Attic Bar & Bistro

This bar and billiards spot is the place to watch a high-stakes game. My friend and I were here on Saturday. We felt the energy as our team made a dramatic comeback to win the game by one point.The bartender kept us going with water refills and drink refills throughout the game. I didn't have any food, but some of the pictures I see on Yelp are worth trying out.

This place is great. Service was very nice. Friendly, attentive and prompt. Enjoyed the food! Had the Attic Cheesesteak and the Chipotle chicken sandwich. Both were very good. Salad was super lettuce-y nice drink specials. Cool dining area. Nice little place for a drink and some food. Would definitely recommend checking it out while walking around the area!!

the attic would be a better bar if the bouncer was an empty can of beans. Bouncer thought he was the shit and was absolutely right about my New York state id being fake, so he brought out his expired ID book given to him 5 years ago from the cops. If he actually looked on the id, he would have seen an issue date being 2022, a year where they changed the enhanced ID for New York. After arguing with him for some time at the bar (he let me in originally) he 'let me off tonight' as if I did anything wrong. Attic, please get a ID scanner so you don't rely on bouncers who's egos make it almost impossible to enjoy your bar.

The people that work here at night are always on a high hours and they willliterally belittle you!!! Do not come here unless you want to be talked to like a child! I have come here on multipleoccasions with a real ID and have not been let in, on top of getting the police involved. Super rude and have never been treated this way. Unacceptable.

I go here often, and love it, however last night at the attic I was disappointed in their service. I bought one beer and tipped a dollar, making the total $7. However after looking at my bank records this morning, the tip was magically changed from $1 to $10. Needless to say, nobody in their right mind would tip $10 on a $6 beer. This is theft. Make sure you very clearly write out your tips, or the staff might change it and steal from you! The woman who served me was brunette and about 5'3" to 5'5".

Waited in line for a quite a while to enter, but was turned away by the bouncer despite because they didn't want to accept my legitimate Colorado digital ID without a bribe. Very disappointed that minors with fake IDs are allowed in, but legal adults with legitimate state identification are turned away and extorted. Scummy, don't recommend!

Im writing this review about the attic because I had a bad experience last night. I usually have fun at the attic because its a lively college bar. However, one night I was playing pool minding my own business and went to go get a drink and for some reason the bar tender said I was cut off. I literally did nothing that would indicate I needed to be cut off from the bar so I was pretty upset about that. I then asked my friend if he could go get us some drinks because for some idiotic reason I was no longer aloud to buy drinks. Then as soon as my friend handed me the drink an extremely arrogant and rude bouncer snatches it from me and tells me and my friend we have to leave. I believe he said his name was Michael, but he is the fattest one there so if he was lying, which he probably was, its easy to tell who he is and he also had a patchy beard. He then kicked us out without giving us a valid reason why. I know this because we asked him 10 times what the reason for kicking us out was and he couldn't give an answer because he's probably delusional and wanted to go on a power trip that night. It was also my 21st birthday and they said "idgaf"

My friends and I tried to get in at 11 PM. We waited 20 mins in line. Once we got to the bouncer, he kicked us out because our friend is Chinese-American. He is 23 and has a Colorado ID because he has lived here his whole life. However, the bouncer must be racist because he wouldn't let us in because my friend is Chinese. He isn't even Chinese, his family is from Vietnam. I will never come here again.
