After 2 failed attempts to get Mother's Day lunch on our walk (one spot was out of bread so no sandwiches and the other closed early) we decided to pop over to Locavore and try out one of there booths. We hadn't had pizza in awhile so we decided to try Basil Doc's. My husband and I split a Quattro Formaggi pizza. It had all the typical cheeses you'd expect but the goat cheese was what stood out to me. It only took about 12 minutes and we took it outside to eat on their little patio with our pup and baby. I really enjoyed the thin crust that had a nice chew but was also crispy. The only knock on this pizza was the price of $30 for a 16 in... I think I'd rather come back on Tuesday's when they do $12 cheese pizza. It was good but not for the price.

Title: Scrumptious Margarita Pizza with Excellent Crust at Basil, Docs PizzaI recently tried the margarita pizza from Basil, Docs Pizza, opting for takeout due to time constraints. Although I missed out on the ambiance, the presentation of the pizza was appealing. The standout feature for me was the crust, which was absolutely delightful.Admittedly, I overlooked the fact that this particular pizza doesn't include sauce, so I was a bit surprised. However, despite this oversight, I found the pizza to be really good. The absence of sauce didn't detract from the overall enjoyment, and I appreciated the simplicity of the ingredients. If I had one suggestion, it would be to consider adding a touch of sauce to enhance the flavor, especially for those who may not be aware of the traditional absence of sauce in a margarita pizza.Considering the quality of the pizza and the reasonable pricing, I would certainly return to Basil, Docs Pizza for another round of their delicious offerings. Overall, it was a satisfying experience, and I look forward to revisiting to try more of their menu.I recommend Basil, Docs Pizza to anyone looking for a tasty margarita pizza with an excellent crust, and I'm excited to explore more of their culinary offerings in the future.

We really like their pizza. They provide vegan cheese so that us dairy free people can eat here too. I do have 1 big issue that would keep me from going here more...all toppings are 2.50. It costs the same to get a tablespoon of chopped onion then it does meatballs. That makes no sense. Please adjust the prices of veggie toppings vs meat to make it fair for all. Thanks!

I'm glad Basil Doc's is back on the Northside. The new location inside Levers Locavore is straight ahead when you walk through the entrance. Same flavors, new spot with much easier parking. The store hours listed on this page are the breakfast hours. Pizza through the PM.

Normally I love their breakfast sandwiches. I however would avoid the brisket biscuit breakfast sandwich. The meat is too tough to bite into and has an unusual flavor. I had to throw the sandwich away. The other sandwiches are good just avoid the brisket.

Just yum. Old school pizza at its best! Plus $12 pizzas on Tuesday. Their pizza crust is the perfect thickness. Thin, but not "thin crust" - if ya know what I mean.
