1.25 & Up A Scoop Chinese Restaurant

Food had no flavor. Chicken was hard and over cooked. The rice was nasty. There egg rolls are soggy and had no flavor.

During a recession when times are hard, I love myself a good lunch special! They have a great lunch special during the weekdays, after taxes totaling of $6.50. That includes white rice, fried rice or lo mein, two sides, vegetable egg roll or wonton and a can soda! The lady packing my food was sweet and super nice. I got the lo mein which, orange chicken, kung pap chicken and wonton. Everything was not bland like panda express. All had good flavors and for the price what else can you expect?! And they aren't stingy on the servings either! If your on budget and would love to support small business come here!

Exactly what I expect from a place called 1.25 & up. It was a classic Chinese takeout and the food did not disappoint. I got the teriyaki chicken and the peppered chicken. Both were excellent! Rice was a little stale, but I went close to closing. If you're craving some late dinner Chinese. You can't go wrong here.

My go to spot for simple Chinese take-out. Hot & spicy chicken with lo mein is my favorite.

Really rude, unfriendly staff. Went in for their $4.99 lunch special and I do understand that tax is not included but how does this come up to $8.00?? This is my first time going there and will very likely not go back. P.S. just tried the food, and it tastes stale and old. Not even warm. I wish I could it give this place zero stars.

First time trying this place. 8/10 for the orange chicken, could have had a stronger orange flavor. 5/10 for the chicken lo mein, didn't like the texture of the the noodles (seemed like spaghetti) and was pretty bland until I added sweet and sour sauce to it. 9.5/10 for the Wontons, they were crispy and delicious. 10/10 for the sweet and sour sauce, the best thing I tried. Paid $8.75 total for this whole meal, extremely good value. I will have to try their fried rice or vermicelli noodles next time.

This place scammed me. What a rip off! I gave my order for a scoop of Lo mein and a 3 of orange chicken and was charged $16.50! Not $1.25 a scoop more like $5 a scoop. Food wasn't good either. Recommend the $1.25 a scoop place just south of here.

The cashier lady is racist. You see, me and a few of my friends went there for lunch yesterday because we're broke teenagers. We all ordered the same thing. My friend of color was told that her food was $7.50 ($1 more than us for some reason) but when she later checked her bank account, the restaurant charged her $30! For 3 scoops!!! While the rest of us were charged $6.50 for the entire meal. That is ridiculous. Do not go here. Definitely reaching out to someone higher up to get my friend her money back.

Best food ever. Best. Jalapeño chicken is the best. Service was good, my favorite spot.
