This place is what Castle Rock needs. The food, the ambiance, and the service are all top notch here. The menu is not extensive...it seems that their approach is "we're going to do a few things really well, instead of trying to do everything."The salsa and fresh guacamole are excellent. The carne asada taco with "Gods butter", are some of the best tacos on the planet. My wife had the Dorado burrito with Birria, it was also excellent. The key lime pie is a great way to end an excellent meal.We are already planning to go back soon.Yes, it is on the expensive side ...but I'd rather pay for quality, than over priced crap like at some of the trendy, new Mexican places in town.

Castle Rock probably didn't need another Mexican restaurant but if they had to have one, this is a good addition. Can't wait for warmer weather because the patio looks like it will be a great place to enjoy a marg! We came in later on a Saturday with a group of 6 and were seated quickly. Most tables were full. Chips and salsa trio were great--I will say that one of the salsas wasn't super great (the red) and could have used maybe a little more lime or salt but the other two were unique and really good. The house marg was appropriately strong and a good price point. Our group all got fish tacos or birria tacos. I love that birria is always on the menu, as most places, it's a limited menu item. It was fantastic. The fish tacos were really good but I do think could have used more fish--the tortilla/topping ratio to fish felt pretty off. Definitely will be back!

I hesitated to post this review, because it's a small place and I don't want too many people to go Everything is great about it! The ambience, service, food, and drinks were all outstanding! The eloté skillet and salsa flight were both really good, and I can't wait to try the rellenos that a neighboring table told me were the best they'd ever had!

Our new favorite Mexican restaurant in Castle Rock! The service is fast and cheerful. The restaurant itself is decorated beautifully, very tasteful. The house margarita is perfect...one of the best I've had in a Mexican restaurant. We started with the Elote. It was delicious and we loved the presentation. We had tacos and Carne Asada dishes. We shared the flan for dessert. The flan was good. Nothing exceptional about it though. Next time we will try the Keylime pie! We will definitely be back! Maybe there's hope for the Castle Rock restaurant scene after all.

I am so excited to have such a great new place in Castle Rock! The atmosphere is so colorful and feels authentic. A friend recommended the Salsa Trio to start with. It included a variety of flavors... lime and avocado, smoky, and traditional red salsa. All amazing! We enjoyed a couple of entrées. Large portions and a delicious blend of traditional flavors. The service was on point. (Thanks Jamie)

It's as if a gringo was throwing a cinco de mayo party. The decor is Instagram-worthy but the food fell short. We ordered the salsa flight. The red sauce was marinara. The orange sauce was just a smoky pepper concoction and the green was guacamole salsa you find at the store. The birria tacos were decent but the carne asada burrito lacked depth or inspiration or corazón. I received one refill on my tea but my guest wasn't asked if she wanted a refill on her Coke. Keep trying Bien Y Tu. You might get there.

We went for lunch on a Sunday. Everything was spot on. The vibes and decor are so so good. The guac was a little bland, but everything else was very very delicious. Wish the chips and salsa was free...

Boy did we enjoy this dining experience! Previously known as Next Door Bar, and one of our favorite casual spots in Castle Rock, we were super skeptical about another Mexican restaurant in a town that is way over saturated with Mexican cuisine! The inside is hardly recognizable. A whole new look to include more seating, macarame, stained glass and foilage (not sure if plants are real!) It's no wonder it took nearly 2 years to redo. Food was fantastic! Hubby had the Lawsuit, friends had the birra tacos and rellenos. Everyone raved! I had the bowl with blackened chicken and a fried egg. It was delish! We also tried the salsa flight which I highly recommend. Service was good but a little distracted. Only complaint is my Arnold Palmer was late and weak and my egg was over cooked. We will definitely be back!

Absolute fire! Not a huge fan of Mexican food in general but this place is amazing-- not good but amazing! Best Margarita that I have ever had and the Elote dip and Quesa Birria tacos were fantastic. Coming back----often!

We were blown away by the visual on Instagram and social media only to be disappointed. My wife had the fish tacos served with flour tortilla and the habanero aioli. I had the carne asada and daughter had the quesadilla. The three salsa were lacking, red salsa tasked lake pasta sauce, smoky was decent and I liked the green but again it was super mild. The guacamole was good several times I found myself looking for salt shakers. I did like the elote the most they were thrown for a loop and I asked them for a Paloma overall visually stunning but food lacks sabroso. Watch your bill I had a key lime pie and flan added my mistake. Tough night for the servers they looked really busy maybe shortstaffed. The decor was flat out beautiful. One and done.
