Brewery Bar II

Seriously one of my favorite places. It is all about the green chili... that is if you want to call it that. The "sauce" is awesome. The food here sticks to your bones. I know that people tend to either love this place or hate it. Those that hate it are wrong. My standing order is the #1 which is a smothered burrito and chili rellano. Both are excellent, and of course, smothered in their version of green chili. I also want to give a mention to their salsa. It is excellent.The service is always great, the food comes out quick and hot, and the staff are always friendly and service oriented. Brewery Bar is a regular in my rotation.

We've been coming here for 30 years now and nothing has changed. It's your classic hole in the wall, no frills, needs a serious makeover place to go for delicious Mexican food. We never get anything but a smothered burrito with chips, salsa and cheese because the green chili never disappoints. If you can't tolerate spicy, get the mild or 1/2 and 1/2. Paired with a margarita and I'm a happy girl. Servers have always been friendly and they are always hard at work, running around. Tip them well! They deserve it.

BB2 is a unicorn. I've been coming here for 40 years. Now we live out of state, but we make this a stop, most every time we get back. It's not going to be everyone's favorite MX food, but it has a strong following for a reason. I stick to the staples Chili Relleno Special, Hot Green, and maybe a cheese enchilada or burrito smothered too. Chips and salsa, margs, beer are all spot on too. Kudos for excelling for as long as you have.

It has been a long time since I've been there! Now I know why! The food was awful! I had chili rellanos they tasted bad and the mild green chili was no good either! On top of it all the service was non attentive and slow. It was rated as one of the best green chili. I highly disagree! The place is atrocious, very dirty! I won't be returning and I suggest you go somewhere else!

MEXICAN HAMBURGERS!! That's all I have to say. Every time I am in Denver, I go for their incredible mexican hamburgers with their "secret" chilli. My dad has been going to the Brewery Bar for over 5 decades. He even gets chilli shipped to his home in California. This is a small, historic bar/restaurant. It is the heart of Denver. If you can make an effort to go for lunch or dinner, I highly recommend it. Post up at the bar to watch your favorite game. The founders grand daughter will be there to serve you. I can't wait to go back. Any negative reviews you read are people that don't understand what the BB2 is all about.

Lunch with coworker. Decided to eat here as they have a huge parking lot and yummy food. We were greeted and told to sit at an open table. Chose a booth and sat. The server greeted us right away. They had a good lunch crowd. She came to get our drink order and returned with them right away. We studied the special and then the menu. It was difficult as I wanted a Chile relleno but wasn't sure what I wanted with it. In the end I chose the chille relleno alone as I wasn't that hungry. He had the Chile relleno and cheese enchilada with beans. She brought chips and salsa and that was delish. The salsa had a little bite to it. So good. The food was a weird combo for me. My dish was warm and cold at the same time. The Chile relleno itself was warm but the sauce was a little like cold tomato soup. Not my fav. His dish was fine. Will still come back as we have been here before and they are usually pretty good.

Terrible service waited 10 minutes for waitress when she approached with a big smile on her face we asked if she could wipe off the table since it was not clean she said with that smirk on her face did we sit at a dirty table after telling us to sit anywhere,she actually said I'm going to have to ask you to get up and find another table instead of just wiping it off and walked away. We did get up and went to another table at a different restaurant. This place has been one of my favorites for over 40 years and because of a lazy noncarring person like her I'll probably never go back. Who treats people like that. 0 rating for service .

I have been coming here since 1986. I order a crispy chile relleno with hot green chile every time. They are amazing!

I can absolutely recommend this food often to friends. It's delicious! The service is always excellent. BUT I CAN NOT recommend the place because the last two times I've stopped in for a meal I was greeted at the door by the most noxious sewer smells coming from the toilets. It would be better walking past port-a-potties in the parking lot than walking into that stinky ambience. As they claim, the rellenos are the best but carry out may be the way to go.

OMG I love this place no One compares to them specially with their green chili there are big chunks of pork and awesome flavor I've never had anything like it before keep on rocking with your bad self I'll recommend it to anyone anytime good job brewery 2 I love you
