PRICEY but good... I ordered the (3) chicken tenders and mom got the no sauce 6-piece wings.1) Excellent food temperature, like it's supposed to be, for all poultry...2) Pricey lunch... $25... !?!?!Sign of the times, I guess. Cheers!P.S. - DO NOT EAT AT THE KFC (Ken Caryl) location until they close it and hire new staff because YOU WILL GET SICK and/or a disease from their food! See my review of them this past 102424!

This is closer to a 3.5 review. Met my kids here for lunch. It has a fun menu, with four levels of heat. Kids went for medium, I tried mild. We also had an order of fried pickles. They, too, were good but not great. I ordered the smallest sandwich. They don't have a gluten-free option, so I asked for "no bun." I got one anyway. Didn't eat it. Did eat the fried chicken without picking off the skin. It was good. Not great. Very crispy, but the chicken was a little dry. The fries were very good. They're twice-cooked or something. Really yummy. I wasn't impressed with the small quantity of food that you get here, for the price. My sandwich had ONE chicken tender. It wasn't huge. We had combos for an extra $5. Iced tea is sold separately, not as a fountain drink. So my only non-soda options were blue Powerade or water. Meh. I don't drink soda, so ended up with a blue tongue and a sugar high. The sauces are good. But I think that Angry Bird or Wing Wok are better value. The chicken sans bun just wasn't enough, so I had to eat all my fries. Kids got bigger sandwiches. They'd been here before. It's a clean, bright space, and the cashier was cheerful, if inattentive. I did say "no bun" very clearly when I ordered.

Went here per Yelp search for "black-owned restaurant". Upon arrival for prepaid pickup cashier with severe acne, asked me for name. Provided last name. She seemed thoroughly confused & looked as if I was lying. I showed order number & she had this look of "I forgot to spit in this". I'm being honest. None of the flavors from the mac, pickles or wings are our people. Not one customer was in the restaurant. Makes sense. This is corporate food. Nothing from the soul here. Tastes like frozen artisan dinner. When you go to a cookout & you see food with just one scoop missing, that's this. I want my $44 back.

Food has been consistently fine, for the most part. They still keep the place bright and clean. The service, however, has been up and down, but worse on average overall.Sometimes I get service with a smile, sometimes I get attitude as if they're doing me a favor. I've come in on and off since they opened, but lately I look less forward to visiting.In the latest incident, we tried to phone in an order to maximize our schedule, but they refused to start cooking until we physically got there. Kind of ridiculous. Yes, let's punish everyone because you're worried that you'll get burned by a prankster. There are plenty of other food options around, and if this keeps up, then I'll just take my business elsewhere. Not sure where I draw the line, but it hasn't been crossed yet.

I ordered chicken wings asked them for extra crispy. Chicken should be cooked at 165° to eat safely. I received mine at 135°. Extra crispy they should've been closer to 175 180°. I don't know if these people are trying to get people sick or what.

The worse chicken we have ever tasted, covered in a red powdered dust, spice and a mouth full of powder. This is terrible and the service is not much better. $25 for 3 tenders and horrible sandwich. please don't waste your money.

The food here is very delicious with really good portions! The customer service is amazing! The whole restaurant is very clean including the restrooms. When you sit down to eat inside the restaurant it has really good music that brings a good vibe in enjoying your food!(: If you haven't tried out the burritos I highly recommend trying both(one comes with Mac and the other doesn't) with the sauce that comes with it. Very delicious! (:
