My name is Chef Albert, Owner & Creator of Albert's Petite Sweets. I own a chocolate shop in Long Beach and very particular with customer service and presentation. I had a friend visiting from Paris and I was so proud to show her what real American breakfast is about, FAMILY STYLE! Aunt Emma's Pancakes in Chula Vista not only had an amazing ambience, the customer service was on point, the staff was very friendly, the food was very good and had an amazing price! We ate here four days in a row! I highly recommend this to anybody around the area to check out and eat. It's a friendly environment for family, kids, and friends. Our waitress Yaghaira was AMAZING, courteous, attentive, and paid attention to our needs. The manager Ariana was kind and double checked we were enjoying our visit. Thank you for an amazing experience! If you're going to COMIC-CON, this is the best place to stay and have quality meals with an amazing price!

Not sure I understand why this place was so busy? Or popular? Maybe there's one local options? Or other local options are more expensive?Packing is terrible, so heads up. Plan accordingly. We did get seated quickly... about 10 minutes. The place being packed appeared to be a good sign of good food. Ahh, no. Pancakes are super doughy. And that wasn't just my pancakes-others with me agreed. The place is so loud it's hard to talk and try to enjoy a meal. Okay, coffee was good, so bonus points there. Speaking of pancakes... okay when the menu says banana pancakes, doesn't that sound like the pancakes are made with banana? Like mixed in. Mine came with regular pancakes with banana sliced on top. But the menu says "Banana Pancakes" (above copy says, "add bananas, strawberries, etc for an extra $2"). Shouldn't the menu item be "Pancakes $, add bananas, etc $2?" What's the extra banana for 2 bucks if you already call it Banana Pancakes? (Sorry if this is confusing... check out their menu and see if it makes sense to you).Oh, two of our pancakes orders were wrong. But by that point we fixed my sons and I just poured a bunch of syrup on mine and kept quiet. We were staving. Next time we are in the area this well be a pass.

Darn good food, and you can find healthy options on the menu. I am still on COVID19 protocol, so I eat outside. Took a little bit to find a server, but once she arrived, my visit was pleasant. Ordered an egg white, mushroom, and spinach omelet with fruit, and I ordered a side of pancakes. The cakes were average, but the omelet was good, and the fruit was fresh. I liked their coffee and served in an old school mug.

Very loud. The waitress got our orders right to then have them come out wrong. Pancakes came out doughy. Banana pancakes were TOPPED with banana and not made in them. Very okay place.

The staff were friendly and attentive. We got our drinks and coffee quickly. I had a coffee with vanilla cream and it was perfect. Also fruit, cottage cheese and a buttered English muffin. Can't really mess those up but the butter literally poured off the muffin. It was delicious The portions are large and I tried a little waffle and eggs from my friends plate. The bathroom was something I'd lose my appetite thinking about. Just bad. Also leaving the restaurant I smelled like grease for the entire 2 hours car ride so that was unfortunate. A new air filter may be needed.

It's a cute little place and OK area. Parking was very limited on the restaurant property. The food was OK. My boyfriend ordered chicken for his green Chilaquiles and they gave him a whole chicken breast on the side. So make sure you emphasize you'd like it cut up and on top. Other than that coffee was great bacon was crispy.

When my sister-in-law came to visit from Puerto Rico, we'd already checked off the touristy stuff, so we wanted a breakfast spot that was delicious, quick, and nearby. Aunt Emma's fit the bill perfectly! The service & food is always outstanding. Shoutout to Ariana and Yaghaira, who provided top-notch service throughout our meal. Ariana welcomed us warmly and took our order, while Yaghaira ensured our dining experience was nothing short of excellent. I'd definitely recommend Aunt Emma's to anyone, whether they're local or just passing through, looking for a delicious breakfast or meal. It is conveniently located close to the 5 freeway & trolley.
