Atypical Waffle

waffles & c.r.e.a.m (3.2/5):good waffle but nothing amazing! i'm not sure if they are homemade but they didn't really taste like they were. size of this waffle was smaller than the number seven for some reason, which was weirdly inconsistent. the number seven (3.5/5):interesting waffle, i enjoyed all the different toppings (avocado, brown sugar bacon, goat cheese) but didn't care too much for everything together. this waffle shop is pretty cool, i like the decor around the shop. however, the food was just ok, personally would not return. for the cost, i think the waffles should be bigger.

Cute spot with friendly waitstaff. You order from an airstream!! Fruit bowl was delicious and fresh. We had berry waffles with whipped cream. My husband tried the bread pudding said it was a combo of blueberry muffin with bread pudding. Arnold palmer best I've had in SD.

Cute spot tucked away behind a laundromat. The food is great, waffles are fluffy and have unique topping combinations. The tomato grits were also a star.

Waffles are delicious. Service is quick and lovely. The place is super cute. If anybody knows of the lemonade guy can I get his info please. The lemonade is sooo good. But let's go back to the waffles, they're a must have!

Super cool looking place. Loved the art all around. We arrived at 10 am but they stated they ran out of food. Can't review what I didn't try but would love to go back when they do have some food available.

This place is a hidden spot. It has such a fun and unique environment. There are limited choices on the menu, but you can't go wrong with whatever you choose. Great portions and excellent value. Also, the customer service was top-notch. I was really impressed that the staff members remembered our names even after calling out our names to receive the order.

The menu in the place is completely different from what is on the website and is pretty small. I ordered an acai bowl and strawberry sweet cream matcha. The acai bowl was bland and watery and tasted like just bananas. The matcha tasted like strawberry milk and not like matcha at all. However, I tried the #7 waffle and it was delicious. Service was a little slow as well. Would not recommend this place if you want a good breakfast.

Great spot, delicious food.I loved the grits and tomatoes, it was so creamy and the perfectly ripe tomatoes were a great addition to cut the richness. Bonus throwback comfort food by serving it in a red plastic bowl reminiscent of childhood. The sesame iced matcha was refreshing, not too sweet.I would gladly return

Amazing food and drinks! The garden fresh tomorrow grits were incredible. All of the waffle selections are delicious and the sticky rice matcha is my new obsession. Wonderful service and atmosphere!
