Albina by the Sea at Denver Milk Market

I was in the area for a work trip and stopped by here for dinner on the way back from the office. The fish tacos and the clam chowder were mediocre. The temperature on the clam chowder was less than lukewarm, and the cook was nowhere to be found after it was given to me, so I couldn't ask for it to be reheated. It wasn't busy at all either. I wouldn't give this place another shot and will try another vendor when I'm back in town.

This place in is Denver Milk Market, a food hall type of eatery. The cashier said that they auto include tip and they tax the tip too, so my $16 meal turned into $22.I got the Fish and Chips. The portion size of fries is really large. They were decent but not as crispy as chips should be. The fish was also pretty flavorless. It was super oily and not that great overall.Don't waste your time here.

I wasn't sure what to expect since there wasn't too much of a description on the lobster roll. And there is a difference between a Maine lobster roll and Connecticut Lobster roll (IYKYK). It was expensive just due to the added service fee/gratuity of about 22%. I paid roughly $34 for it. You order at the counter and they give you a buzzer so you can continue to walk around or find a table. I was able to find a spot and waited. I got a Coca Cola from another stall since they had only Diet Coke left. I got the sandwich and it looked stuffed! I liked the parsley flakes. Although there was a lot of lobster in there - it was mostly the small claw pieces (if you know what part of talking about). All and all - it was just ok. I've had better that we're not as expensive.

BRING BACK THE SHRIMP AND CHIPS. The shrimp and chips were the best thing on the menu. Bring it back and I'll change it to 5 stars.

This is a food counter inside Denver Milk Market! You order at the nearby butcher counter and pickup the food from Albina's counter. FYI they charge an automatic gratuity called the CHP fee. Shrimp po boy was great! And the fish and chips cant go wrong either.

The milk market is always a fun place to visit with all of my friends getting dishes from different restaurants. We were there on a Saturday around 1pm and it was surprisingly slow. There were plenty of tables available and we could maneuver around the market without any crowds. I got the fish and chips and my order was ready pretty quick. I thought the fries were pretty good. The flavor of the fish was delicious but they were so thick that by the time the inside was cool enough to eat the breaded part was completely cooled. Overall, I would return and try again!

So good! So fresh. The dairy block is such a cute area. It was hard to choose a place bc everything looked so good but then I saw someone eating this poke bowl and I couldn't pass up. Everyone working this was kind and quick. Can't wait to go back!

Ordered the fish n chips and they were worth the wait! Cooked to flaky perfection and served with seasoned fries and tangy tarter sauce. Split it with my friend for a perfect afternoon snack.

Ordered clam chowder, probably the worse that I've ever tasted. It was warm, no clams and all potatoes. Not very good and i won't make it back here again. It cost over $8 for this, I'll just take it as a loss. Don't go here unless your totally tipsey and can't recall what you ate or are eating.

Great food selections of seafood! As you walk up you can see the cuts of fish and there are a few spots to sit down to chow down. The lobster roll and crab cake we delicious and authentic and the fish tacos were well balanced with a little heat. Definitely would stop back in for some good seafood.
