Birdcall - All Natural Chicken

Chick-fil-A who? Birdcall is the answer for your chicken dreams! Birdcall has chicken sandwiches (available crispy or grilled), tenders, gluten-free nuggets, and salads. You can also swap chicken for a vegan meati patty. I'm amazed that they cater to so many different diets. There is a variety of dipping sauces to make everything even tastier- my fave is Birdcall bbq. They serve all natural tractor soda, milkshakes, beer and hard seltzer at this location.The seating area inside Whole Foods is small, so this is a good location to eat with a small group or get takeout. Please note that the only way to order here is through touch screens or QR code. No cash accepted.

I'd heard about the Tikka Masala chicken sandwich from a few friends and was determined to try it before the end of the month. I walked into the Whole Foods where Birdcall is located and straight up to the touchscreen kiosks located on the wall. After I inserted my card, I was ready to go, selected the sandwich I wanted, opted out of the combo and checked around the corner to see my name and the time remaining until my order was ready.I was able to peruse the store since I knew the amount of time I had, then came back to see the countdown change from one minute to "soon", which then stayed that way for a good five more minutes before they finally moved my completed order into one of the bays for pickup. If I'd known that "soon" meant five more minutes, I wouldn't have rushed back!The sandwich itself was okay - the chicken was FABULOUS and the brioche bun was pillowy soft. As for the "tikka masala" part of the sandwich, it was definitely more of a salty curry sauce. No tikka masala flavor at all, but I was still very content with the quality of the chicken and the bun. I'll definitely go back, but likely will try one of their classic sandwiches next time, and not fully trust the time listed on the wait board at this location.

Came here and picked up food on the way to our house. We got 3 of the chicken sandwiches with fries and tots and they were all delicious! Chickens very tender and juicy and the portions are large. It is located inside of a Whole Foods which J found kinda interesting. They do have a bar that you can get some beers from. Some seating next to Birdcall and more seating outside of the grocery story. Service was great and quick.

The food was ok. The tator tots were served to us cold. The service was excellent. The ambiance is weird eating inside Whole Foods Market. I expected to eat in a restaurant not a market. We checked this restaurant out because we had a coupon for buy one, get one free. If we didn't have this coupon, I don't think we would have tried this spot. We had coupons for two other locations. Maybe, we will check it out. We couldn't find the restaurant and walked around the block before we found it inside a high-end grocery store.

That was seriously the driest chicken I have ever had in my life. The nuggets I got five instead of six so that's fun. Also none of the sauces I ordered just ketchup packet. Then when I started eating the nuggets it was insanely dry. It truly felt like a waste of money for that one. I do NOT recommend it. The burger was better at least. It wasn't as dry as the Sahara. It was decent but not the best. The bun was good and soft which was nice. The veggies are fine on there and the sauce was decent. Didn't feel like a lot of sauce was on it but it was better then not having sauce you paid for.

I know they make everything here with good ingredients, so I don't feel the guilt when consuming. But I couldn't help and question myself why, why would I come again if I don't enjoy the taste of the food? It's too healthy, it's too real, it doesn't have any other taste profile except salt or no salt. It's just... boring. Like homemade food (in the context that I'm not a good cook). When I dunk my taters into ketchup I'm expecting that huge contrast of crispy, salty spuds colliding with the syrupy, sweet ketchup. Not in this case since they use the "good ketchup". What ended up in my mouth is a taste profile or salt and vinegar. No, I'm not complaining about healthy, fresh foods. I'm just saying that I'd go to a juice cleanse bar if that's all I want. If I'm in the mood for fried chicken, I want bad, real bad, fried chicken!

It's usually pretty good but I ordered the 10 piece chicken nuggets today and 6 of them were raw! I had to throw them out sadly.

One of my favorite spots in Denver for a quick lunch or dinner. I always get the same salad every time I go with fried chicken. The chicken is always cooked to perfection and never over done. I find the sauces and dressings (all made in house) to be perfect. My order is never wrong, even with making substitutions to the items. Ordering is quick and easy on the iPads. I also love the locations they have throughout the city.

First time customer with a terrible experience with manager Liv. I ordered some additional dipping sauces and when he gave me the wrong ones I asked for the right ones. He then called me a man child for getting frustrated after he told me that he clarified with me 3 times. It's not about being right here... it's about being respectful and treating customers with care. Even if I had ordered them wrong and the communication was wrong, all he needed to do was make the correction. Telling a customer that you clarified and gave me what I ordered is unnecessary - just help make it right.

Really bad chicken. The worst I've had in a long time. Overcooked, dry and stringy. Like jerky. No flavor. And service was horrible. Been to three locations and they're all bad. Save you my money and avoid.
