Stopped here for a beer with some friends - I got a gingerbread-style porter and my husband got the Miracle on Second Ave - eggnog (rum and cream brown ale). The freshly grated nutmeg on top was a fun addition! The beers itself were both very tasty and the person pouring was super nice. The only reason it's not a five was the ambiance - the inside itself was very cozy and roomy, but it was a Friday night and we were the only four people in there for a while. Wish it were a little more lively and the location is a bit out of the way, but would go back if we're in the area!

One of the best places for classic styles, sours and saisons, and well-crafted experimental styles around. As something of craft brewery enthusiasts, Burns had been on my list since first coming out to Denver four years ago. Somehow, we didn't make it to the brewery, just a small space in an industrial park, until now. But, we will absolutely be back. While I wasn't as big a fan of the barrel-aged stout on draft as I'd hoped, most everything else knocked us out. The ube, sparkling Australian ale was incredible, a subtle and nuanced beer unlike anything I've ever had. The wild ale was worthy of buying a bottle, up there with Side Project and Casey for sure. If you can make it to the brewery on a Sunday, they do a great kolsch service with light fare. Not only is the price point great, but their kolsch is great, easily the best I've had in Denver. There's not much to the taproom itself, a bit hot in the summer with a lack of noticeable AC, but you'll see the owner and brewer pop his head in to chat and ask about you and your enjoyment of his beers. If you can't make it out to Casey Blending and Brewing in Glenwood Springs or Side Project in St. Louis, enjoy the next best thing right here in Denver!

We went for Kölsch Service for the afternoon. A neat experience where you receive a glass of Kölsch and a coaster with your name and initial mark when you start your tab. Over the course of the afternoon your empty glass is whisked away and a new glass of Kölsch provided along with another notch marked on your coaster. At the end of your session you pay for the number of notches.Burns is a great place to begin with, but this was extra fun. The servers were dressed for the occasion in German costume. We had a large group. We asked and they were ok with us pushing tables together. A fun outing for groups large and small, I recommend checking this out.

Great people, great beer. I've known Wayne for 20 plus years and have always been a huge fan of his beer. I have friends that live in Denver and shoot me his beer, because I always look forward to anything I can get from his Brewery.

I can't complain; my beer is exceptionally delicious. I could say that it is one of the best lagers I have ever had in Colorado. The vibe is great, and I love the details of the space. The Service was excellent! I love to come to places when it's not too busy.

Went here on 7/12. Looks like they have extended their seating into the parking lot. Also looks like they are using plastic cups. We only went there for To Go beers. You have to wait to be seated. Looks like they have very limited seating but sirens out. Beers sounded amazing. Bartenders were wearing mask. Will def be back. Cheers!

Absolutely five stars. Incredibly well crafted beers and a great environment to enjoy them. Many styles of beer were represented and all were excellent. I've been a craft beer aficionado for 25 years, lived in NOCO for the last 4 and I feel pretty confident saying that for me, Burns is the best brewery in Colorado! Outstanding

If you like beer, I mean really like beer, Burns Family is an absolute must visitPros-Their beer is bananas good. Belgians, stouts, wilds - you name, these guys have it and kill it. Some of the best BA beers I have ever had and each one unique from the other. -They offer half pours for all beers-Everything is extremely reasonably priced-Lots of to go selections-Plenty of indoor seating and limited outdoor seating-Extremely covid friendly Cons-Somewhat limited hours-No food-No pets, no kids (not a con for me, but should be pointed out)-Not a TON of sessionable beerAbsolutely can't wait to revisit this spot and highly recommend this spot for all beer lovers.

Burns Family Artisan Ales has absolutely the best beers I've had in years. Their selection of traditional styles is great and the quality is exceptional. Porters, stouts, Imperial stouts, Belgians, barleywines, Oktoberfests, and IPA's were all on tap and done very well. If you appreciate quality and variety you will love Burns Family's taproom. They also sell bottles and cans to go. You will not be sad!
