Gonna try and make this brief. I'm From Texas with half my family in Mexico. Adelitas on Broadway was a rare treat for me as I live in Edgewater and like to stay closer to home. *Enter Adelitas Edgewater* long story short, did take out for vday . Expectations from eating in at the Broadway location just blown out of the water. Truly the most delicious, out of the ordinary, made-with-love-tasting Mexican food, in the area for counties wide. THAT SAID AND EVEN MORE, this restaurant is impressive regardless of the theme. Anyone would be stoked. Bring your families. Bring your dates. Bring your parents. Tip well. Keep coming so my favorite local restaurant succeeds and I don't have to find a new one. Thanks fam. I'm hungry and having hot flashes. Keep Adelitas in Edgewater. Here's what I ordered that made me forget I was angry:Chavidecas, veggie, avocado sauceFlautitas (best I've ever had. Little guys with thin crispy wrap. There's like 8 of them)Pollo con crema Camerones con crema. Their crema hongo sauce is better than anything I've ever had. Edit to add, we order or eat at restaurants for 60% of our meals... typically, for 2 people, our meals range from $50-150 including tip or delivery. Don't sleep on Adelitas Edgewater. I'll dance around outside this place just to keep them in business.

Was on my way into the Edgewater public market when I realized Adelita's had finally opened and opted to go here instead. When I arrived the restaurant only had two other parties but it quickly filled up within 15 minutes of me sitting down around 4:15 pm on Taco Tuesday. The entire team was working together to ensure the satisfaction of every guest. They were all actively engaged. Donny was a phenomenal server and had a lovely aura and presence about him. He was there to refill my drink and touch base often. I started with the salsa flight and it arrived within 5 minutes of ordering. All three sauces were solid. The kind of salsas that get better the more you eat them. It was taco Tuesday so I tried the veggie, pollo, and pastor tacos. All of which were good. Not mind blowing, but for $2 each, they are more than a bargain. The tortillas were a little bland but the overall tacos were yummy. I would definitely come back to try more again. They also arrived within 5 minutes. And then, lastly, the Flan. I like to think of myself as a flan connoisseur. This was very good flan. As good as the one at La Diabla on Larimer which I feel sets the standard for good flan in Denver. And the total for my girl lunch? $25.99. That's it. These days that's a steal for 3 tacos, chips and 3 salsas and large portion of flan. Will be coming back with the girls next time!

Dang, this was really disappointing. When I saw they were opening in edgewater I was pretty hyped. Reddit and online communities in general seemed to all state that adelitas was one of Denver's best Mexican spots, and I love Mexican. I'll just run through the experience from start to finish. Service: it was a Friday night, so waits are understandable, but it was annoying to be told "15 to 20 minutes" and it actually took 36 minutes to get our table. Maybe a nitpick but we have a baby and we value the time estimates lol. Not a massive gripe. Vibe: good vibe, they were playing a Cumbia playlist, the atmosphere feels right. Quite active as the place was packed. Food:Starters - 1. Chips and salsa trio - 5 stars, they nailed it with the salsas. 2. Guacamole - 1 star. Just awful. This really set the whole experience off on a bad foot. I'm almost certain they added sour cream to the guac. If not, it certainly had a strange, sour flavor, and little fresh avocado flavor. Not sure why a restaurant would do this, is this a cost saving thing?3. Flautitas - 1 star. These are like mini taquitos. Chicken was bland and dry as could be. Mains1. Puerco con chile colorado -- this was decent, 3 stars. The sauce and seasoning was good and I enjoyed the rice and beans. The pork itself wasn't super tender, however. 1a. Corn tortillas - 1 star - it came with some unbelievably bland corn tortillas, I think they forgot to add salt or something. Pretty rare that the tortillas actually detract from the meal imo. 2. The special -- this was actually pretty good, 4 stars, my wife was pleased.

We moved away from Denver and on a recent trip back, I was excited to go to my favorite Mexican restaurant in the area. We decided to check out the new spot in Edgewater. As expected, the food and service did not disappoint. However, my only complaint is that one of my group's food wasn't fired with the rest of our order and came out a few minutes behind us. Our server was great and immediately recognized as our meal was brought to us that one order was lagging and ensured it was delivered as quickly as possible. New spaces always have a few hiccups and overall it was still a great experience.

Love the new spot! Same amazing classics, just in a fresh, fun, new space over by Edgewater Public Marketplace. $2 Taco Tuesday & daily Happy Hour specials. Service is casual, quick, & friendly. You can see the strong teamwork throughout service. So glad y'all opened up the same concept on the western side of the city. We'll return often!

I couldn't be more excited to have my favorite/best Mexican restaurant now in Sloans lake! The staff is extremely attentive and helpful, our waitress made some great drink suggestions and helped me decide to go with the sopes, which were amazing! The new locations decor is beautiful and the hand painted murals really bring an amazing feel to the place! We loved everything that we had and can't wait to go back again! Exactly what Sloans lake was missing!

I love Adelitas, so I was super excited to see they had opened a location in Edgewater. Their food always tastes delicious and fresh, and they have a number of vegetarian friendly menu items which can be very hard to find at Mexican restaurants - and the vegetarian menu items don't taste bland! Parking is much easier at this location than the Broadway location since you have use of the Edgewater Public Market's parking lot. I fear that I will frequently be dining in or getting takeout here going forward.

Saw this opened up close to us and super excited. The spot is great. Tons of parking and things to do. Friday night was a 40 minute wait for 2 but worth it. Glad to have another staple restaurant on this side of Denver! Margs and the molcajete were amazing
