Bar Standard

I've only been after 9pm but super fun spot for a night out! I can't speak to day drinking or HH but can confirm there will be good vibes and good music for the late night crowd.

All I ever do is dance. They find some magic reason to kick me out because someone in management doesn't like me, AFTER i paid my way in that is. PATHETIC, fed up with this dump.

All I gotta say is- a shout out to Mikey!!!...she was soooooooooooooooo awesome and sweet, and chill when she heard about our date night! Haha. I absolutely love her! A shout out to the BEST BARTENDER IN DENVER!!!! Thanks for making our date night special!!!!!!!!'n. Go to the dance bar upstairs! It won't be beat!!! Literally dancing when I type this hahahahahaha

My team and I threw a party here for ETH Denver.We had a wonderful experience with the staff at Bar Standard, the party was well executed and patrons had an excellent time.Each floor has its own unique vibe, sound systems are top notch, and there is a really beautiful energy here.Would highly recommend this club.

I attended a Win Butler show here and was surprised by how much space there was on the dance floor. There are multiple bars with affordable drinks, clean bathrooms throughout the evening, and different vibes in each room. There is a decent amount of seating upstairs as well, and I got super close to the stage! I don't think I'd return unless they had a show I wanted to attend, but it was perfectly acceptable for the evening.

Just want to say these pictures are a huge misrepresentation of the actual view. I regret not taking a picture of the "view" but the outdoor areas are not open and are gated. It felt like we were caged. Certain parts of the club had awesome seating areas, but it was a really dark vibe and not what I expected at all

Bar Standard - one of my first and favorite clubs I got to know in Denver. I first decided to show up to a STEAM show (a weekly pizza party/house show promoted by theHundred, where they include artists from all over the world and major monthly shows). I love this place because it gives the locals a chance while still bringing in artists who can bring the house down. There isn't much space to sit, but honestly, you won't want to be sitting anyway because there is always something to dance to. The bartenders are amazing and so fast, they've always got something fun to talk about. The people who attend shows here are from all walks of life and everybody gets along. Bar Standard is a part of multiple bars within the same area, so you can explore depending on the evening but my favorite part is the rooftop that's available during the summer.

Ok so real talk, I deducted one star here because this place is anything but standard; it out-stands every standard that I know and it is straight up outSTANDING (no, I'm not a rapper).But then I added a star because the Mojito I had here literally made me see Ghandi brought back to life in real person (he was wearing a Patagonia vest because it is Colorado) because it was so transformative. Thumbs up to the vibe here bowl of soup one hundred. I'm not a rapper.

Came here to dance with a tribe of 12 ladies for my best friend's bachelorette weekend. We were told by one of the club promotors that we would definitely want to reserve some tables to ensure that we had a place to sit. I'm from New York City, so if you tell me we need to buy bottles in order to reserve an area I'm all for it, but I expect the place to be packed and bumppin...Maybe it was an off night, but the club was pretty dead until about 11:30 PM (even then it was far from crowded). We definitely could have done without the tables and bottle service, but we made the best of it and had fun on the dance floor. The bartender was also super friendly and accommodating. Fun Fact: Bar Standard is actually connected to several other themed bars via a labyrinth of hallways and staircases in the basement. I highly recommend wandering around and exploring the different music and vibes.

Super chill vibes and crowd. You can literally show up in shorts and flip flops straight from your pool party. Great view and summer breeze from the roof top terrace. Full bar including premium liquor. Not a whole lot of places to sit and lounge but you're gonna be dancing anyway. The crowd is a mix of a bit of everyone. Where else do you see ravers wearing angel wings mingle with flower children, S&M couples, gays and ballers? The DJ was hit or miss, though. He'd play a good song and get the dance floor packed, and then some weird stuff losing everyone. Instead of transitioning to a better song, he'd just watch the crowd stand around.
