We were headed the other direction on Golden Road when this adorable Boston Themed Food Truck caught my eye. How could it not!! Immediately, I thought "Clam Chowdah" and "Fried Clams!" We did a quick spin through the next traffic circle and headed right back to A Bit O'Boston.Sho'nuff, that menu had the Fried Clams, Clam Chowdah and MORE. Lobster Cakes! Lobster Rolls! Authentic Boston Baked Beans! The best Potato Salad I've had this side of a southern church picnic. Old Bay seasoning on the condiment table. This joint is authentic. We got one "Back Bay"(Clam Strips with a side, he chose fries) and one Lobster Cakes with a side (Baked Beans for me) and we HAD to sample the potato salad after seeing the person before us dig into theirs. Very glad we did. It was outstanding. As was everything! The clam strips were more like clam clusters, and appeared to be hand breaded. Light and not greasy at all, definitely had some Old Bay in that batter! The Lobster Cakes were, wait for it, FILLED WITH LOBSTER. (See the photo. You won't believe it.). These are fry-bread type fritters, filled with huge chunks of lobster and cheese and deep fried. Absolute heaven. The baked beans were filled with bacon and the flavor of the love that went into making these traditional favorite. Karen, the owner, is the real deal. A nor'easter to the bone, and she loves enlightening the uninitiated to the ways of Boston, whether it's her wicked awesome food, her New England Patriots paraphernalia (You'll forgive her quickly once you taste her food), or her super friendly nature. Get in there now, y'all. This place is about to be HUGE.

Bit O'Boston is wicked good! The chowder is world class and possibly the best I've ever had. Karen told us the recipe was handed down from her grandmother. She made it fresh just hours before we ate it. The Lobstah Rolls were small but perfect with just a hint of mayo and celery. The rolls were buttered, toasted and stuffed with claw, knuckle and tail meat. The food is yummy and Karen is warm and wonderful!!!

We tried this food truck for the first time on St. Patty's Day, and it was delicious. I am allergic to fish and Karen made sure that there was no cross contamination. The truck is spotless and the food is Amazing. Make sure you order the lobster rolls and the old fashioned Fluffahnuttah for dessert! We will definitely be back.

The food truck visited my neighborhood yesterday and my family and I decided to give it a try. When we got to the truck, everything crab cake related was sold out and several other items began to sell out quickly while waiting in line as well. We thought this was a good sign, however, when we received our food, it was less than stellar. All of the seafood items were frozen, which is understandable here in Colorado, but they were cooked very poorly. The cod in my fish and chips order was so overcooked/fried that it was like eating crispy batter with mushy fish inside. My husband and son tried the hot pastrami sandwich that was not "piled high" as advertised and was actually a lot smaller than expected. The clam chowder wasn't enough to make a meal at all and needed a roll, French bread, oyster crackers, or something to make it a little more substantial. Another family member tried the lobster roll which was incredibly dry and left an upset stomach for almost 24 hours now. Although not overly pricey for a food truck, I would definitely not recommend trying!
