Bird Dog BBQ

When you walk in and the smoke off the smoker hits you like a southern Boi fighting in a rough and rowdy match for a can of Copenhagen, you know it's legit. Did the 2 plate meal. A bit expensive at 24$ but, was good portions and the two meats, brisket and pulled pork were on point and filling so no issues. Sides were awesome, I would swim in a gallon of the mac and cheese if I could. Don't sleep on the brownies or cobbler. Treat yourself, we all die anyway.

Small BBQ joint tucked into a shopping center. The moment you enter, the smoke aroma hits you. Tried the 1 meat Regular dinner entree. The turkey breast was very tender and juicy, with a hint of smoke. The Mac and cheese and Cole slaw were great sides. Definitely will return to try more meats!

We used to go here regularly when we lived in Colorado Springs. We left the Springs in 2017 and after 7 years came back for a visit. We went back to Bird Dog BBQ with friends for supper and it was as good as we remembered. Our meals had generous portions. They tastes great. Prices were as expected in 2024. We will always come back here when in the Springs. I'd recommend you have a meal here as well.

Love the smokehouse sandwich with pulled pork and hot link, great combination for a hearty lunch. The baked beans here are my favorite, not crazy with molasses flavor they have a nice BBQ tang and smoke. Favorite BBQ joint in town.

I don't know if I'm missing something but I have been here twice and both times got dry flavorless brisket. The place itself is awesome and the staff is nice as can be. But I just can't get past the dry meat. The sauces are delicious! But why the meat isn't cooked in that delicious sauce is beyond me. To be fair I haven't tried everything there so maybe just the brisket isn't cutting it. Meat should be seasoned at the very least.

Great shop! Delicious pulled pork sandwich and killer potato salad. I'm a dummy and accidentally ordered to a different location. When I showed up they made the plate for me and sent me on my way with no grief. I told them I'd just drive over to the other and they insisted. Outstanding service!

We have been Bird Dog customers for years. Have you changed your recipe for your beans and your Cole slaw? Neither tasted the same tonight and the cole slaw has zero flavor. Please change them back!
