By the Bucket

By the bucket is a good concept that might have appealed to me more if I had a large group to feed. However for 1-2 people it doesn't create the same value as it would for a full family. The owner was extremely nice and engaging, he took the time to explain how the concept works, give suggestions, and make small talk while we were waiting. I chose the Alfredo sauce which is the only sauce they do not make fresh in house. The food itself was good, the garlic bread was freshly toasted, as were the croutons for our salad. One downside is the cost of up-charges, the cost of adding a protein was bordering on unreasonable, adding a bit more garlic bread was too. In the end we had one meal (with protein) garlic bread (1/4 loaf) a Cesar salad and two drinks and it was pretty close to the same cost of going to a sit down dinner. One other downside is this is strictly takeout. There were no tables or places to sit and eat, so it makes it difficult to use as a quick lunch break spot. TL:DR - Good food, great service, but costly if not feeding a family/group, take out only.

I tried By The Bucket for the first time after reading a lot of great reviews about this restaurant. Patrick was absolutely amazing to deal with and he helped me navigate their menu for the first time. I had the spaghetti with standard marinara sauce and my wife had the penne with the butter/garlic sauce. Each meal came with a hunk of garlic bread too. Our meals were awesome! Great flavor and texture! I plan on going back regularly!

I agree with another review that this place is great for groups or family night which might be obvious by the name "by the bucket" but they do sell "personal sized" buckets as well. You go in and select the sauce, add any proteins, and then you can also add sides like garlic bread or salad. In addition they have sandwiches if you don't want any pasta but I haven't tried those. I would add this to your list if you don't feel like making dinner for your family but still want a hearty option.

Decided to try this place after seeing it on Yelp. The food is good and the customer service was great. They were very nice and welcoming. We will be back to try more!

We were impressed with By the Bucket when we ordered it. The family combo was more than enough for us. We got the spicy sauce which was really good and the meatballs were very flavorful. I wasn't the biggest fan of the brownies but were similar to the dense soft Little Debbie ones in packages. They were able to quickly get the food out within a half hour of ordering it and everything was correct. I saw on the site that they also make subs, will definitely go back and get one of their meatball subs!

Friendly service. Food is prepared quickly while you wait. It is hot and tasty . I plan on going again.

Food was absolutely delicious! Especially loved the Mediterranean salad and meatballs. I was surprised by how quick the service was! Will definitely be back.

For a delivery order, I ordered a small bucket of cavatappi noodles with pink sauce and a meatball and upgraded my garlic bread to cheesy. The pasta was perfectly cooked and the sauces were delicious. Also really enjoyed the meatball! My one regret was not ordering more cheesy garlic bread because that stuff was INCREDIBLE. Also, it was very reasonably priced. Would love to visit in person!

I woke up on a Saturday morning realizing I needed to provide food for 75 people for my parents surprise anniversary party in a couple weeks. I happened to see an excellent review on Nextdoor that morning for By the Bucket. I stopped in to try the food and it was great, so I proceeded to book the catering with Becky. I could not be happier with that decision. She took care of everything. On the day of the event she and an assistant arrived about an hour prior to the start and set everything up so guest could eat right when they arrived. Everyone loved the food and there was plenty of it. We sent a lot home with friends and family. It work out perfectly for us. I highly recommend them for dinner or a big catering event.
