Bradford’s Grub & Grog

We just went to Bradford's for lunch after a 3 year absence. With news of a new chef, we were very pleased with our lunch. I had the mussels, delicious. My husband had the Reuben sandwich with onion rings. Sandwich was huge, rings delicious. And my margarita was mixed very well!So happy to see Bradford's improving. Berthoud needs more good restaurants in town.

Five stars for the service and the fries. One star for the food. I'm visiting from out of town and have enjoyed other visits here in the past but tonight I had the driest chicken I'd ever had. The fish and chips had a smell and were burnt. The mashed potatoes had a strange under taste and were runny. I don't think I can eat here again but I hope they fix these issues for future patrons.

This for the Sunday brunch. I was the only one in the restaurant when I ordered so they weren't slammed in the kitchen. I will say the service was friendly amd attentive except for the fact that they didn't look at my dish vs what I ordered before they brought it out. My over easy eggs were over well. My home fries were dark brown and overcooked. The steak was tender and medium, not medium rare as I ordered. Not a big deal overall but if you're not busy, shouldn't you be nailing the meal?

My gf and I went here for the 1st time last night. They did not have clam chowder, so I shared my meal. It was 8 pm and we both weren't hungry. A young girl seated us, brought us drinks. Later, she came to take our order. No name was given. I asked what came with the steak (nothing was listed). She did not know. I asked if I could get a baked potato with sour cream, veges, and bread( she didn't know if bread came with it) so I ordered toast on the side with a salad. She came back and said they were out of baked potatoes, so I asked for mashed. Food was brought. And instead of toast she brought 3 dinner rolls. No butter, so we asked for some. 10 minutes later she brought a small bowl of melted butter for dipping. I than asked for reg butter. The place was not busy at all. Finally, the butter came and sour cream for the baked potato we didn't get. As we ate, we realized, we were not asked how we wanted the temperature of the steak. We think our server bussed tables only.Although the food was good we were surprised that the service was not. After we ate we went upstairs to hear live music. Main reason why we were there. 9:45 we tried to order a drink. The two bartenders ignored me for 5 minutes while they just stood there. I Don't drink so my gf took charge and went up and asked the female for a White Russion. She didn't have the ingredients. This was a shocker as this place was suppose to be an upscale establishment.I felt the owners should know that our experience was poor.

The kids chicken was burnt and hard onion fries were gross and terrible burgers where good and amazing in all recommended the burgers and that's all.

Cherry lime mule was delicious! Wings were saucy and tasty as well. Service was friendly and fast.

The food and service here was absolutely amazing! The ambience was perfect! Highly recommend!

Great food and service! Had the BBQ Beef Brisket and it was wonderful. Great Smokey flavor and light homemade BBQ sauce. Sat on the patio.

My steak and eggs didn't taste bad, but they didn't really taste like anything. I thought it was interesting that they have eleven items on their menu, but over thirty drink options from the bar. Normally a small menu is a good quality in a restaurant because it means they do a small selection of things well. That's not the case with Bradford's.

Bradfords is a Berthoud staple. We have been coming here for a while with family and friends for various occasions. Everyone is always so nice and I love that they have a salad bar. It's hard to find those these days. Everything we've gotten has been good. My partner loves their fish and chips. Tonight was extra special. We were evacuated from our home due to the Alexander fire and Bradfords gave us dinner. We are beyond grateful for their generosity and kindness. Tonight going there we were given the gift of some normalcy. They also have updated their menu and the food was great!! Forever grateful for the owner and staff there. Give them some love! We know we will.
