Brooks Place Tavern

Table of seven. Food arrived all together. Warm/hot on arrival. Delicious burgers and flies, bison meatloaf with mashed potatoes. Amber ales. Open floor plan with bar, casual ambiance. All enjoyed. Got to our play performance on time at The Stage Door.

Three stars is probably accurate. Locals and passersby stop for a place to get out of the cold, hang at the bar and listen to live music. The food is not the draw but not going to keep People away either. The steak dip was good, the tots were shite. The side salad was big for $6.50 and the soda was constantly fullThe chicken Brooks is best if you add pickled jalapeños and mustard. Haha fries were decent. Service here is great which makes up a bit for so so food. Lots of seating in booths, tables, high tops and a bar. Rustic inside with 13 tv's with every kind of sport to watch. Definitely a sports bar where Trumpers hangout. The live music was really good and I think this is a nice feature.

Used to come here to get potato skins. One of the only places I still saw those. Today came in and now they have potato wedges drenched in queso. So yucky and not a real trade.

Visited Brooks Tavern for dinner last night and it wasn't the best but also not the worst. For starters, our service was good! I enjoyed the Nachos & spinach dip the most! The waygu burger was not my favorite. It was a little overdone and slightly cold. It seemed like it was sitting out for a bit before they served it to us. Parking is very easy as it's in a plaza with other business' so there are plenty of spaces! This would be a great place to visit to watch a sports game and have a couple of drinks!

I had this Sammie at the house... a couple of hours after lunch. THE BEST COLD FRIES I HAVE EVER HAD! Crispy-crispy... crunchy perfectly seasoned. I can only imagine what they would be like fresh. The Sammie is grilled... I believe with some salted butter. Amazing. 4 stars only because I did not go in.

En route to Buena Vista, and finding ourselves hungry, my husband and I decided to give Brooks Place Tavern a try on our way through Conifer.++ Brooks Place Tavern is a great place to catch a game! They have tvs and sports banners scattered throughout the large space.++ We chose a jalapeño popper burger with sweet potato waffle fries and a chicken tender basket for our meals. Everything was cooked well and quenched our hunger.++ Since I wasn't driving, I chose to sip on a good ol' bloody mary with my meal. It was just what I needed.While everything was "A-OKAY" during our visit, nothing in particular was super memorable. I'd give Brooks Place Tavern another try if we find ourselves in the area.

Don't let "tavern" throw you off because the food here is amazing! I had the portobello burger, my hubby had the brat-mac and cheese, and my papa had the burnt tips with sweet potato fries. All were delicious and I couldn't stop eating and taking bites from the other plates. Definitely a place i would eat at again. Service was timely and professional too!

stopped on our way to red rocks amphitheater for a quick pre-concert meal. started off with some delicious chicken wings (half Buffalo / half Cajun dry rub). They were good sized and well cooked. everything id want from chicken wings. Western burger was delicious, fun and hit the spot!! The open faced roast beef was so filling and yummy. Perfect mashed potatoes and mmm over Texas Toast? My mouth was watering!! paired with fun and fruity drinks, this was the perfect pregamer!!

Food was very good all the way down to the fries that came with our burger and rueben and both meals were good sized portions. Service was right on top of everything. Relaxed casual atmosphere. Pricing was very reasonable. Our first experience there and it was a good one!

Never a bad time always good food .. It's like your neighborhood bar/restaurant, good classic food Ruben is always good burgers are great . If you had/have a bad time it is your fault. The staff is great. When come once I promise you will come again!
