Audacity Wine Bar

THE ONLY "Audacity" THIS BAR HAS IS THE AUDACITY TO MAKE FRAUDULENT CHARGES ON YOUR CREDIT CARD(Worse than that, they'll keep lying after the fact to protect themselves)The day after I came here, I found a large fraudulent charge on my credit card (in addition to the real charge). I called them about this and they would not help. I gave them my name, phone number, and the fraudulent charge amount but in their response to this review they lied, saying they didn't have my contact info when they clearly did (lie #1).They're claiming that I ordered a bottle and a wine and cheese plate, when I didn't (lie #2). Feel free to come up with the receipt for this so-called transaction of mine (spoilers: you can't because this receipt doesn't exist).They're claiming that they have footage of this. Impossible because I never ordered those things (lie #3). Please go ahead and report it to the police if you have this footage (spoilers: you can't because the footage doesn't exist).They're claiming that I was in a group; I came here alone with my girlfriend, not a group (lie #4). This is the most obvious lie of them all--if they had footage of me, they'd know that I didn't come in a group.Audacity Wine Bar will make fraudulent charges on your credit card and if you call them out on it, they'll lie to save face and pretend like they're some generous benefactor for returning the money they stole from you. Photo attached so they can't edit their response and improve their lies.Don't come here unless you want to replace your credit card.

When things return to normal I think Audacity will be a great spot to visit before/after a show at the Paramount Theatre or any kind of date night in downtown. Alexandria Nicole's new wine bar is a nice addition to the convention centre area.I popped in for a tasting and took home a few bottles as the winery is offering -50% discount for educators (Sept. 2020).

I met up with a group here during a conference and was surprised to find it empty...which was perfect for us. We were greeted by an attentive server who offered us complimentary wine tasters. She kindly let us all pay separately. I'd definitely recommend. She also took multiple photos of our group, and was very patient,

Make sure to read about the $21 service charge that does not go to the service but 100% to the company. What they want to use the charge for is literally why there are prices next to items on the menu. We walked out of another restaurant that did this. Not a trend I'm getting behind.

When you walk in the scent of the truffle popcorn hits you, as well as a friendly welcome from the staff. Wine was good, as were apps. Perfect for before l- or after-event drinks. Will definitely be back!

Very nice interior and fantastic people. They not only have tasty wine but other drinks too. A great spot to dart into and very conveniently located to the Convention Center area.

The wine, food, and vibes were all there!! I am not super well versed in wines, but we tried a white, red, and rosé in a wine flight and all of them were delicious. My favorite was probably the rosé. We also ordered the charcuterie board and truffle popcorn. The popcorn was TO DIE FOR!! I really appreciated the friendliness of the staff. They were constantly checking in and making sure we had a great experience. I can't wait to go back again!!

This review is about 2 weeks late lol but I made sure to make this review because they deserve it. I was a first timer in Seattle from Los Angeles and actually stumbled upon this cute winery on a casual walk. The sign outside actually was what caught my attention!First of all the girls in the front were great! Kat and Dionne were the best and My bf and I really loved chatting with them and appreciated their insights on Seattle and wine. (I absolutely love learning about wine and learned a lot from them). They were also from California so that was cool. Kat was also nice enough to give us recommendations on local book stores and books which we loved. We ordered a flight and they also had a Valentine's Day special drink I believe it was a Bellini. Their wines were all so good and the inside was so cozy as well. I ended up purchasing a bottle and it wasn't even one that I tried, they just had so many that looked cool! It's called "Adulting" and the way they described it made me want to lug it back to LA haha. Thank you guys for the great experience!
