BC's Sports Pub

My wife and I moved into the neighborhood in early June. We have driven by BC's Sports Pub daily throughout the summer and kept saying to each other that we needed to check them out. Well, now that summer is winding down and all our big house projects are finished, we stopped into BC's last night for the first time. I was pleasantly surprised by this little bar. First off, it's definitely divey, but in a good way. It's small but no too small. It has dim lighting and is definitely a cozy little neighborhood hangout. I was surprised to find out it's a mini pool hall as well. My wife and I ordered a pitcher of beer and played 4 games of pool. I believe the owner was playing at a table next to us. He was very friendly during our time there and made sure we had everything we needed. We had a great time at BC's last night. This comfy little dive is definitely going to be our go-to neighborhood bar!

I love playing pool and just found this pub! Plenty of pool tables and they're free on Sunday! Amazing local bar with great bartenders

The bartenders here are great, Jakki killed it - juggling beers and stayed ahead of our two for beers over happy hour. There is pool and great music. Would recommend.

Charlie is THE BEST bartender at any bar I've ever been to. Makes my hometown bar have a great name to it! Keep kickin ass girl!

Typical neighborhood bar... friendly staff, good pizza, decent beer prices, maybe they won't have always the best crowd but it's a fun place. They host Karaoke nights, they are the official bar of the neighborhood soccer league (at least this season) and they have a pool table... Just keep in mind it's a dive bar and keep your expectations low and you'll have a good time!

My husband and I always pass this place and decided to finally try it out. It was a Friday night and this place was packed, it clearly has its usual customers, although I'm not sure why. We walk in and it smelled like chlorine, smoke, and wet dog. Our waitress was great, we ordered a gin and tonic and a Shock Top. I'm not sure how you mess up those drinks but the gin and tonic was sweet and funky tasting, the Shock Too didn't taste like a Shock Top, it was very weird. On top of that, there's no AC. I don't get the attraction, I would say if you've never been there before don't bother going.

So BC's is absolutely a dive bar. If you don't like dive bars you're not going to like it so don't bother. That being said, I like BC's. After passing the place 100s of times and saying we need to stop in, we finally checked it out. So the food is pretty much nonexistent. From my understanding they have a deal where they can order you a pizza or something like that so we passed. As far as drinks go, they had some kind of a "2 for 1" deal going on that I didn't understand. We said "yeah sure, whatever" as we ordered but boy did we get a surprise. Hubby ordered a beer and I got a g&t, but when he finished it, the waitress brought another beer! We were surprised but figured that was the "2 for 1" deal and it must only be on his beer. WRONG. When I finished my g&t, another one showed up! I have no idea when they do this deal, but I will absolutely show up again for 4 drinks for $7. Makes me feel like I'm in college again!

You absolutely need to stop in and see Carson in the evenings - She is an awesome bartender - Better com in and say Hello!

Garbage. One bartender for a Halloween party. Had a costume contest and karaoke contest. Closed the the sign up for the costume contest but let the regulars win, even though they shows up late. Total garbage. Took over 45 minutes for a drink.

I went in today to have some drinks and play pool with a couple of friends. We played 3 rounds in 2 hours. So we weren't hogging a table. i bought a couple of drinks, but was shamed by the bartender for holding a pool table when my friends weren't drinking. We wrapped up our game paid and headed out, because at the point it was obvious that the bar tender didn't want us there. I had a $9 tab and left a $2 tip (I would of tipped more but the bartender had already been rude). My friends also tipped. The bartender followed us out to call us out on low tips and told us we don't have bar ediqute. And this bar is really only for regulars. I live across the street, and was planning on being a regular. But not anymore.
