The 715 is truly a neighborhood staple. A dive bar with a neighboring pizza joint. Somehow, many of our nights have either started or ended here. I agree with other reviewers, if you're not a local you can feel a bit unwelcome, but the bar staff is very friendly. If you're new to Denver and want to just enjoy a place that feels local, come here! Once it gets late enough on a weekend it turns into a club with a DJ.

Holy crap guys, I gotta tell ya...If you wake up each day dreaming of getting completely hammered (like me), you are gonna LOVE 715 club!!Getting absolutely blotto here is truly the equivalent of a 22 year olds first back-packing trip through Europe...You'll have experiences that may define the entire rest of your life...The feeling of getting off a plane in Paris, while listening on your headphones to "Only Time" by the timeless genius artist Enya, KNOWING deep in the marrow of your aching bones that you're finally HOME, in the city of love, croissants, and that weird hunchback-guy who loves bells...That's exactly how walking into this bar feels. EXACTLY THE SAME. Then you sit down, order a chocolate martini, a shot of Mallört (TM), and a large mug of spaghetti and meat bulbs...Well they won't serve the spaghetti, and maybe not the martini either (cause that's a drink for jerks and interior decorators - NEITHER of which are welcome here), but they WILL serve the Mallört (TM) as many as you want, as long as your friendly, and somehow you don't get drunk at all (What's the point?!)Then whatcha do is sit down, shut up, sip on your highlife, and dare to dream, because the possibilities are endless! Seriously guys, last time I was here I got COMPLETELY TANKED and then punched a street sign on the way home, and stole a riding lawnmower. Life hasn't been the same since, and I think now I'm starting a landscaping company... Anyway, what I'm trying to say is, in the words of Shakespeare, "I'll be back" to 715 sometime soon... and I look forward to the sexual eye contact we will definitely be sharing. Save some spaghetti and meat bulbs for me!

This dive bar is located right in the middle of Five Points. It is dark inside with a big screen and plenty of hangout space. They also have a pizza window which is really good. The drinks are cheap and the vibe is super casual which is common for a dive bar. Sometimes the crowd can feel a little unwelcoming if you are not a regular but the bartenders are always friendly.

We had a great time. Bartenders were more attentive to the regulars but still friendly when approached. Crowd and music are hit or miss but our night lacked neither. The DJs were playing an incredible mix of songs from the 70s to present. Really versatile and something for all dancers. As soon as he leaned into the reggaeton, Afrobeats, and 90/2000 hip hop we were sold. Singing and dancing without abandon. Good mix of seating option. Front bar, tables in back, and outdoor patio. The secret win- is that the pizza places"famous j" is accessible through the patio! Tasty pizza!!!

Visited this dive bar since it was listed in Westword's "100 Bars We Can't Live Without". What a pleasant surprise. Cheap drinks with comfy barstools. Perfect place to have a long conversation with a friend. 715 Club is full of history, and the owners have tried to keep as much of that intact as possible. Art deco signs and partial panels adorn the walls, including a sign from the original club that reads 'Dancing Tonight''. Graffiti cover the stalls in the bathroom as art. The bonus to this visit, was the street-side window to Famous Original J's Pizza. A crisp NY style slice full of meat lovers toppings. Definitely a place I will return to when I am in the Five Points area.

Let it be known. The homies own this bar, so if I could give it 5000 stars I would. But don't let that skew this review because it legitimately is a really good bar that is in touch with the community. I've been here for friends birthdays, pregaming band practices, linking up with friends when they're in town and even just a pop in to get pizza. Then many times for different events they have hosted. It is always a good time and legit a safe place for all walks of life, all crowds, all varying degrees of hipsters and dorks and is predominately filled with hot people doing hot people stuff. Prices are fair, the bartenders are really quick and sell good service. Most nights there is somewhere to sit and hang. Patio is a great time and has a lot of charm. Peer into the five points and something will eventually happen I promise. Do you remember when this used to be a weird taco shop thing? I do, cus I'm an old dude from "Old Denver." This was like the one spot to get food during a Cervantes show back in the early ohts, pretty sure I saw At the Gates and had a bite of a tongue taco here. Now its a super happening bar ran by and occupied by cool people. But you already know that, this spot has been a gift to the community for years and years now.

When I imagine my perfect, usual day, I imagine it's a relaxing Sunday where you haven't had to do too much that day, spent in the company of a good friend.I imagine walking to my local bar and having a whiskey. I imagine a friendly bartender with a local kindness, a sporting event on TV with no sound, and a diverse mix of folks standing inside - regulars and out of towners. Patrons, both young and old. That's exactly what I experienced at 715. It's located in RiNo around the Five Points area, just in eyeshot of downtown Denver. This area is vibrant, having various types of bars, eateries and small shops nearby. Stepping inside I was immediately in love. It's got a divey feel, but super clean and welcoming. The Avs game was playing on the TV. Inside you could hear people laughing, a woman yelling a joke, and a group of guests trying to goad the bartender into taking a shot, and settling in a shot of Red bull instead. I found myself super impressed with the selection. For example, on the top of the top shelf they had Pappy 12 year for $20 or 15 year for $30. They also had your standard fare of specials, wells and plenty of affordable, local beer. I'd always wanted to try Pappy, so I snagged the 12 year, and it was great. The bartender made great conversation throughout my stay, but wasn't intrusive. Everyone in the bar was kind, as well. Had I had the ability, I would have stayed longer. My trip to Denver was a quick one on this occasion, but a highlight was my trip to 715. I will certainly return, and if you are looking to grab a drink at a real, local spot, don't sleep on the 715.

I don't know why I don't hit up this spot more often. Whether its Motown Monday or Wu-Tang Wednesday.. its always a good time. This spot is clean but with an appropriate amount of bathroom graffiti for a respectable dive bar. The drinks are on the cheaper side and the tunes are always jamming. You will see quite the collection of folks here and it makes for some great people watching. There is a patio area with picnic tables and a walk up pizza window for late night snacks (always necessary).

Nice little club/bar scene in 5 Points, near the old DMV area. Come chill or dance the night away. There us a full bar to endulge in any libation you want. As soon as you get inside walk towards the back hand ya first left to an outside patio that features a pizza kitchen! Yes late night you can just go outside and munch on an assortment or pizza. The large slices won't disappoint!
