Beer Depot

Most places near Tennyson and 38th suck but The Beer Depot is old school North Denver with a nice remodel. It was 2 for 1 and the first round (three beers) was 7 and a quarter. Priced right and a great vibe. No Frills friendly close to Denver's own silicon valley just two blocks away.

Fun place , Red is a great bartender. Great local hang out place And real friendly service

Horrible place. Charged me $14 for a bucket of Budlights went back for a second bucket of Budlights and was charged $17.50.

I cannot explain how amazing this bar is. Just go. So many posters of just faces on the wall. But like Marylin Monroe in a frame level shit. Sitcom lighting. Random fake motorcycle in the ceiling kinda vibe. $5 pbr and Jamo shot. Don't ask for a Corpse Reviver number 2 here fucko. You wanna find an underground unsanctioned bare knuckle boxing match to gamble away some money on? Talk to Jim in the back with the 82nd airborne hat. Jim's seen some shit. Guys if you're still reading this the name of this place is Beer Depot. Not "The Beer Depot ™" they couldn't be bothered with the pretentiousness. Beer Depot wants nothing but joy. Buy knock off Gucci cologne from a Guatemalan guy here just go with it baby that's the vibe in 2018 at Beer Depot. Go to more places that have no idea who Paul Ndlovu is they just play old country songs and also mad joints from The Weeknd for some reason it works baby who cares just come. BEERDEPO bruh I'm telling you it's the one FUCK WITH THE VISION.

$1.50 PBR's at all times.They have a shuffleboard.They allow smoking inside and we reeked of smoke after being in there for an hour, which was a drag.Shocktop wheat on tap for $2.50.Surly bartender.

I echo the review below - smoking allowed indoors, really? And the bartender was the least excited I've ever seen for us having brought 12-15 people into a dead empty bar on a Friday night. We left as quickly as possible. What a bummer!

The Beer Depot really surprised me when I went in for the 1st time. From the outside, it may seem a little rough, however your 1st step in the door you will be pleasantly surprised with the decor & overall size of the bar! The bartenders are very friendly & the bar often has free GRUB on the weekends for their customers. They really know how to treat the loyal customers as well as the new. Cheap beer & drink specials everyday! Give them a try!Oh yeah & they have shuffleboard & a nice pool table too!

This is what it is. A quaint old school dive bar (I say "dive bar" with much affection). It's clean, drinks are cheap, and it's dark inside. A pool table, juke box and live music on the weekends. They also do free hot dogs and hamburgers Saturday afternoon just like any family non-corporate type joint might do back in the day. So yeah, I'm a fan. Just as an fyi, THERE IS NO SMOKING ALLOWED IN THE BUILDING ANYMORE. thank gawd.

Wanted to love this place as a nice local dark, old school dive. At first I was sold, but some of the customers and even staff started making one of my friends a little uncomfortable, so we left.

Over priced for the lousy beer they serve. Not a place I would recommend. Bar tender was not the least bit friendly. So many better dive bars.
