, but I happily gave those to my friend. I was stuffed from just eating the sandwich, which is why I haven't tried my pastry yet!"
"5th for 2022 It has been awhile since my visit and ... and the whole place.... is in shambles. That was my 1st observation. They have moved everything around and made the place look like a fort with plastic screen to separate the customers from the rest of the bakery. This made it very hard to see what they had to offer and I could not even see the menu.My mission for the day was to order bahn mi and compare to Bale La and could not make out the choices since I couldn't really see anything. After confirming with the owner, yes, bahn mi is available and did not know what to get but did see glimpse of combination and that's what I ordered. Came back after few minutes and it was ready and $6 was the damage. Brought it home and opened it up about 2 hours after ordering it. To my surprise, the bread was still crunch, filled with plenty of sliced assorted meats and pickled vegies and spreads. It was pretty large sandwich for $6 and definitely worth it. I think Ba Le has it for about $5 but lot skinnier and also bread is different. Vinh Xuong offers bread that is closer to Italian (softer crust) verses Ba Le being closer to French banquette with hard crust.Only down side is I did not see Vietnamese coffee and I had to go to another store."

"BEST BEST BEST CROISSANT IN ALL THE LAND! Whether you're a sweet or savory croissant connoisseur, you'll find the right bite here. The pastries are made with such care and beauty that you almost feel bad diving into them. That thought leaves you quick, though. The moment your teeth sink into the crunchy layers: you're eyes will light up, dopamine will rush to your brain and you will want more and more! Luckily, I knew this would occur... so I ordered three croissants! Cinnamon Roll Croissant, Reuben Croissant and Almond Croissant. They were all more than impressive and won medals in our hearts: GOLD to the Reuben, SILVER to the Cinnamon Roll, BRONZE to the Almond. Truthfully, someone else could have placed these differently. They were all flawless and uber delicious!!Other great parts: The service is super friendly! There's plenty of spots to eat! The parking is easy! The line goes quick!"
"Best cupcakes I've had. They're light, not too sweet and delicious. Customer service is top notch. I'll be returning for a sweet treat or celebration."
"My coworker and I loved this little gem! Not only are the salad portions huge, but the salad options themselves were great as well. My first day here I got a salad with smoked salmon, and this was super tasty with the parsley vinaigrette. We also had the hummus to share, and the pita bread was delicious and unique. The second day we came for lunch, I ordered the roasted cauliflower pita bowl as a salad- how cool! It was also super delicious, and both the carrot dressing and tahini dressing were tasty. We had to get the hummus and pita again with our lunch because it was so addicting. Great find in this area of Denver."
"Beauty AND brawn, these pastries are the whole package. Not only do they look gorgeous, but they are so freakin delicious and expertly made. The flavors are extraordinary, the dough buttery, the croissant has layers on layers on layers, and on top of all that, it's rainbow inside!! Fun fun fun. The lady working there, I guess the owner/baker, is so sweet and friendly. I left with the best feeling and want to go back to eat everything else... plus seconds of everything I already had!"
"I had a chance to finally stop by this cute bakery in the Washington Park area last week and had a pleasant experience. This place has an extensive menu for both sweet and savory baked goods. When I was standing in line, I had a hard time deciding on which pastry to buy. Interior decors are so eye-catching as well. Everything you see inside this bakery is vintage from 1920's era. It looks like a café in Paris where famous writers like Hemingway frequented (did Hemingway like coffee at all? Am I just making that up?) Lucky me; I ended up getting two pastries with one price, by an accident. I asked for a zucchini feta croissant but the barista (who was so pleasant to me by the way) couldn't hear me well (or the blame is on me; my voice wasn't loud enough) so he put a zucchini muffin in a little brown bag which I didn't notice until I had paid for everything (I also got me a 16oz iced black tea with light ice.) When I politely/apologetically informed him of the little error, he, of course, kindly corrected it by giving me the right pastry and allowed me to keep the muffin as well. He said, "It (the muffin) is for tomorrow's breakfast!!" What a kind gesture!! Both of the zucchini pastries were delicious. I also liked my black iced tea. I believe it's earl grey if I'm not mistaken. They put some (light amount of) cream in it but this cream did the magic. I do drink earl grey with cream in it so I wonder how he knew that without even asking me. Great job!! Right next to this quaint bakery, there exists another cute shop for gift and they are connected so you don't need to go out of the bake shop to browse this gift shop. I had my iced beverage/food in my hand but the guy at the cashier didn't seem it (I wasn't really consuming any of it anyway. Oh wait, I may have sipped my iced tea but I was very careful by not spilling it!!) What a way for two businesses to coexist by having this beautiful symbiotic relationship: sip and browse!"
"Very good bakery!!! Omg a must is the custard donut and beef curry pan. I don't even like curry but the flavors and texture work so well together. The custard donut was delicious and I loved the crunch from the cereal outside! I was a bit disappointed in the matcha cream but it was still good."
"Where have you been my whole life?OMGEEE so so so good and a big hit with our birthday boy and the whole party! I got exactly what I asked for -- a cake for a dear friend that we share the love of volleyball, have a huge group of gay friends and featured he's from Iowa (yay corn stalks and the corn was textured like corn!!) Also the cake was delicious and is my friend's fave -- Ho-Ho inspired so chocolate cake with buttercream icing in layers in the cake! I've lived in Denver since 2000 and this bakery has been around 10+ years -- where have y'all been my life in Denver? I dunno but I'll be back! Their bakery store is totally quaint and just what a neighbor hood bakery should be -- not to mention super friendly!"
"Read about The Salty coming to the Mile High..and was super excited. It did not disappoint. Gorgeous store...crazy busy with a line out the door.Donuts were fantastic...super light brioche dough.Creative flavors and designAll flavors were amazing.Highly recommend."

