Hard to find store at night because sign is not the type that lights up. Signs on both side are lite so this one is dark at night.

This is supposed to be fig sauce, goat cheese, and pepperoni. The fig was so sparse I couldn't even taste it. And I don't know if they forgot the goat cheese - oh no I see a tiny bit of it. Man this was disappointing. As someone who is a regular and brings friends and family there, I don't think I can do so again without fear of being let down.Usually I am thrilled to have pizza leftovers, but this was so overcooked as is that leftovers resembled cheese and crackers.I have included a pic of what it should have looked like

I ordered delivery and was happy that is came on time and everything I ordered was in the order. The pizza crust was very bland and there was very little sauce if any on the pizza. I paid $2.5 for onions to be added I expected to actually see onion. I had to search just to ensure it was added and I found one piece of onion. The salad had lettuce, a LOT of mushrooms, and what looked like an entire tomato sliced. Was it worth the price I paid, no. If it was half that cost this review would be completely different, but way too expensive for what I received. It is a sad day when one person spends $50 bucks for a small pizza and salad. I can't speak to the ambiance because it was delivery. Considering the price for a small pizza, I doubt I will return.

This place definitely has its charm. It has all the makings to be your favorite local pizza spot. But there were some things that I wish or just hang onto the next level. The tomato sauce that they had was so fresh and tasty and it stood out. But having things like cheese sticks, really could make their sides really pop. The breadsticks were good, but on their own they really did not stand out to me. If they had cheese incorporated to it, it would have been unreal. The pizza was good and the seasoning was right but the flavor felt like it was missing something. I can't quite say what. It felt so close though to being something of big greatness. You try for yourself and let me know what you think. Ultimately this is a good spot for pizza that is going to be a higher level than the traditional chain spots.

We live in the neighborhood and basil docs is our go to for pizza! Sometimes we eat on the tables out front, but moreso--takeout!They seriously have the best pepperoni ever and overall the pizza is delicious! Always cooked to a crisp without being burnt on the bottom.

I've had some pretty bad pizzas in my life, but this one was historically awful. It came to me lukewarm, with tiny, cheap pepperoni and under-cooked dough. The sauce had a weird, metallic taste to it. Blech! And when I called to tell them that it was not good and I would like a refund, I was placed on hold and then ignored. Okay.... So I will never order from them again and I will warn as many people as possible that they would be much better off buying a frozen pizza than ordering anything from Basil Doc's.

Absolute worst pizza I've had in Denver. Holy shit this pizza is so dry it's borderline inedible. Overcooked to hell and back, then back to hell again for more roasting. Overpriced as hell, worse than Dominos. I beg you to believe the other terrible reviews. This place is horrible.
