love this neighborhood bar. so friendly, and the food and drinks are TO DIE FOR.they have cheap strong cocktails, and a self serve beer wall with 7 beers and one cider on tap. they have a huge comfy patio to hang out with friends.their new mexican style food has a huge history in denver. their new chef is from a famous family who had three jack n grill restaurants. they were featured on a famous tv show like diners, drive ins, and dives. it's my favorite green and red chile in colorado. he has been operating a food truck for a while and now has a brick and mortar place (Oct 2024).they have enchiladas, burritos, burgers, quesadillas, sopapillas, all the good native new mexican dishes. please support them because we need them to be successful :-) !!

I think this bar has created an idea that might spread around the globe. Pouring your own beer and paying by volume you can decide how much of a taste you want, not what is dictated to you by a server. There are catches. So sad the taps weren't working but our server was happy to accommodate us. Went with some of their shots (cucumber and lemon drop) from their machine but the highlight of our trip was our snack of fried zucchini made by their sister food truck, Rockabobbie's.

As my wife said, "a great little find." Small spot, limited menu but the food is really good. Family run place. They have a lot of beers on tap and a full bar but only one tequila.

I stumbled upon this place after visiting Bruz Beers down the street and was so glad I stopped in! It was Thursday night and they had $4 beers and a great selection. The owner was super friendly and welcoming, and the vibes were great. I will definitely be back!

A great local spot for drinks and food! Everyone is so kind and welcoming. Fast and amazing service from Bree and Luke every time I come in! Definitely pay Boombox a visit! Great prices too!

Food is so delicious here. I love the concept of pouring your own drinks with the card. The music here is hands down the best music I've heard at a bar in Denver. The service is great!! Everyone is so lovely and friendly.

The food is fantastic! I ordered the red chili bowl and one beef taco. Both items were deliciously good-plenty of pork and seasoned perfectly that we ordered a "to go" of the chili for later! Hubby had a burger that he enjoyed very much. His amber beer was also a big hit! The staff were really friendly and immediately made you feel comfortable and welcomed. We will definitely be back-happy to have found this place!

Menu needs improvement. No spice options. Service needs improvement. Ambiance was good but T.V needed sound while watching a basketball game.They had no subtitles either.We had no clue what they were saying. Music was only on one side of the bar. Paintings were nice. Atmosphere was clean. Everything was over priced and had only few options. No jalapeños or any type of spicy peppers. Margaritas came with no salt or sugar around the rim. Menu was super small and the food should've been better and food was super crappy. This is Colorado and not New Mexico. Salsa was good and chips were fresh out of the fryer. Beer was good too.MEXICAN PLACES NEED TO COME WITH JALAPEÑOS!!!

Drink selection is great, food was delicious! I had a really amazing hamburger. Staff was super friendly and the music was awesome!