I was in my "shop local" and "shop small" mood today. When this business came up in my "bakery" search I did a while back, for some reason, I didn't go. Whatever the hesitancy I had back then didn't exist in me today any longer so I wasted no time and hopped in my car. This is definitely a so-called Mom-and-Pop establishment. In the neighborhoods of Highland and Sunnyside where gentrification has become the norm these days, I appreciate a business that humbly exists without losing its true colors. Its appearance inside out looks old but they remain in their original state when it all began however many years ago. I like that, and I SUPPORT!!I absolutely had a hard time choosing which ones to get. Displays after displays of sweets tantalized me to the core. I didn't need to know what they were (I couldn't identify many of them anyway!! You can't be afraid to try something new and different, right?) so I placed whatever that caught my attention on the tray with tongs and headed to the register. A young lady greeted me in Spanish saying "buenos dias" which was immediately followed by "good morning " (she realized that I didn't speak Spanish; wish I did though!!) Some chicharrone pieces, one churro, and a square of some sweet pastry only came to $11 with some change. How reasonable! My purchase experience at this small business made me feel like I was in a very authentic store nestled in a town/city in Mexico. Churro was delicious. A bit of crunchiness on the outside but soft on the inside. It didn't disappoint me in any way!Square of pastry was also good! Tastes a bit like cheese cake but better than cheese cake. This is a dense cake but not too decadent with a bit of sweetness. Loved it!Chicharrone meat was good as well. It became a nice accompaniment to the salad I ate later. Next time...I'll definitely grab a bag of tamales. They looked so good!!

Craven moon cake and was excited they had different varieties to make into a box. I like picking my own and don't like pre boxes where they're all one flavor only. Auntie was so nice and placed my selections into the box. Got rang up and then we were good to go. Yum!

Wow, all of the croissants and pastries here!! First off, so smart to display everything on the table out front. Inside the public market and a pickup window outside if you pre-ordered.ALL OF THE CROISSANTS WERE PHENOMENAL!!! Look at the center of that blueberry cross cut. They don't skimp on the fillings here and the croissants are flaky but soft inside and so damn good. This spot will be my Denver to go now.

The best pastries anywhere. I eat a lot of cakes and they never disappoint when it comes to their cake - but the peanut butter pie is hands down the best thing they sell. Absolutely incredible. The staff is nice, and the place is cute and always pristinely clean!

Awesome vegetarian and vegan options. I love the menu here. Everything is super delicious. Prices are actually a little cheaper than I would have thought. Maybe Because it is a counter service restaurant?? In any case, I will definitely stop in here if I'm ever in the area just because of the food quality. Everything tasted so delicious.Pros:Delicious tasting food. The avocado toast was the best I've ever had. Prices are very fair. Huge parking lot. Cons:The only one I can really think of is that it's a little hard to find because it's in a parking lot with an office building.

We are a wonderful late breakfast at LoDough today. We sat on picnic tables outside next to LoDough. We had a really good ham and cheese croissant, a delicious hazelnut cream filled croissant. I had a yummy almond croissant , crisp on the outside filled with gooey sweet almond paste. I also enjoyed a morning bun topped with crunchy sugar and also a delicious orange glaze. The person behind the counter was kind and thoughtful. A terrific breakfast!

The bakery here is an absolute treasure in Wash Park. Everything I've had here is delicious, and I can't wait to try the rest of their buttery catalog. My only beef is that the baristas are a tad grumpy. Worth a frown for the galette, though!

It was time to pay homage to this bakery as the last visit to this store was two years or so ago. On a very warm Wednesday afternoon (this week) I had a chance to do so.I wonder why this store doesn't have a noticeable sign. I remembered when I went here for the first time, I passed it by without noticing it. That didn't happen the other day but it still looked inconspicuous in a way. It's as if it prefers to exist humbly. If you go here late in the morning or early afternoon most of the items are gone. Such was the case when I stopped by at/around 1:30pm. I managed to find a few good-looking things so I got them. Chocolate Banana (pastry) was very banana-y in the crater; so if you like bananas I highly recommend this one. I also got me a slice of cheesecake (the slices were inside the glass case instead of them being out in the open shelves. The cheesecake was so-so when I had a bite at home. I only ate less than half of it but the very next day I took another bite. Actually it tasted a lot better. I gave a little piece to my daughter and she liked it too. Service was prompt and friendly; a young man at the register said a quick "Hey how's it going?" upon arrival. Like the last time it was very clean inside. I didn't come home being super impressed with the experience but it wasn't a bad one either. I'll make sure to go early next time because I felt like I missed out on the variety.

"Happy Memorial Day bun. My go to spot when I'm in Denver. Some of the best cinnamon rolls I've ever had. We come for the pecan swirl cinnamon roll and the peach cinnamon roll. Definitely is a must try spot. You can't go wrong with any flavor cinnamon roll you try."
"Gorgeous brunch! I've never seen so many poutine options--exciting! Service is super friendly and knowledgeable about the menu.Decor is modern, with a beautiful glass wine cooler as a central feature. I had the ham and gruyere crepe, which felt very authentic Parisian. Husband had the Easter special: confit rabbit Benedict. The hollandaise was a bit more lemon-forward than his liking. We will definitely be back, if only to try the other poutines!"
"Heavenly, delicious Christmas cake, or cake for any occasion! The layered fruit was juicy and fresh, i dont know how they keep the fruit so crunchy and the cake so spongy. Not soggy at all! Indeed the freshest cake and baked goods in Aurora! I will highly recommend this Korean bakery to anyone."
"I called to order a German chocolate cake for my husbands birthday. Ordering was easy and I opted to pay at pickup. Finding the location was a bit trickery (the signs outside are faded) but once I got in there, the bakery was gorgeous! They had an array of different cakes and pastries. My cake was ready on time and was gorgeous and delicious. $50 and fed easily 8-10 people. Can't wait to order our next cake from here!"
"This place is a hidden gem. They have the best pastries, breads and desserts. So many options are available. The cost is low. The people that work there are friendly. Please note, this is a place to pick up and go. No place to sit. Place is also clean and organized."
"Love this cute local place for pastries! I always drive by and finally stopped by today! We got the cheesecake brownies, box of chocolate chip cookies and some kind of apple pastry! Donna was so sweet and even said we could call her if there's a certain pie we're craving and she'll whip one up! Will be stopping by soon! Love this hidden gem!"
"I went in the afternoon on a weekday and they still had a ton of the mini bundts in tons of flavors. It was summer and they even had pumpkin! I had the creamsicle and the chocolate, which were both incredibly moist and the icing was just sweet enough."
"Love the birthday cake we ordered here. I highly recommend cakehead! The cakes are delicious. My favorite is chocolate cake with strawberry frosting. This is a recent cake for my mother's 70th birthday. So perfect!"
"Kinda wanna gate keep this and keep it all to myself...but I hope this little business flourishes! I've been tequenos curious so when I noticed this little bakery next to the dispensary, I thought it was meant to be. But they were close to closing and only had 2 little tequenos left (which I would've taken) but kindly offered to make me something fresh. I waited 5 minutes and it well worth the wait! The tequenos are AMAZING. Soft doughy fluffy savory yummy. Cant be described another way. Tastes great reheated too!"
"I stopped by this afternoon and bought a chocolate eclair to go. I was shocked when the salesperson rang it up to be over $9. It's not that big either. As I was driving home I was mildly outraged and felt that it better be the best eclair I've ever tasted for that price. Once I got home I tasted it and was surprised at how good it was. It has an almost crisp texture on the top of the eclair and then they sprinkled it with a few chocolate nibs that added a little more crispness to it. It was very good. Though I'm not quite convinced it's worth the high price. I would give it 5 stars if it was even a couple dollars cheaper."
"Happy to see a new coffee and bakery in the Regis neighborhood. A great place to work from home and enjoy a tasty breakfast sandwich."
"This bakery shop is located in the same parking lot as Hmart. There is plenty of parking spots in the lot. It is a tiny bake shop and if you blink you just might miss it. I happened to walk by and it raised my curiousity. Why not? Let's see what sort of sweets I can gorge on for the holidays. The bake shop reminds me a lot of the shops in Los Angeles. It's tiny in size and there are baskets you can fill up as you see fit. There is a plethora of sweet and savory treats. If your not mindful it's easy to pick two of everything. For mid afternoon they still had a good selection of treats; as well as cakes to choose from.My picks were mochi, mochi sweet bread and I can't recall the third one but I did get two of each. A few of the mochis are labeled but I'm the ones I picked weren't similar to the ones in LA. It did have the same consistency but different color inside. Also found this white cookie my dad was raving about that my grandma used to make. Some of the other yelpers posted pictures of coffee. So next time I see if they still offer that. Also corona there's no inside seating. The transaction was easy in and out. I be back before Valentines for sure"
"Definitely a place to stop by to try a variety of delicious Italian treats. Met my parents and 15 year old nephew for lunch. My parents insisted we all order the meatball sandwich. It comes on an 8-9" hoagie roll baked in house of course, with 4 medium sized meatballs, marinara, and ricotta. All the ingredients are tasty, but it is a more than a little messy and wieldy to eat, with meatballs slipping out. I wish they had oiled and toasted the inside of the bread so it didn't get soggy, but that's just my nitpick. Would recommend if you like meatball subs. I think it was $12 or maybe $14 per sandwich (as of 6/2024). Technically I could have finished the whole thing but on a warm summer day I just ate half and took the other half home. They also have calzones and a variety of pizza. The pizza looked really good so I think if I ever go back that's what I'll try. The calzones looked enormous.Afterwards we each got a dessert. I tried a pine nut cookie but then saw it was gluten free. The cookie is basically an American style macaron with almond paste and egg white, then topped with pine nuts. Not the most exciting option but it was fine. I also got a single shot of espresso ($2.50). They had a double shot for $3.50. I kinda wish they just sold the double for like, $3. It was good espresso and they served it in a real porcelain cup with a saucer, so kinda fancy. My nephew got a custard eclair with chocolate icing that looked really good. All the baked goods look super-appetizing. One weird thing was the pricing wasn't super obvious when I was looking at the cooler and cookie shelves. They had a few breakfast options. Everyone working there was very nice even when my parents were talking in a confusing way about what they were ordering and if it was for there or to go."
"Favorite Panaderia. They always have a good selection of pastries. They sometimes have tamales ready to go. There is also a smaller menu for lunch/dinner type items with a small area. Also carrying a small amount of spices, beverages, and other grocery items. My family and I love this place."
"This place is so special. Everything about it -- the coffee drinks (Huckleberry Roaster beans and unique Mexican inspired offerings), the house made pastries (the almond croissant! I dream about it!), made to order chilaquiles on the weekends, the super kind staff, the ambiance - perfection. Try the Latte de Olla, or the Mexican Mocha."
"Very good, the dinners were very well done deep in flavor, great hidden secret spot. The bakery goods were over the top, even being full from dinner i couldnt resist had to buy 6 fruit empanadas. The super flaky strawberry was fantastic, they earned their stars"
"Was hungry at the UPS store nearby, smelled the WONDERFUL aroma from this place. Had a gyro (no tomatoes) with a seriously wonderful cucumber and yoghurt relish that was the best ever. Yum. It was full of obviously local people, very middle eastern, a little puzzled why an impossibly white northern European guy was there, but they helped me navigate the odd ordering and checkout arrangement with friendly smiles. But even better - there were several loaves of a fresh, flat-ish bread wrapped up and ready to go. $4 for two loaves. Picked one up for our seminar group. The first loaf disappeared RIGHT away, the second was savored later with wine and cheese. Next time - there was a very odd-looking but deLICious smelling brown loaf that I was told was a nice sweet bread variety. Will try that one next time I'm in town.Walking distance to the Red Lion Denver Southeast. Go there."
"Cute little spot for breakfast or lunch, with yummy British pastries. They offer a nice selection of sweet and savory pasties, with some vegetarian options. My husband and I visited for breakfast, and I devoured a South of the Border pasty filled with eggs, chorizo, jalapeños, onions, cheddar, potatoes, and green chiles. It was very flavorful and each portion is quite generous. My husband picked the Miner, with steak, rutabaga, potatoes, onions, and house seasoning. He also liked it a lot. There are a couple tables both inside and outside, and you can also buy the pasties frozen. Coffee and ice-cream is available."
"The rating says it all. The products speak louder. The best chocolate Babka ever. Lavender sourdough? Yep. Croissants, cookies, pain au chocolat...and on and on. Exquisite delights that are a feast for the eyes. Friendly, outgoing, kind and helpful staff. Retail customers can only get their fill on Saturdays. Get there! Share with your neighbors and friends."
"Look no further! This is a great place to have that very special cake baked just for you. I ordered a large cake for my son's Eagle Scout Ceremony & Celebration and couldn't be happier. Although she hadn't decorated for this occasion before, Bethany had no problems with suggesting some great ideas. The cake (1/2 sheet, white over white) came out absolutely scrumptious and was all but polished off with great compliments. And when you pick YOURS up bring a crane! Her cakes are DENSE! No scrimping on ingredients or anything CLOSE to those grocery store cakes. Try her out; you can't go wrong!"
"We were told there was a soft opening this weekend. The bakery had a few people on it while one of the owners worked to get listed on a social media platform. When she was done she offered us a couple of macarons. We had the Cookie & Cream and Strawberry. Both were delicious. The bakery itself seems small but was brightly lit to show off the baked goods."
"This is a Wash Park neighborhood gem! It's officially 1/2 a mile's walk from me, but every time we walk here, I never regret it. Yes, there's usually a line on weekend mornings, but I often don't mind it. If you don't come early, they usually sell out of the more popular pastries. (We arrived around 11a and they were out of blueberry muffins.) Pro Tip: If you're unable to grab a shaded seat outside, they usually have a nearly empty indoor space (with loads of AC cranking) and a well maintained restroom."
